[First person POV]
[Location: Gotham City, New Jersey]
[Date / Time: Thursday , July 25th 1988, 8:30 PM]
It had been a few days since the funeral. A few more since I got what I needed from Joe chill. I had been taking the time to start setting up the batcave whilst fallowing the lead. It wasn't too easy though I had to duck the media and find a way off a private island without being caught.
Luckily for me I fired all the staff except Alfred. Sure some were already leaving but it was just in case. Plus this way not getting caught was easier and would save on costs. It wasn't easy but I had also taken the time to train my body as well. After two days I had gotten a quest for it.
[ Optional Repeatable Quest Available: Daily Workout
Task: workout for over an hour every day
Time limit: None
Reward: 5 bat points per hour of exercise]
For a total of 8 days and two hours of work each I had gotten 80 more points to play around with. But it's not enough not nearly enough. I had also come to the conclusion that I needed to spend points to make points. After all it wasn't like I could save enough for Rick level intelligence at the speed I was going currently. Still 90 points was small but useful.
So I went shopping in my system. Now I had a list of level one skills that I had bought and earned from killing Joe Chill. Engineering, perfect copy, enhanced pain tolerance, emotional suppression, tachypsychia, stamina regeneration, speed reading, and silent breathing. Then I upgraded my engineering skill which was a gamble. Still it was a gamble I won. It now allowed me to know how to create any human technology I had encountered before. What made this truly broken was when I realized it included tech from my previous life.
After all that I was left with 70 points even after that. But that wasn't too important as I still had an extensive to do list to get through.
1st Find out the history of this world?
2nd What other worlds and characters are there if any?
3rd Take back Wayne enterprises from my uncles.
4th Take out Falcone and loosen mob hold in Gotham.
5th Beat trial after Joe Chill's body is found.
6th Become youngest Olympian of all time. Without people thinking I am Robin.
7th Fix up and expand bat-cave and add work shop.
Hence why I was now sifting through a bunch of history books in my prototype bat cave. Right now it was a just a system of connected caves. I had found where the main bat-cave would be but had yet to set it up or connect it to Alfred's father's clock.
For now I just had a generator and few lights along the tunnels that led to a few rooms. Although each of these rooms had a few different things in them as well. The floors had been cleaned and sure there was still a giant colony of bats but at least no more cobwebs. Especially after he took the time to create a few roombas. I had also installed them throughout the manor. After all Alfred shouldn't be left to sweep the whole thing.
Still it wasn't like Alfred was out of a job in fact I had actually given him a raise. Although he repeatedly tried to refuse I eventually guilt tripped him into it. More importantly though I needed to start taking down the mafia. In order to do so I would need a costume.
So got started on making one I needed materials and a way to put it together. So I went into the system and found what I needed. I had purchased the knowledge of John Wick ballistic weave for 10 points. From after that all I needed was the materials to put it together.
I walked down the tunnel into one and into a new room. Like the other it had a table and chairs. More importantly it also had something I purchased the knowledge for 30 points and put together by taking apart a one of the family cars. It was a fabricator from subnautica.
Using it and the knowledge of ballistic weave I was able to print enough for a costume. Of course I had to feed it metal and cloths but that was easy enough. There was practically no material I couldn't get my hands on thanks to my wealth. So now it was only a matter of costume design.
So the plan was to make something that was easy to move in. It also needed to look like a Robin costume and hide my identity. I was thinking something more Damian Wayne Robin would be best. The hood plus a face mask would be good. Unlike in canon I wanted the bottom half of my face covered as well.
So I began to print out the materials. I needed from the fabricator. After that I called for Alfred to come over here over hand radios. He had been installing the lights around one the larger caverns. While I waited for him I began to put the weave into a cart off to the side I had been using to move things down here.
"Yes Master Bruce?" He turned the corner and walked towards me. He had a lantern in one hand and both the his sleeves were rolled up.
"I need you to go order some spray paint for the costume. Red, green, yellow, and black. Also how's the sowing machine doing? Is it up and running yet?" I turned away from my pile of materials.
"Yes Master Bruce it's up and running also I've discovered an elevator that leads into one of the larger caves. I believe it may lead out near the garden or the shed outside."
"That makes sense from what I've learned through my books the manor is atop a giant abandoned iron mine." I began to pull the wagon and head to where the sowing machine was set up. I planned on making my first workshop but right now this part of the cave was too basic for large machines. I needed to add some things to it in order to make it more useful.
"Master Bruce, if I may ask you please reconsider this." Alfred sounded somewhat desperate but that was understandable. Still I had him consider another angle.
"Why would I do that? I told you people need dramatic examples in order to snap them out of apathy. That's the only way we can get Gotham to truly change."
"I know Master Bruce but is this truly the best course of action. Perhaps there is another way?"
"Tell me this Alfred how much worse would world war 2 have been without the justice society? Without captain America and the howling Commandos? On top of that now that green lantern no longer protects Gotham who will? Crime has been on the rise for years Alfred but the death of my parents is the last straw! I will not stop until Gotham City has truly changed!" The words spilled out faster than I had mentioned them too. Mainly I had learned all these things from books and other sources. This world was weird it was like a dc world if someone randomly threw in characters. Organs like shield and hydra existed while countries like Latveria were completely missing. Plus I had already met Tony Stark before so who else would be out there? Still I didn't have time to worry about that.
"I-I understand Master Bruce my apologies. I simply ask you continue to think this over we begin this." He turned and walked out with a sigh. I grabbed my wagon full of materials and headed towards the sowing machine.

(Third Person POV)
Two days had passed since the conversation with Alfred. After Bruce had crafted the costume and made the finishing touches. After that it was a case of making the gadgets. Luckily I had been training for five hours a day. It had cut into his schedule as he had to go to state mandated therapy and other things like that. Still head made the time to train in order to get more points.
That left him with a total of 80 points. He bought some knowledge on different Batman gadgets for 5 points each. This included smoke pellets, collapsing staffs, and a laser cutter. Then there was a 10 point perches of invisible headphones. There was also a 25 point buy of a Wayne tech hand held supercomputer. Total the cost added up to 50 points then his last perches was Batman brave and the bold's grappling hook.
Other than that the new bat-cave set up was coming along well. Bruce set up its main room to be near identical to the bat-cave from Batman: Caped Crusader. Plus it had multiple tunnels into other areas. One had led further down into a larger cavern that Bruce hadn't fully explored yet. Another led out to a flooded part of the cave. The next led to another cave that looked like the one from the dark knight movies.
There were a few more that splintered off from each tunnel but those were the ones that Bruce and Alfred had explored so far. Either way it didn't matter right now because the only tunnel Bruce was using tonight led out of the caves straight to Gotham City. Using a custom motorcycle he constructed he rode all the way through and into the city. Then that night with a roar from his bike his first mob hunt began.
His costume mask and chest logo are in the character chapter. The image will also be in the comments of this paragraph.
Also please let me know if you have any suggestions for this arc going forward as it's the arc I have the least fleshed out in my head right now.
