Thank you for the reviews. I'm sorry that last chapter felt a bit rushed, because it really was, but I fast tracked it so that I could get it out of the way already and focus on the final chapters.

I like to see your reviews because this is how I know you guys are truly reading my story. Love it or hate it, I feel like I'm actually talking to someone instead of just relaying messages like this.

Also since this is just a fanfiction, I took the liberty of tweaking the narrative and the way the characters viewed and did things to fit the story. Please understand.

Btw, this chapter is a continuation of the last chapter, and this one is long. Please read this when you have nothing else to do. This really can't be rushed if you really want to immerse yourself in the story.

Enjoy! :)

Chapter 19: No Need To Worry

Soon, footsteps could be sensed, signalling the arrival of the guild's hot topic of the day.

Erza arrived, clad in her beautiful Ataraxia outfit.

The ones who were talking about Erza didn't have the guts to let her hear them. They were already scared of her when she was just telling them off, what more if she finds out they've been talking about her behind her back… Too bad she was listening in on them this whole time.

She had already reached the guild since earlier, but when she heard her name mentioned, she instinctively hid next to a window on one side of the guild (so she wouldn't raise suspicion if someone decided to enter or leave the guild) and decided to eavesdrop on them and find out why they're talking about her.

Looking around the guild for Natsu, she was disappointed at his absence, "Why isn't Natsu here yet even though she's here already." Erza looked at Mira with a scowl on her face, seething when she remembered what she was doing with Natsu earlier.

She was broken out of her dark train of thoughts when she noticed a rare but familiar presence. Her eyes lit up.

"Mother? Are you here to visit me again?" Erza wasn't surprised to see her mom since Irene visits from time to time, but Erza still asked her in case she had business with someone else.

"Yes. I'm here to catch up again, dear." Irene referred to Erza as a doting mother would do to her child, finding herself chirpier than she normally is whenever she visited her daughter.

It might have been the fact that Erza was the only family left she had in the entire world, but it was mostly because she always had the desire to be a mother even back when she abandoned Erza. She was only looking out for Erza since she was unstable at the time and wanted to protect her own daughter, not knowing what was going to happen to the village she chose to leave Erza in the care of.

At that time, she already resolved herself to becoming a tool to achieve Zeref's goals because she wanted to forget about everything else. But deep down, all that time, her motherly instincts never waded, despite convincing herself she didn't have a daughter anymore. And when she found Erza was alive this whole time and learning everything she went through, she vowed to herself to never lose her way again.

If living near Erza and visiting her from time to time was what it took to slowly bridge the gap between mother and daughter, she would do it in the blink of an eye. She was happier lately because it seems like her wish of having a close relationship with her daughter would be finally fulfilled after yearning for it so long.

"It's great to see you, Mom." Erza smiled warmly, returning her mother's gesture.

"It's wonderful seeing you too, dear." Irene responded happily.

"So… where do you want to go today?" Erza asked, waiting for her mother's response. It was usually Irene who suggested a place to go to. When they ate out, it was her treat. She wanted to be able to spoil her daughter now, after all.

"I'm fine just being here at your guild, if that's fine with you?" Erza was taken by surprise by Irene's place selection this time. "Are you sure, Mom? No need to force yourself to stay here at the guild for my sake." Erza was thinking that Irene didn't want to go outside today so that she wouldn't have to go to the extra trouble of walking back to the guild after their day together ends.

"Nonsense! I wouldn't have suggested it otherwise." Irene shrugged off her daughter's concern.

"Then if it's fine with you..." Erza took her seat at the table across Irene's chair.

"Good morning Erza!"

"Good morning again, Erza-san!"

Happy, Lucy and Wendy greeted.

"A pleasant morning to you guys as well." Erza returned their greetings. Carla didn't see the need to exchange greetings with Erza again since they already did so earlier.

"So where did you go this morning, Erza-san?" Wendy curiously asked. Normally, Wendy would just let it be and mind her own business, since it was a trivial matter in the first place. But remembering how everyone's overactive imagination's got to them to the point that it escalated into them making their own theories and talking about Erza, it got Wendy curious.

"Hey! It's rude to pry, Wendy." Carla scolded. Realizing this, Wendy apologized "I'm sorry for prying, Erza-san. I didn't mean to."

Erza just looked on with an unreadable expression on her face. She was coming up with an answer to satisfy them and throw them off her tracks. She was neither deaf or an idiot. She heard them talking about her earlier and came inside the guild when she felt that the time was right.

Besides the ones at their table, the ones sitting nearby were also listening in, pretending to talk with each other or doing something else, so that the guild won't be too quiet and alarm Erza of their intentions. They were also curious what kept Erza from going straight to the guild this morning.

"Don't worry, Wendy. It's fine, I can tell you." Erza answered with a smile.

Irene looked at Erza intently from her seat.

Erza continued.

"The reason I was preoccupied earlier was because I finally mustered up the courage to go buy an outfit I had my eyes on since a month ago." Erza wasn't completely lying. She tried to visit Natsu at his house earlier, but was forced to hide at the tree when she sensed someone else inside with him. To her shock and anger, it was her love rival. Seeing them act all lovey-dovey annoyed her to the bones, but what they did next caused her to be so mad that she quickly fled away from the scene before she loses control of herself and does something she was surely gonna regret later on.

Deciding to keep her mind away from that disturbing scene, she explored Magnolia's blacksmiths and armors shops to distract herself from the intense anger she was feeling. The people she passed by avoided her and kept their distance, not wanting to deal with the enraged Titania who had on the face of a growling tiger. After scouring a few shops and looking at their items apathetically, she stopped at a store's display case that caught her attention. She found the odd ensemble that intrigued her for some reason every time she passed by it, even though she admits that it is an odd combination (she didn't know that it was actually a Halloween set that was on-display to hopefully attract someone willing enough to buy it). She normally dismissed it and passed by it, thinking that it would be too weird to buy such a thing (even though she really wanted it), but with the mixed bag of emotions she was feeling right now, her anger caused her to do something irrational and she bought it on impulse.

"Wanna see it?" Erza grinned mischievously.

"Umm…" Wendy was uncomfortable with Erza's smile, feeling like she should say no. Not giving Wendy a chance to answer, Erza Requipped into the dress she bought earlier.

Seeing the bright light of Erza's Requip magic, everyone looked at her direction… only to wish they hadn't.

Erza was clad in a white Victorian-style dress and a tiara while holding a leather horse whip, scaring everyone. She looked like a killer Queen.

Everyone sweatdropped and all exclaimed at the same time, "That looks scary as hell!"

"Well, how is it? Does it look weird?" Erza directed the question at Wendy, but she was seemingly looking at everyone and invitingly asked them with a smile that promised pain if they dissed her.

"It's scary…" Wendy thought in her mind with comical tears.

"I-it looks really good on you, Erza. Am I right guys?" Gray nervously answered for them.

"Y-yeah."

"Of course it is."

"It looks so nice I can't keep my eyes off it."

Words of praise were directed at Erza. Irene chuckled softly, knowing why they were all answering in praises.

Turning to Wendy, the sky dragon slayer muttered out her praise as well in fear of angering the Titania.

Seeing that this incident has resolved itself, Erza changed back to her Ataraxia Armor and sat down across her mother and crossed her arms on her chest.

"So, does that answer your questions about my whereabouts this morning?" Erza said loudly, making sure that everyone heard her and letting them know that she heard them talking about her earlier.

After receiving their scared replies of "Yes!" (since they were busted), Erza noticed Irene looking at her strangely. It looked like she wanted to say something.

"What is it, Mom?"

"Oh, it's nothing. I was just curious about one thing." Realizing that Erza noticed her inquisitive stare, she answered earnestly.

"And that would be?" Erza prodded with an expectant look.

"On second thought, never mind. I just realized that it would be rather unbecoming to ask such a private question." Irene changed her mind when she realized that this might put Erza in a difficult position, especially since they were in public today, surrounded by Erza's guildmates.

"Seriously, what is it?" Erza persisted. Keeping secrets from her nakama were one thing, but keeping secrets from her mother bothered her. After all, despite the long amount of time that they were unaware of each other's existence, one of the biggest reasons why they've been getting closer and developing a normal mother-daughter relationship so fast in such a short amount of time, was because Erza usually told stories of her adventures with Natsu and the others. Of course, she let slip a few of her secrets here and there, but knowing more about each other only made them grow closer.

"Maybe I'll just ask again later instead. It isn't meant to be discussed with prying ears."

Hearing this set off an alarm in Erza's head. Usually, something that Irene couldn't discuss in public meant that it was serious.

"If you say so…"

"Anyway, so what's new with you, dear?" Irene asked her daughter, listening to her daughter's updates on her life and the missions she's been on lately (with Natsu), with a warm smile on her face.

From his spot in the bar, Gildarts was observing Erza the entire time. "Hmm..." He muttered out loud.

"Is there a problem I can help you with, Master?" Mira kindly asked, wiping down glasses behind the bar.

"Huh? Oh, it's nothing. I'm just swamped with work lately. You would've thought that these guys could learn to hold themselves back on missions after all these years…" Gildarts lied, and instead covered up his thoughts by complaining about his duties as a guild master.

Mira awkwardly laughed, "Hahaha, it's really tough, huh? Well, just hang in there, Master." Mira remembered all the complaints Master Makarov let out when he was still the guild master.

Gildarts was glad that Mira was kind and understanding. Speaking of which…

"Mira, where's Natsu?"

"Natsu? To be honest, I don't know." Mira awkwardly smiled with her eyes closed.

"Eh? You didn't spend the night at his place?" Gildarts knew that Mira frequently spent her nights over at Natsu's house, sometimes taking Happy along as well so he could spend time with his best friend.

Mira loved being alone with Natsu, but she also respected his time with others and didn't monopolize him, no matter how much she wanted to keep him all to herself. It was for this reason that she was able to let Natsu's non-stop missions with Erza go on for so long. But even so, Mira was also just a woman in love, and she too, had her limits when it comes to sharing her boyfriend.

It was for this reason that Gildarts was wondering why Mira didn't at least know where Natsu was.

"No, we were with each other up until this morning. But when we were about to leave his house, he suddenly told me to go to the guild first and said that he was just gonna catch up with me later."

"So he didn't tell you where was going?"

"No, he didn't. And here I was thinking that we could take a morning walk together…" Mira cutely pouted.

"Well, I'm sure he'll come kicking those guild doors any moment now." Gildarts cheered her up.

"Yeah, I think so too." Mira gave him a heartfelt smile. "Thank you, Master"

Gildarts just smiled in response and stood before saying, "Well, time to go back to those paperworks." Gildarts shuddered at the thought of paperworks and sent himself off with a wave of a hand.

"Good luck, Master!" Mira encouraged him.

Three hours later, Natsu finally arrived at the guild.

He didn't kick the doors down all the time anymore as he did in the past, but he still does it from time to time as part of his tradition. He returned the greetings of the ones he passed by.

"What's up, guys! Where's Happy?" Natsu asked them, not seeing a trace of his blue-furred partner anywhere.

"He's with Wendy and Carla." Lisanna interrupted her conversation with random guild members.

"Got it, thanks!" Natsu thanked Lisanna quickly so she could continue her conversation with the unfamiliar faces. "Must be new members." He thought.

Sitting at the bar, he made his presence known to his girlfriend, who was too busy to even notice that he already arrived. She was currently looking the other way, busy getting drinks for the guild members.

"Need some help with that?" Natsu offered, alarming Mira of his presence. She turned around and put on a huge smile on her face, "Natsu! You're finally here. Where did you go this morning?"

"Right, sorry about that, Mira. I went nowhere, really. Just needed to run a few errands by myself." Natsu awkwardly chuckled while scratching the back of his head..

"Really?" Mira looked at him with interrogating eyes.

"Y-yeah, really. What, do you think I'm lying?" Natsu was taken aback by Mira suddenly questioning him. He felt like he did something wrong.

"No, I'm just a bit curious why you didn't want to walk me to the guild today." Mira faked pouted, knowing that Natsu couldn't resist her charms, even if he knew she was just acting.

"But if I took you with me, you would be late for your shift here at the bar." Natsu pointed out.

"And whose fault is that?" Mira remembered the events of this morning that caused them to get ready later than usual. While they were flirting with each other after their talk about Erza, one thing led to another and they ended up making love to each other. By the time they knew it, it was already almost time for Mira to go to her barmaid duties. It didn't make things any faster when Natsu also wanted to shower together.

"In my defense, we haven't had the time to do 'it' lately, so I couldn't control myself anymore." Natsu crossed his arms and looked away, embarrassed to admit it out loud.

Mira found this cute and pinched his cheek, admitting that she also felt the same way, "Don't worry about it, I also felt the same way… But with the way you took me earlier, maybe my cute little dragon is in heat?" She put a hand over her mouth and giggled at her own joke.

"Wha-... Hey! Are you making fun of me again?" Natsu was taken by surprise by Mira's dirty joke, causing Mira to laugh even more at his cute reaction.

Erza was looking at them with emotionless eyes and a dead look on her face. By this time, she was alone at her table with Lucy and Levy, who were too preoccupied with their talk about the hottest books that just came out to notice Erza.

After Erza and Irene talked, Wendy asked Irene to train her again today. Seeing how earnest and sincere Wendy was being, Irene couldn't help but oblige her blue-haired student. Carla accompanied them with Happy on her tail.

Erza stood up and decided to take another mission with Natsu. This was her first instinct whenever she saw Natsu and Mira together. Since she couldn't just openly waltz in their private time together, she figured that the best and quickest way to get Natsu to herself for a period of time, is to take missions with him. But she's been doing it so much lately that it aroused suspicion from Gildarts, who noticed that they went on a lot of missions together, whenever he read the mission log book at the end of the day.

"Natsu, let's go on another mission." Erza interrupted them this time. When she said this, Natsu's smile while talking to Mira disappeared, and he looked at her tiredly. "Can't we take a break for at least one more day? There's no need to go on missions all the time, you know?" Natsu subtly hinted that he refused to take another mission with Erza today.

"But you promised to help me get over Jellal." Erza boldly declared, not giving him a chance to argue with her.

"What do you mean?" Mira innocently asked.

"What she means is that I'm helping her look for another guy by travelling around Ishgar with her on missions." Natsu quickly thought up, thinking that Mira's smile meant that she was mad.

"So that's why you've been away on missions so much lately." Mira realized.

"Y-yeah, that's it. I'm just helping a friend out, that's all." Natsu was glad that Mira trusted them too much to even think that they could be lying to her.

"Now that that's settled, let's go, Natsu." Erza grabbed his wrist and started to pull him away… when suddenly, she felt a resistance.

"Wait!" Mira called out, holding onto Natsu's other wrist.

"..."

"What?" Erza asked, finally looking at her in the eye again after a few weeks of avoiding her gaze and ignoring her.

"First, can you let go of Natsu?" Mira requested.

"Whatever." Erza looked at her hand that was holding Natsu's wrist and hesitantly let go of it. "Now, speak. The day's not getting any longer and we still have a mission to go to."

"But that's the thing, Erza. Natsu doesn't want to go on a mission with you today." Mira boldly admitted.

"What did you say?" Erza said with a small scowl on her face.

"I understand that you're feeling lonely right now, and that you asked Natsu to help you get back on your feet. I wouldn't be surprised if the reason why you're going on missions so much lately is also because you're trying to avoid Jellal. But it's already been more than a month. How much longer are you going to let this eat you up?" Mira knew she sounded a bit harsh right now, but she knew that she won't get through to Erza if she was just gonna keep walking on eggshells. It was about time she finally spoke up for a change.

"Are you telling me how I feel? You're pretty arrogant, huh?." Erza said the last part with hostility. Her anger towards Mira always led her to say or do irrational things.

"No, that's not what I meant…" Mira just wanted to motivate Erza and push her towards the right direction.

"Maybe the poster girl of Fairy Tail is not that perfect, after all." Erza lost control of her thoughts and flashed a condescending smirk towards Mira. Suddenly letting out her true feelings towards Mira gave her a new level of satisfaction. She wanted to insult her more.

Natsu, Mira and the ones near them looked at Erza in surprise.

"Erza, listen to m-" Mira tried to calm her down and make her understand what she really meant.

"Perhaps the reason why you don't want Natsu to help me is because you just want to keep him all to yourself." Erza continued

"No, that's not it…" Mira countered weakly, unsure of how to deal with this side of Erza. Why was Erza saying these things?

"Everyone else can go screw themselves as long as you can have Natsu's time to yourself, am I right? What kind of a selfish friend are you?" Erza was now shouting at this point, attracting the attention of the whole guild who was now curious what was happening.

"Erza! Stop it!" Natsu couldn't hold himself back anymore. He didn't want to piss Erza off because he was afraid of what she might say, but seeing how passive Mira was being, he knew that Erza crossed a line. It was one thing to defend herself, but now she was just venting out her anger on Mira.

For Mira, Erza's last accusation really hit close to home. That was why she couldn't say anything.

"Me?! She's the one who started it!"

"Because she cares about you! Mira's right, you can't keep brooding forever."

"Why are you always taking her side?!"

"Because I agree with her!"

"Even if she's wrong?!"

"Of course not! But we always find a way to work things out. But with you, it's impossible to tell you off. You have too much pride to allow such a thing..." After all this time of dealing with Erza, Natsu's pent-up emotions imploded. "You're the selfish one here."

Everyone only watched awkwardly. They couldn't believe what was happening.

"Hey, hey, things are getting out of hand." Cana remarked.

"Cana's right, please stop fighting guys..." Lucy pleaded to the three of them, but was ignored.

Naturally, everyone was surprised by what Natsu just said-... no, more like the whole situation in the first place. How did it even get to this point?

Realising what he just said, Natsu couldn't help but feel bad. "Shit, Erza I'm sorry. I was out of line." Natsu rubbed his arm and looked at the side.

None was more at a loss of words than Erza. She could feel tears about to fall from her eyes soon. It wasn't because of what Natsu said. This wasn't the first time that Natsu said something so harsh to her. But she was so tired of Natsu always treating her like she was an annoyance to him. He never agrees with her even when she knows he thinks the same way. But when it's Mira, he forces himself to understand her. Erza was so sick of this.

"I'm the selfish one? I dedicated my whole life to helping people. I helped you guys when you needed me." Tears started to pool at the corner of her eyes.

"During your highs and lows, I was there for you. I've been nothing but a good friend to you all this time, yet I'm selfish?" The tears started to escape her eyes.

"Is it still too much to ask for a friend who can be by my side when I need them the most? Am I not important enough for you?" Erza sobbed helplessly.

Natsu's eyes softened and he felt guilty.

Hearing the guild quiet down suddenly, the faint sound of shouting having stopped, Gildarts decided to see what was going on.

"What the hell's going on here?!" Gildarts shouted from the second floor.

Looking around the guild, he found his answer. He noticed a trio that stood out: Erza was crying and Natsu was looking at her with a guilty look in his face. Mira looked dejected.

"...Then help us understand. Why won't you let anyone else help you? Why just Natsu?" Mira broke out of her stupor and softly asked.

"Because he is the person I trust the most." Erza revealed.

"Then what about us? Do you not see us as your family?"

"Families don't date each other." Erza said, tears still pooling out of her eyes.

Natsu and Mira were unable to respond to that. They were both guilty that they made Erza cry. Mira initially just wanted to tell Erza off lightly to give Natsu a break, but she had no idea Erza felt this way. Natsu didn't know if Erza was telling the truth or if she was just saying these things to cover her tracks, but he knew that he embarrassed Erza in front of everyone earlier and he felt bad for her.

"Alright, that's enough you three. And all of you, go back to minding your own business." Gildarts slightly glared at them, but it was enough to get the message across. That them just staring at the trio was just making things worse, and he didn't want this incident to be even bigger than it has to be. Seriously, why wasn't anyone diffusing the situation?

Once everyone was back to doing their own things, Gildarts continued. "Alright, now I need all three of you in my office. Now."

"Wait." Irene made her presence known. She was back from her training session with Wendy. With her enhanced senses, she was able to hear everything going on inside the guild on their way back, visibly focused on something while she was walking back with Wendy, Carla and Happy.

"Natsu…" Happy was worried.

"If you don't mind, I'll be taking Erza back home." She suggested, holding Erza's hand like a parent would do to their child.

"Wait a minute, I'm not done with them yet." But Gildarts had other plans. He didn't want them to leave yet without talking things through with him first. As the guild master, he had the responsibility of resolving quarrels that could disrupt their relationships and the guild as a whole.

"But you were going to find a way to resolve things with them, correct? If that's the case, there is no one better to speak with my daughter than her mother. Besides," Irene looked at the trio "They already had enough. So let's call it a day for now, shall we?"

Looking at the three of them, Gildarts realized she was right. "Fine then. I'm ordering the 3 of you to go home for the day. But this isn't over yet, we'll still deal with this another day, got it?" Gildarts thought that unless they talk it out and make up with each other, their fight will just keep getting worse. Better to cut off the weed earlier on before it destroys the flower, right? At least he thinks that's how the saying goes.

"Wanna come back with us tonight, Happy?" Natsu offered.

"Aye!"

"Don't wait up for me, okay? I'll come home tomorrow." Mira isnturcted to her younger siblings.

"Got it, Mira-nee!" Lisanna responded while Elfman just smiled and gave a thumbs-up in response.

"I'm sure I don't need to tell you this anymore, but take care of nee-chan, Natsu."

"I know, I know. You say that all the time, Elfman."

"Just making sure." Elfman responded, making Natsu smile.

"Alright then, we're off!" Natsu, Mira and Happy waved their goodbyes.

Everyone watched as Irene led Erza back to Fairy Hills, while Natsu and Mira went back together with Happy.

Once both parties were out of the guild, Natsu looked at Irene holding Erza's hand.

Erza already wiped the tears away from her face, but she was still sniffling. Natsu didn't know why, but even after everything that's happened between them, he still felt uneasy seeing Erza cry. It was probably a reflex by now since he was friends with Erza since they were just kids.

Natsu stopped walking towards the direction of his home, getting Happy and Mira to stop as well and look at him questioningly.

"I forgot something. You guys can go ahead!" He said as he ran off in the other direction, after pecking Mira on the lips.

"What was that about?" Happy wondered.

Mira just smiled knowingly in the direction Natsu went.

"Tell Erza I'm also sorry!" She relayed to him.

"Waaait!" Natsu shouted out once he caught up to the scarlet-haired mother and daughter.

"Natsu?" Erza turned around to face him, nose and eyes still red from crying earlier "Weren't you going home? Your house is in the other direction."

"Yeah. I just wanted to say I'm sorry for earlier… And Mira too." Natsu breathed out, exhausted from running too fast so that he could catch up to Erza before she entered Fairy Hills (he wasn't allowed inside).

Erza's eyes sparkled "You ran all the way here just to tell me that?"

"I just figured we wouldn't wanna end things today on a sour note and make things awkward for everyone later on. So, there, we're both sorry." Natsu shyly admitted, noticing the piercing stare of both Erza and Irene.

Erza's stoic face turned to a smile in response to Natsu's apology "Apology accepted, Natsu. You know I can't stay mad at you."

"And Mira." Natsu reminded.

"Sure, her too. If that's what makes you happy." Erza continued to smile as if nothing happened between them earlier.

"Well, that's all I wanted to say. I'm going home now." Natsu didn't even wait for her response and proceeded to head in the other direction.

Seeing Erza's complete change of mood when Natsu arrived, donning a blush on her face and a bright smile, Irene just looked at Erza and Natsu's retreating form as if studying them.

"So you really do like him, after all." She realized.

...

"That fight yesterday was really intense."

"I know right, I was scared shitless! They just suddenly started shouting at each other."

"Yeah, I wanted to leave the guild so bad, but the atmosphere was so tense I didn't want to make a move."

"But still, it's quite surprising. I didn't know Erza was that lonely."

"Honestly, I can't say I didn't see it coming since most of the time, it's the serious ones who are actually hurting the most."

"Because they keep their problems to themselves?"

"Yeah, that's it!"

"But do you think they'll show up today?"

"Hmm… Maybe Mira will because she has to tend the bar, but it's still kind of a long stretch."

"I hope they make up soon. The guild won't be the same without them."

Hearing the guild's chatters, Laxus and the Raijinshuu (minus Evergreen) made their way through the guild. Just what happened while they were gone?

GAH! I don't know how this chapter would be received, but I'm sorry. I was half-asleep when writing most of this chapter, writing during the middle of the night when I got the inspiration, writing in-between school breaks, etc. It was honestly difficult to write out the dialogues for this chapter between the characters. I had to make them OOC a bit, I hope you guys understand. I had to tweak the narrative to fit the story as well. I personally liked how it turned out though…well since I was the one who wrote it hehe (cringe).

Also, sorry for the overexposition. I can't help but give insight on their actions and thoughts as I write them. I just don't want to leave any thoughts or ideas hanging, so I'm doing my best to compress it in as short a sentence as possible.

I changed the pairing to include Erza, Natsu and Mira because at this point, I don't know who I'm rooting for. I originally intended for this to be a Natsu x Erza story, but writing the Natsu and Mira somehow came more naturally, that it convinced me this is a testament to how good they can be as a couple in this fic. At the same time though, my love for NatZa is battling that feeling. The only thing I can promise for now is that this won't be a harem story though.

As I've mentioned before, I might make an alternate ending if I see the need for it. Keyword here is might. Because if everyone is happy with the original ending later on, then I see no need to make another ending, and I can consider this story resolved.

Also, the inspiration for the weird outfit that Erza bought is the picture in this site: story/5717668/Anime-x-Reader-One-Shots/118

Also, please expect my updates to be once a week at least since I'm swamped with my university requirements. My next update will probably be 2-4 weeks from now. I made the catastrophic mistake of choosing the hardest and most time-consuming courses all in one semester haha. If I'm not busy though, you can expect my updates on a weekly basis at most. See you guys in the next chapter!
