"Why does that matter?" Marina carefully asked Ahrse who only paused for a second before he responded with a smile.
"Zane sent me a message to keep her safe," Ahshe honestly responded to which Marina couldn't help but frown at.
What Arshe told her meant that Zane was still interested in her, which by Marina's standards was a good thing, even if Arshe didn't think so.
"I can help you find out if she has fully broken the bond with him," Marina responded with a soft gaze in her eyes as she moved closer to touch Arshe' arms.
"You're the Alpha and she's nothing! I'll find out and give you the information you want," Marina entreated.
Arshe wasn't the kind to be persuaded by mere words but the killer look in Marina's eyes were enough for him.
"You can't kill her! Zane's orders!" Ashe sarcastically said as he nodded his head and jumped into his car after giving Marina permission.
But Marina continued to stand in the same spot even after Arshe had driven off and gone elsewhere.
Her hands tightening into a fist as the glint she had seen in Arshe' eyes when he talked about Tahra.
'Does he like her? The fact that Zane asked him to protect her should enrage him more considering the fact that Zane's father killed his own father in the last territory war'
The more she thought about it the more she gritted her teeth together, biting her well manicured fingers in anxiety unable to figure it out.
A few minutes later, Marina also went home, waking up early, even before the sky was fully bright.
However instead of going to Tahra she chose to go to someone else first.
'If I'm going to get any information from her and get her to obey me, I need to break her first!' Marina thought to herself, knowing the exact person she needed for the job.
*****************************
Tahra woke up the next day wishing she hadn't. She had barely gotten two hours of sleep having spent the entire night thinking of different scenarios in her head.
Going to Gavni was out, and there was no guarantee that they wouldn't assault her again.
Especially since they were all stationed at the border which was in the middle of nowhere, filled with nothing but grass for miles.
Tahra got ready like always only to snap up a kitchen knife at the very last minute just before she stepped out of the house.
'Its better than nothing! At least I'll have this just in case,' Tahra thought to herself as she walked straight to the border getting there in time.
Eight o'clock on the dot.
Gavni said his piece, warning everyone to be in their best behavior before they were all dismissed.
Tara didn't even look at Munak, Harry or John as she waited for them to leave first to their posts which she was sure was far from hers.
It wasn't until ten minutes later that she finally began to walk to her post making her way through the cleared path between the trees.
Like usual, Tahra was bored but it was something she found quite manageable rather than being assaulted.
Unfortunately for her, her peace didn't last long.
It was midday, and instead of lying against the wall like she normally did, Tahra simply sat under a big enough tree, one that would provide enough shade.
Pulling open her bag to eat the lunch she had previously packed while wondering if her life for the next three months would continue in such a simple manner.
But she had just opened the bag when she heard loud footsteps, loud enough for Tahra to know that whosoever was coming wanted to be heard.
Unwilling to be caught unawares, unlike before Tahra immediately sprang to her feet, looking right in the direction of the noise she heard.
'It's definitely Munak! Who else could it—'
But she soon found out who it was, as they stepped out from behind the trees to reveal their face.
Tahra agitated but not entirely shocked the second she came face to face with the person.
"Harry!" she said, calling his name, to let him know that she knew exactly who he was even if she wasn't sure yet what he was there for.
"Well, I'm glad you remember me! This will be quick!" He said with a shrug dashing straight for Tahra the second he was done speaking to her complete and unadulterated shock.
Tahra immediately picked up her bag, pulling the knife out just in time before he reached her, which immediately made him double back, putting a space of about a foot between them.
"I'll cut you if you come any closer! You should have come with your friends! You're in over your head if you think you can take me by yourself," Tahra yelled at him at the top of her lungs, her eyes trailing each and everyone of his movements.
Knowing how quick and devastating it would be, if he managed to get past her.
"A Knife? How original!"
"I should say the same for you! The punch I gave you the last time wasn't enough!" Tara screamed at him hoping that the noise she made would be able to attract people's attention to her.
Her heart was racing and her eyes shifted everywhere in front to make sure that there was no one else besides him.
Which was why she had no idea that there was someone behind her until it was too late.
A soft crunch was all she got as a warning right before she felt something heavy and painful hit her on the side of her face, strong enough to send her straight to the ground.
The knife fell out of her hands and Harry descended over her in seconds.
"What? You think I'm interested in your body?" Was all the warning Tahra got before she felt him descend on her with punches, heavy enough to leave heavy bruises.
Aiming for her torso, before aiming for her face, manipulating her to automatically protect her head with her arms before he began to hit the rest of her body.
"Pl-please! ST—" Tahra pleaded, doing her best to use her arms to protect her head only to feel the pain seep through the bones of her arms instead as Harry didn't hold back.
Tahra was in pain!
Every hit was like a boulder and she was sure that her lips were bleeding as she did her best to protect her eyes.
Tahra was just wondering when the whole thing would end when a horrified expression flashed across her face, as she saw him raise legs to kick her.
Her entire body immediately shook in fear from the intense amount of pain she was about to receive.
But it never came.
