I laid down as I watched Amber work on something through the bars while the vampire watched impatiently along the side. I stayed quiet in fear and hoped that it would either be as done as quickly as possible or that Sylvia and Wilfred would come soon. Eventually the vampire spoke up.
"For god's sake how long does this shit take?!" the vampire shouted impatiently, his pacing coming to an end. "It's been 30 minutes!"
"Don't worry, it's almost done." Amber said plainly as if she was dealing with an annoying food customer rather than a dangerous vampire.
The vampire scoffs "are you sure I'm not allowed to eat before I take it? I'm fucking starving." he said as he eyes dart to me for a spilt second.
Amber tusk and wave her finger "nu-uh. It will have a bunch of terrible side effects that are pretty shitty to deal with." Amber then turned around and handed him a potion. "Here you go." In an instant the vampire grabbed and started downing the whole bottle. While he was doing it Amber began to slowly shift towards the cell when I was held. At first, I questioned what she was doing but almost immediately I heard a scream. It was from the vampire who was now on the ground writhing in pain.
"Augh you bitch!" he groaned out in almost agony. "What did you do to me?!" at that amber spirited to the door and open the cell and picked me up untying me.
"What did you do to him?" I questioned as we began to leave.
Amber smirked "weakening potion basically a poison to a lot of their kind. Now let get out of here before-"
Before she could finish a table was thrown barely missing the two of them. They both turn around to see the vampire staggering on his feet with a look of pure murderous intent.
"You little bitch-!" he choked out, still in pain "I'll kill you!" He then lunged at the both of them. Amber and James barely got out of the way. it seems that whatever Amber gave the vampire had weakened him greatly but not enough to render him paralyzed.
"Shit!" Amber said, pushing James to the side. "Get a weapon quick before he gets us."
"What weapon?" James said as he watches the vampire get to his feet.
"Anything at this point," Amber said, grabbing a loose pipe. "Hopefully we can buy time for–" she didn't get to finish before the vampire attacked again. The vampire kicked Amber who just managed to block being sent flying into the wall. James looked around to grab another pipe on the ground a hit the vampire over the head with it which did little damage other than piss him off.
The vampire grabbed by neck and lifted James up, choking the life out of him.
"I swear I'll teach you a thing or two bouts messing with–'' however the rant stop as soon as low growling was heard.
Amber sign in pained relief" about fucking time."
The vampire turns around to see a large wolf charged directly toward him tackling him to the ground and in the process dropping James.
As James centers himself and tries to get up he hears a voice coming to him
"James!" Sylvia came rushing toward him checking if he was alright. "We follow tracking spell all the way her and I was so worried about you and-"
James raises his hand to stop her" Syl I get it thank you for coming." James had truly been grateful but there was a giant wolf fighting a pissed off vampire not too far away from them
And he thought it be best to leave.
"Um excuse me?" Amber waved her hand at the couple in annoyance. "Nice to see guys get along but a little help here?" Sylvia and James walked over to Amber to help her up. In the background the massive wolf and the vampire were brawling ferociously, despite being less experienced the vampire was putting in a hell of a fight.
"Is it going to be, okay?" James asks as the fight was quickly getting chaotic with the vampire grappling the wolf which immediately began thrashing around.
"Wilfred is going to be fine." Amber said hurriedly "right now we should be-" before Amber could finish Wilfred was thrown across the room toward them. "Ah it seems I spoke wrong."
"Aw fuck!" The vampire across from them shouted looking at us seeing there were more of us before he turned and ran through one of the holes in the wall made by the fight.
"Well, that got solved, didn't it?" Amber noted sarcastically. The giant wolf huff in agreement before standing up. "Well, we better get going before the cops come." Amber said, "I'm pretty sure no one want to spend this already shitty night in prison."
James can't help but agree with that.
