("The prophecy of the Blue-eyed boy has changed…this world is in great danger…Call for Jiraya-boy NOW!!!")
"Drip…drip….drip…drip."
"Ribbit, chirp, chirp, chirp ribbit, chirp."
*Crunch*
The sounds of scribbling and scrunched-up paper reverberated through the dimly lit room. An extremely young child was seemingly scribbling in his scroll.
Throwing away yet another piece of paper Jason sighed before looking at the clock and getting back to writing.
"It's been about a little over a year since I reincarnated into this world and boy, have I lived the most interesting year of my life." Tapping his brush into ink Jason continued writing.
"To start the world I've been reincarnated into…Naruto."
Jason's initial excitement at being reincarnated died as he realized his new life's grim reality. Contrary to popular belief, the world of Naruto wasn't one for the faint of heart. The slightly light-hearted perspective Kishimoto wrote the world around was through the Naruto perspective and the popular shonen format.
In reality, (now Jason's reality) The world of Naruto was one full of the darkest of horrors. And navigating around that to reach his ultimate goal was going to be a herculean task. Especially because of exactly where and when in Naruto he'd been reincarnated.
The Rain Village, or (Amegakure) was one of the most obscure lands of Naruto. Very little is known about the village's people, culture, inner workings, and leader, at first glance the only thing separating it from the other notable villages was the excessive rain that seemed to never end.
But there's much more to this land than meets the eye. For Instance one of the big threats in the story and the main villain group Naruto fought against the 'Akatsuki' originated and eventually built their base here in the Rain Village. 'Pain" one of the strongest characters in the entire show ruled the Rain Village for a time.
On top of all that from what Jason could remember, the land in which the Rain Village resided in was used as a battlefield for the grand "Great Ninja Wars." And this is where Jason's problems began, because one of those 'Great Ninja Wars' was currently raging on and it had been raging on for years, with his reincarnated family having great involvement with the outcome.
Speaking of his new family, Jason had come to know them very well. Jason had come to understand that he'd been reborn into ninja royalty.
'The Great Hatori Clan," was one the greatest and most influential clans in the Rain Village their status reaching and even exceeding royalty. Jason remembered minuted after his birth being named and annexed into the Hatori clan by his father, who himself was the apparent clan leader/patriarch, "Samahige Hatori."
Jason's new name "Hanarai Fuma Hatori" rang a few bells. Based on his father's last name Jason concluded that his middle came from his mother, "Saijin Fuma." Jason had remembered hearing the name Fuma before while exploring YouTube during his break at work. From what he could remember Fuma was the name of a clan that held close ties to the Uchiha clan. Jason couldn't remember any of them having awakened the Sharingan though which left him incredibly disappointed.
"So close yet so far."
The identity of his new grandfather had helped Jason understand the time at which he had been reborn. The father of "Samahige Hatori," and the leader of the rain village "Hanzo Hatori." Jason only knew of one Hanzo who resided in the rain village. Jason remembered the infamous scene where Hanzo had given 'Jiraya'' 'Tsunade', and 'Orochimaru' their title of "Legendary Sanin."
Jason remembered Hanzo being a mysterious figure for a majority of the series, not much was truly known about that man leaving Jason to guess what kind of man he was. Regardless of being blood related to the man now Jason had never seen the man in person ever just paintings, whispers, and people singing his praises.
Jason had heard the man a couple of times, talking to his father on the other side of the wall late at night whenever they thought he was asleep, when in reality he was performing the leaf exercise. The conversations they had, told Jason all he needed to hear pinpointing when in time he was.
"The Second Great Ninja War," was raging in all it's glory, just about hitting it's climax. Every day he'd hear whispers of the war getting even more violent and brutal than the last.
The Second Great Ninja War was probably the second biggest event in ninja history. Specifically for Rain Village, it was the start of it's great change. For once the land of which the ninja used as a battlefield fought back instead, and Jiraya would adopt the three rain village orphans that'd change the world.
Jason wasn't stupid he knew that to reach his goal the one thing he would need most is strength. His current position as royalty in a ninja village was a great head start after all he could have been born a civilian orphan or something and would've utterly fucked his chances of survival. But his new advantage came at a cost. In exchange, that window of opportunity wasn't going to last long because of what Nagato would later do.
"Pain," was going to be the future leader of the rain village, and for pain to be born, the death of Yahiko was mandatory. One of the perpetrators of Yahiko's death was unfortunately Hanzo. Jason knew that with the help of Obito and Zetsu, Nagato would eventually come for revenge and from what he could remember murder every last blood descendant of Hanzo, him included.
Jason cursed the heavens for days once he put that together, but after calming down he started brainstorming. Either he would try and give himself more time by stopping Yahiko's death and further reap the benefits and opportunities that came with being royalty in a strong village like the rain, or he'd become the ultimate prodigy, rising through the ranks and learning everything he could before Yahiko's death and fleeing Amegakure before Pain could destroy him.
Both plans had their downsides, Plan A got rid of probably his biggest advantage in this world and that's his knowledge of the future. Saving Yahiko would change the future so much to the point where he'd not be able to tell left from right. On top of the big players that took part or were in contact with Yahiko when he died. People like Danzo, Obito, and Zetsu would wipe him from the face of the planet if they were to ever find about his involvement. On top of it not being a great idea to be on their radar that early. Yahiko, Konan, and Nagato were mid to late teenagers when they went through their traumating situation leaving an eight to twelve-year window for Jason to get as strong as possible.
Plan B's downside was the fact that he'd lose all the advantages of being supported by a powerful clan and further learning everything they'd have to offer, on top of not having anywhere to go once fleeing the rain.
What decision would Jason make? Not even he knew. Although for now, time was on his side and he'd need to get stronger quickly Whether he'd save Yahiko or flee the rain didn't matter in the end if he didn't have the strength to do either.
"Done." Jason stopped writing as he looked at his work on the scroll. Hearing some footsteps pass by the door Jason looked at the clock and grinned.
"I've been waiting for this day." Jason then proceeded to get up crawling out of the baby hammock quietly climbing out of the baby hammock and heading towards the door.
In the first six months of his life, Jason had a lot of time with his father as he'd not been called to the battlefield yet. Jason had spent a significant amount of hanging out with his father in his office. The officer had a built library that he'd use to entertain Jason reading tales of hero's, demon's, monsters, and the history of the rain.
Opening the door Jason made his way down the hall. "Please let this work." Thought Jason as he scurried around the corner.
The stories weren't the only thing in the library, though, as scrolls of ninja basics, ninjutsu, genjutsu, taijutsu, etc., as his father had boasted about residing in the library. And that's what Jason's after.
After his father's departure to the battlefield, the man periodically came home and when he did, he stopped reading stories to him for some reason. Jason had tried to sneak into the library and drink from its well of knowledge but his Aunt Eisuke always was in there working during the daytime and she'd had to catch him every time.
At night the clan's bodyguards patrolled the compounds Eisuke would leave the library leaving it open for Jason's use, and this was what he'd been counting on.
Turning left in a short and narrow hallway Jason slowed down nearing a door at the end of the hall.
"BINGO" Jason pumped his little hand in excitement
"Everything Went Just As Planned."
