As much as she wanted to trust Lucian, Nehna couldn't help but heave a sigh, steadying her head as the Eleanore crown was placed on her head. This was going to be the first time she stepped into the spotlight after many years of being sick.
In fact, she didn't want to, but it was tradition to attend the annual auction ceremony which will be hosted by her friend's family, the Martins.
"Old Madam, you look beautiful just like the days you were in command. I will take my leave." The girl behind Nehna spoke, packing up her tools into a small brown mini box and headed for the exit. Once gone, Nehna exhaled, her head resting on her wrist.
Lucian instantly noticed the mood change and asked.
"Are you feeling alright? You don't have to attend…I am already going there on your behalf. You just woke up from long coma, and the doctor said you can't move too much, have a rest." He towered over her, lending a hand to her to help her up.
