After many days, Allen once again experienced the feeling of a school bell ringing in his head. Fortunately, this time he didn't fall onto the stinking corpse of a monster.

The Witcher apprentice opened his eyes and saw Vesemir looking at him with a worried expression. In a daze, Allen suddenly realized that he had only been in this world for about ten days. With daily fighting and the threat of death looming over him, he felt as though he had been struggling to survive in the Witcher world for years.

"Allen, are you okay?" Vesemir gently patted his shoulder.

The Witcher apprentice shook his head and stood up.

"Don't worry, Master Vesemir, I'm fine."

Vesemir hesitated for a few seconds, then said suddenly: "The experimental records related to the Witcher's Eye are all with Lady Vera."

"Although I haven't read those records, such powerful abilities often come with severe consequences."

"In the future, if you can avoid using it, do so."

Allen heard the concern in Vesemir's voice, felt a warmth in his heart, and nodded: "Don't worry, Master Vesemir, I understand."

Vesemir nodded, turned to look at the massive corpse of the Drowner King, and sighed: "Allen, perhaps I can now call you a Master Witcher."

The Witcher apprentice also followed Vesemir's gaze. Even in death, the oppressive aura around the Drowner King hadn't dissipated. The headless corpse lay there like a small blue mountain. As he walked towards the Drowner King, Allen felt the air around him slowly start to thicken.

Feeling the increasing pressure, Allen couldn't help but sigh: "Chaos magic truly favors monsters!"

"Not all monsters are so favored," Vesemir paused, then added, "Among the large monsters I've encountered, only a handful have been so favored."

Before Allen could speak, Vesemir looked seriously into his eyes and continued: "Allen, perhaps you haven't realized it yet, but this is a miracle."

"There are Master Witchers in this world who can hunt dragons and higher vampires, but never before has there been a Witcher apprentice who could be considered a master without completing all the trials."

Hearing Vesemir's sigh, Allen humbly replied: "I don't deserve to be called a master; it was all thanks to your..."

"No need to be humble, Allen," Vesemir interrupted. "I know very well my role in this battle. Without your final strike, I would have surely lost before sunset."

The honor of hunting monsters is crucial for Witchers. This large monster was not killed by Vesemir, and no matter how strong the monster was, Vesemir wouldn't falsely claim credit. Seeing this, Allen didn't want to argue with Vesemir over this matter.

He looked at the massive pile of flesh in front of him and changed the subject: "Master Vesemir, what should we do with this monster?"

"I've never seen this kind of monster before," Vesemir said, looking troubled. "Should we take it all back?"

Hearing this, Allen looked blankly at the corpse that looked like a mountain of flesh and muttered: "Take it all back?"

"How?"

...

About half an hour later.

Allen was holding the head of the Drowner King, following behind the Witcher Master. Vesemir's large shadow, cast by the Drowner King's corpse, enveloped a large area around the Witcher apprentice.

Completely covered by the shadow, Allen still found it hard to believe. On one hand, it was because Vesemir had effortlessly lifted a corpse that weighed at least a ton. On the other hand, he was curious.

What kind of monster could kill such a powerful Witcher with a pitchfork?

Although that afternoon, Allen and Vesemir had both escaped the pursuit of the Drowner horde and completed the incredible feat of killing the large monster, the Drowner King, neither of these tasks had actually took much time.

When they returned to Kaer Morhen, it was around three or four in the afternoon.

The winter sun, though red, wasn't glaring, casting large shadows on the ancient fortress. At this time, there weren't many people in Kaer Morhen. With the Witchers' constitution, a feast that started at noon usually was just reaching its peak in the afternoon. So when the two of them stepped through the castle gates, they didn't attract much attention. But once people started watching, their gaze never left them.

Curious, shocked, noisy...

The commotion drew in more curious Witchers. It wasn't until one of Vesemir's old friends squeezed through the crowd that it quieted down.

"Vesemir, what the hell is this thing? Weren't you taking our Drowner Slayer to kill drowners?"

The Witcher, Danthe, was holding a jug of wine, the smell of alcohol strong as he spoke.

"Show some respect. Now you should address Allen as a Witcher Master." Vesemir's muffled voice came from beneath the corpse.

"What?"

Danthe touched his face, thinking he had misheard.

"Boom!"

Vesemir threw the corpse to the ground and said loudly: "I said, you should now address Allen as a Witcher Master."

Seeing the puzzled looks on the surrounding Witchers, Vesemir sighed and added: "This large monster was killed by Allen."

"Crack."

Witcher Danthe was so shocked that he crushed the wine jug in his hand, the clear aroma of the wine spreading instantly. The surrounding Witchers fell silent for a few seconds, then the noise erupted throughout Kaer Morhen.

Most Witchers knew Vesemir's character. Like the chief, he was a man who valued honor and would never lie about the ownership of a kill. From the size of this unknown monster, it was clear that this was a genuine large monster. Moreover, the more experienced Witchers could tell from the oppressive aura emanating from the corpse that this monster, even among large monsters, was not of the lowest rank.

But.

How was this possible?

Since when could a Witcher apprentice hunt large monsters?

This was too fantastical!

Danthe opened his mouth, his gaze shifting to the Witcher apprentice hiding behind the Drowner King's head.

"Allen... how did you do it?"

"Witcher's Eye, Danthe. Allen has the Witcher's Eye."

"He is a born Witcher!"
