In the Police Station,
"This won't take long, Miss Tori. Please, have a seat." The officer gestured to a metallic chair at the table. Tori smiled politely as she sat, crossing her legs and laying her palms face-down on the table. "Can you describe how the man was? His physical features, probably body height and face too."
"I couldn't see his face, as he was dressed heavily in black, and his face was covered. There were two men—one was after the old woman, and the other was the one I shot."
The police shook his head, scribbling some notes on the tablet in front of him.
"What else can you say about him? Or the gang?" he pressed, prompting Tori to recall the disturbing event. Though Tori was familiar with criminals using self-poisoning to evade capture, this was new.
She glanced at her purple-stained right palm.
"After I shot him and caught him, he poisoned himself and started spewing a purple substance before dying."
