Chapter 133 - Chapter 133: The Unexpected Visitor

The night in Vimana was unusually quiet, the stars twinkling brightly against the velvet sky. Kalki, Leela, Ravi, Nisha, and their new ally Rajan, sat around a wooden table in the inn, poring over maps and discussing their next steps. The air was thick with anticipation and the promise of imminent action.

"According to these maps," Rajan pointed to several marked locations, "Kali's main stronghold is heavily fortified. We need to find a way to disrupt his plans from within."

Kalki nodded, deep in thought. "We need a diversion, something that will draw his attention away from us long enough to strike at his weak points."

Before anyone could respond, there was a sudden, urgent knock on the door. The group tensed, hands moving instinctively to their weapons. Gaurav, the innkeeper, entered, looking visibly shaken.

"There's someone here to see you," Gaurav said, his voice trembling. "He says he has important information, but he refuses to come inside."

Kalki exchanged a glance with his companions before nodding. "Bring him to the courtyard. We'll meet him there."

They moved swiftly, exiting the inn and making their way to the dimly lit courtyard. Standing there was a cloaked figure, his face obscured by shadows. The figure removed his hood, revealing a young man with piercing eyes and a determined expression.

"My name is Arjun," the young man said, his voice steady despite the tension in the air. "I come with a warning."

Kalki stepped forward, his curiosity piqued. "What is it you need to tell us, Arjun?"

Arjun took a deep breath. "There's a traitor among you."

The words hung in the air, heavy and ominous. The group exchanged wary glances, each of them processing the sudden accusation.

"What proof do you have of this?" Nisha demanded, her eyes narrowing as she scrutinized Arjun.

Arjun reached into his cloak and pulled out a small, intricately designed medallion. "This was found near one of Kali's informants. It's a symbol used by those loyal to Kali, a mark of their allegiance."

Kalki took the medallion, examining it closely. "How do we know you're not the traitor, trying to sow discord among us?"

Arjun met his gaze unflinchingly. "Because I risked my life to bring this information to you. I've seen the devastation Kali has wrought. I have no reason to side with him."

Ravi, always the voice of reason, spoke up. "If what Arjun says is true, we need to be cautious. Trust is our greatest weapon, but it can also be our greatest vulnerability."

Leela nodded in agreement. "We should all keep a watchful eye, but not let paranoia divide us."

As the group debated their next steps, a sudden explosion rocked the courtyard, sending debris flying and knocking them off their feet. They scrambled to their feet, weapons drawn, as figures clad in dark robes emerged from the shadows.

"An ambush!" Rajan shouted, drawing his sword.

Kalki and his companions sprang into action, engaging the attackers in a fierce battle. The night was filled with the clash of steel and the cries of combat. Despite being outnumbered, Kalki's group fought valiantly, their determination unwavering.

Amidst the chaos, Kalki caught sight of Arjun fighting alongside them, his skill with a blade evident. The young man moved with a purpose, his strikes precise and deadly. It was clear he was no ordinary informant.

After what felt like an eternity, the last of the attackers were subdued. Breathing heavily, Kalki and his companions regrouped, assessing their injuries.

"Is everyone alright?" Kalki asked, concern etched on his face.

"We're fine," Leela replied, wiping sweat from her brow. "But this attack was too coordinated to be a coincidence."

Rajan nodded. "They knew exactly where to find us. Someone must have tipped them off."

Arjun stepped forward, his expression resolute. "I told you there's a traitor among you. We need to find out who it is before it's too late."

Kalki looked at his companions, a sense of urgency in his eyes. "We can't let this divide us. We need to stay united and find out the truth. But first, we need to secure a new location. It's not safe here anymore."
