"Get up dude! You're gonna be late" Pete wide opened his eyes like he got killed in a nightmare. He looked at the clock & it was 8:30 am already. "Shit! i'm gonna be late" "You're always dude" his roommate victor replied. "why can't you wake me up on time man" "Yeah...like i wasn't trying to, for the past 1 hour" victor replied. pete got ready quickly & got off to his company He works at a game developing company which is 40 minutes away from his apartment. Victor works in a company 20 minutes away from the apartment. Pete goes to office in his car which is a Nissan X-trail. On his way and while returning he sees a little boy who always Smiles at him & he always Smiles back. That boy is their neighbour widow marlin's Kid. Her husband died in company fire pesticide accident. Ever since she's been working at the Supermarket on shifts. Sometimes she have to work at night but most of the time her work Schedule is from 8:00 am to 7:00pm pete reached the company but he was 30 minutes late He Sneaked into his cabin but his boss already Saw him. "Mr. peter Frankson!" He called him out with a tone of anger. "Hey... Eugene. I'm. Sorry man I got flat tyres on my way...." He tried to get an excuse from eugene." Pete!! don't want you to enter the company past 9:00 abright?" Eugene told him and left to his Cabin "Flat tyres. huh?" Jeena asked him with a Smirk."You know... Sleep!" pete Said with an embarassment in his face. "By the way you look good as usual, I mean- you look good -every day & that's- uhmm....that's a good thing" pete stammered "well thank you pete!" Jeena replied with a Smile pete have a crush on jeena ever since she Joined the company but he didn't had the confidence to confess to her. They both got back to work. It was raining so hard while his way back to the apartment. He saw the kid standing outside the kid's House's gate, which is his usual spot with an umbrella. He was enjoying the rain. "Kids!!!" Pete sighed with a little smile. The kid waved at him with a smile, he waved back and made sure the kid saw his wave in the rain. Victor was already in the room when pete got there. He always does. "Hey... Boss fired you?" Victor asked pete with a laugh. "Not yet.... Not yet" Pete sighed."Hey man... Did you heard about that old man in town? "Victor asked him. " Which old man? "Pete asked him with a minimum interest in his tone. " There's this old guy who came out of nowhere states that he is some Richard Williams's son who went missing when he was 9. Well it turns out there was really a Richard Williams and of course his son went missing at a young age." Victor told him. "Well... Then he might be that kid, what's the big deal with that?" Pete asked him."But the people around says that the police found the kid's deadbody 2 months after he went missing "Victor replied. " Oh... Then he might be some crazy old man.. Hey!! Why are even talking about this at the first place dude? "Pete asked Victor and his tone sounded like. He don't wanna hear about it anymore." I'm already so fucking exhausted... So just let me sleep"Pete told victor. "Yeah dude alright... I'll let you sleep but there's one more thing.... The police took the old man and did some. Investigation and it turns out... The kid who went missing and the old man have the exactly same birthmarks... I mean exactly same... Dude... How fucked up is that huh?" Victor told Pete. "Same birthmarks? Like all of them?" Pete asked him with a confused tone. "Yeah man... Everyone in the town's talking about him.. He is still in the police station." Victor told him. "Well.. That's pretty fucked up.. The police are gonna have a real hard time finding out who the old guy is.. I guess" Pete told Victor. "What's his name vick?" Pete asked Victor. "Uhmm.. Something like jonathan i guess.... Yeah Jonathan Williams it is" Victor replied. Pete nodded for Victor's reply and then they both went to sleep. They got up on time the next day.. Which is a strange thing to happen for Peter."hmmm... That's strange... I woke up time? " Pete asked himself. He got ready and went off to office, on his way he saw the kid and they both smiled at each other. Pete slowed down his car "hey buddy" Said to the kid and then went off. On his way his 2 tyres in the back got punctured. "Oh I'll be fucked!! " Pete said while looking at the tyres. He arranged to take his car to the workshop and went to office in a cab but he still got late today also... He sneaked inside his cabin as usual and his boss caught him. "Eugene I'm really sorry... I promise u this won't happen again" Pete apologized to eugene. "It's ok man... No worries" Eugene replied and went to his cabin. "That's fucking random coming from Eugene" Pete told himself and got back to work. Jeena waved at him from her cabin, he waved back. "Aahhh... What a strange day"Pete sighed. It was raining that evening also while he was returning and on his way he looked for the kid on his spot but he wasn't there."Hmmm.... That's strange" Pete told himself and after reaching his apartment we went to his room and Victor was watching TV and suddenly got excited on seeing Pete.. "Hey man did you heard that the old man is actually the kid who went missing?" Victor said him. "What? How is tha-man you told me they got the kid's body after 2 months" Pete asked him. "Yeah man but guess what the kids finger print before he went missing and this old mans finger print is 100% matching." Victor told him. "Vick... That's fucked up!! " Pete told him. "Oh.. And a kid in the neighborhood went missing dude... " Victor told him. "Huh? Which kid? " Pete asked him like he want an answer quick. "You know...the guy who died in a factory accident... His kid, her mom works in Daniels supermarket too" Victor told him.
