Chapter 40
Luciana's POV
I arrived in the conference room, surrounded by the company's shareholders. I could feel the tension in the air as my eyes fell upon Eugene, Ellen and Audrey. Merely looking at them, I could tell what was already about playing out as Mr. Morgan had informed me about it before.
"Good day all," Audrey was the first to speak. "We've all gathered here to carry out some reformation within the company and some of us might be affected. But I want to solicit with those who will be affected to understand that it was a difficult decision, but as a company, we had no choice but to do what needed to be done."
I was quiet listening to all she was saying, not totally unsure of what she was saying but I just had to wait to see what was about unfolding for myself.
