Arshe had been silently watching from afar, and he was pissed.
Beyond pissed, he was livid.
He had just watched Tahra raise his hopes, opening her mouth to reject Zane only to hear her turn around and swear to do the opposite.
Just before Zane jumped over the wall, Arshe was seconds away from revealing himself and wringing Zane's neck. But the only reason he didn't was that he wasn't a hundred percent sure he could kill Zane, and not killing him would only raise Zane's guard.
But that didn't lessen his anger as he glared at Tahra from deep in the bushes where he stood, watching her sit mournfully on the ground.
'Even if I step out and pretend to comfort her, what would that achieve?' Arshe thought to himself, knowing that it would only make her more wary of him.
Not seeing any reason to stay there any longer, Arshe turned around and walked away, heading towards the main road where his car was parked.
