Chapter 19 - Chapter 19: Grace Wang

Early in the morning, a pure white Porsche Cayenne pulled up at the entrance of H University.

The car door opened, revealing a pair of jade-like legs. A tall girl stepped out, wearing pristine white jeans, a sleek, minimalist jacket, and a bright red casual shirt that was eye-catching to the point of causing a stir.

Her smooth hair flowed freely over her shoulders, complementing her perfect figure. Her legs were so long and slender that even runway models would envy her.

The girl wore burgundy sunglasses, obscuring her eyes, yet her beauty was still breathtaking.

As she appeared, the university guards, students, and passersby all turned their heads to look.

She strode into H University, her long legs and casual gait drawing the eyes of students on their way to morning classes. Some boys even forgot to eat their breakfast. It wasn't just the boys; even the female students couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy upon seeing this model-like beauty.

"Oh my gosh, who is that woman? She looks so elegant!"

"Does our school have such a stunning beauty?"

"Especially those legs, so long!"

A group of freshmen gulped, one leg enthusiast staring at her tight legs with his pants bulging.

"You guys want to get killed? Don't talk nonsense," an upperclassman quietly reprimanded.

"Senior, do you know her? Introduce us! She's too gorgeous."

"Of course I know her," the senior said smugly, enjoying their awe. "That's the legendary number one beauty of H University—Grace Wang!"

"Grace Wang? Just hearing her name makes my blood boil."

"Idiot, Grace Wang is the president of the student council. You better be careful."

Hearing that she was the student council president, the freshmen fell silent. Even though it was only the first week of school, they were aware of the prestige of H University, one of the world's top ten universities, teeming with influential and wealthy people. To become the student council president, one had to be formidable in every aspect.

But some still couldn't help but think: Marrying a woman like her would be worth losing fifty years of their life.

Grace Wang headed straight for the tall clock tower, an Oriental-style building that was a unique landmark of the university and the home of the student council.

"Good morning, President."

"Good morning, President!"

Early as it was, many students were already busy in the student council. Seeing Grace walk in, they greeted her with respect.

Grace nodded in acknowledgment.

Once her figure disappeared, they reluctantly turned back to their work.

Entering the president's office, Grace sat on a leather sofa and closed her eyes for a moment of rest.

"You're finally here, Grace. It's been a week since school started," a girl in a green dress entered, showing off her jade-like feet. She had delicate features, not exactly stunning but possessing a gentle beauty akin to that of a Jiangnan maiden, with a touch of classical charm in her every expression.

Her name matched her gentle aura: Emma Shen.

Emma was the student council secretary but acted more like Grace's talkative assistant, a role she enjoyed since she idolized Grace.

Grace removed her sunglasses, revealing a face that could only be described as breathtakingly beautiful, as if the word "gorgeous" had been coined just for her.

Grace opened the university newspaper on her desk. Though she didn't like reading it, it was a good way to stay informed about campus events.

The first headline she saw was about a freshman being wildly kissed.

"Emma, what's this about?"

"Oh," Emma nodded, "I was just about to discuss it with you." She flipped open the day's schedule and smiled gracefully. "The first item is what you just saw. Senior Leon Chen's wild kiss of a freshman has had a negative impact on the campus atmosphere. Such behavior shouldn't be encouraged. The student council is considering disciplinary action."

"Handle it as you see fit," Grace said, her eyes devoid of emotion as she glanced at the paper. "What about the freshman? She looks quite innocent."

"We're looking into it," Emma nodded. This was also a reason they were considering punishing Leon. Kissing such a pure-looking girl was outrageous.

"There's another matter," Emma continued. "The school is planning a welcome party for the freshmen. Last year's host has graduated, leaving a vacancy."

"Finding a host is the entertainment department's job," Grace said, still flipping through the paper. She paused at an article about the hacker battle on campus, a small note about it making her smile. Even a brief mention conveyed the intensity of the event.

"The principal has recommended someone," Emma said thoughtfully.

"The principal's recommendation?" Grace was puzzled. The principal seldom made recommendations.

"Who is it? Some heir from a prestigious family? A billionaire's son or a genius from the mountains?" Grace laughed mockingly.

"No," Emma was used to Grace's disdain for the elite. She smiled and pointed to a picture in the newspaper—Leon Chen.

Grace was taken aback.

"Isn't he the one who just caused a scandal? Why would the principal choose him?"

Emma smiled, "I knew you'd be surprised. The principal's reason was the powerful and penetrating voice he demonstrated during the hacker battle."

So it was him!

Grace nodded. "Have him come to the student council. I want to meet him personally!"

Emma's mouth dropped open. She couldn't recall Grace ever wanting to meet someone personally.

"Hurry up, Emma. Classes are about to start." Grace smiled gently.

Emma nodded and left the office.

As soon as Emma left, Grace rubbed her temples and opened her laptop, murmuring, "XO, who are you?"

"Wow, big news!" Michael Fang burst into the dorm, yelling excitedly.

"What news?"

"Grace Wang, the number one beauty at H University, is back!" Michael exclaimed. "She's stunning."

John Wu and Daniel Zhang scoffed, "We've known for a while. The moment her white Porsche pulled up at the gate, the news spread across all departments."

Michael sighed, "The number one beauty at H University truly lives up to her reputation. Just talking to her would be worth dying for."

"Get real, she's way out of our league," Daniel laughed. "Right, little bro, with the number one freshman beauty as your girlfriend?"

Leon gave him a weak glare.

"Little bro, you slept all night, so why do you still look so exhausted?" John patted Leon's shoulder.

Leon sighed, feeling frustrated.

The price of using Iron Will was no joke.
