Fixing his eyes on her with a huge smirk appearing on his face, a few seconds later.
"Sister!" he said, a word that made Meave instantly frown as she openly glared at him, with a look of disgust on her face.
"Drey! The Alpha isn't seeing anyone right now so you'll have to come back!" Maeve told him to which Drey immediately shook his head as he moved closer to stand in front of her table.
"You look more enraged than usual. Why would you even think I'd come all the way here to see him?" Drey asked, pulling the chair beside him to sit in front of Maeve who looked even more irritated at his singular action.
"What do you want!" She snapped at him, in no mood to have a conversation with the spurn of demons in front of her.
But instead of responding Drey kept on staring at the cup of tea that had been placed on the table. Placed in a way that was closer to him than to Maeve, which meant that it hadn't been made for her.
"I'm guessing he rejected it?" Drey said, leaning closer to smell it before shaking his head again with a slightly excited look in his eyes.
"Poison or aphrodisiac?"
"But I'm guessing its not poison seeing as how you seem to be stuck on him, even though you're already fucking his half-brother on the side!"
Maeve's head immediately darted back to look behind her at the tightly shut mahogany door with a worried expression on her face before turning back around to glare at Drey with all the anger she could convey in one look.
"If you're here to sprout nonsense from that disgusting mouth of yours then you might as well get out!" she harshly whispered in as low a tone as she could muster.
Which only seemed to amuse Drey as he leaned even further into the chair he sat on. Taking a few minutes to allow his eyes stray from the top of his sister's head to her feet.
"Maybe if you dyed your hair black with streaks of white, he'll pay attention to you. Especially since it's obvious that your body doesn't hold any appeal"
Maeve, angry, picked up the phone to her right and began to wordlessly dial numbers with utmost concentration, one that told Drey that she seriously intended to throw him out.
'Father sent me!" He said three words which were enough to make her freeze as she turned her attention back to him with a trace of worry in them.
"What does he want?"
"He's a little impatient! You're already fucking Xion and thats enough for him,"
"Xion has a mate!" Maeve angrily snapped, especially since Xion had no appeal to her and was nothing but temporary amusement and a back-up plan.
"One that can be disposed of! That or reel Zane in and become Luna before he becomes disposable!," Drey continued in a monotone.
"If you think it's so easy why don't you do it your–"
"I'm not the one that's trying to sleep with him just because he belonged to Tahra. What happens when you find your own mate?" Drey curiously asked but the look Maeve sent his way was enough response for him to understand that she didn't give a shit about the idea of 'mates'.
Tired of the whole back and first Drey got on his feet making clear that he was leaving.
"Where are you going?" Maeve couldn't help but ask. Drey was her brother but he was also the black sheep and the most unpredictable person in the family.
"Where else but home?" Drey replied with a mocking expression in his eyes, sending a final look at Maeve before he turned around and left.
Their father could be cruel but that was better than someone unpredictable, who you weren't even sure what he was capable of.
'I need to become Luna! That way I'll have enough power not to have to listen to any of their orders!' Maeve thought to herself as she sat in her seat placing her head on the table and staring at the cold tea on it, one she would have tossed away.
'Is it too much to want to be Luna, with an Alpha on my arm?'

Marina was the first to get back to Arshe' mansion beyond disappointed to get there and not see any trace that Arshe had gotten back.
She was welcomed by the servants who thought nothing of letting her in, even without Arshe' express permission, considering she slept there on most nights.
She had just sat down in the living room when they began to bring her snacks in preparation for when Arshe would be back and dinner would be served.
Everything looked normal as usual but Marina was dying inside from the thought of not knowing what he was doing.
She drank tea, cup after cup as time ticked by. She was about to jump off the couch and go straight to Tahra's house to find him herself, having nervously chewed through half a nail, a bad habit she had sworn to get rid of when she heard a slight commotion, one that indicated that Arshe was back.
Marina immediately smoothened the worried expression on her face as she got up, in preparation of greeting him with a smile, one she could barely hold up.
Arshe walked in, waving the servants off as he made his way straight to Marina ordering her up the stairs with the gesture of a finger, even as he made his way up the stairs first.
Marina had been calm until she saw the gesture Arshe made, one that made her tremble to the bone. Memories of the wounds on her back resurfacing at once and bringing a storm of fear through her insides.
Still, it was the only way she could get the answers she wanted. The only way she knew to hold Arshe tight enough for him to not let her go.
One after the other, she placed one foot in front of the other as she made her way up the stairs to the red room.
