"Isn't she beautiful?" Warren said to Mike in a low voice with a mischievous smile, noticing Mike's gaze fixed on the girl.
However, Mike shook his head.
Warren was taken aback. "Isn't she beautiful?"
Mike grinned and said, "Don't you think calling her 'beautiful' seems a bit... lacking?"
"Now that you mention it, you're right!" Warren nodded after taking another look.
Because the other female students behind that girl were also very beautiful, but in comparison, calling her just "beautiful" did not seem enough to describe her.
"Who is she?" Mike asked.
"Hilda Kail!" Warren immediately answered.
"She's a rising star at Heidis Magic Academy!"
"She enrolled a year ago and is now a second year, but don't underestimate her!"
"She was elected as the student council president of Heidis in just one year!"
"That impressive, huh?" Mike asked.
"Of course it is!" Warren said enthusiastically. "You need real ability to sit in that position at a magic academy, and that's within the imperial system!"
"And she's a genius in both martial arts and magic, not even twenty years old but already a Platinum-ranked expert, even stronger than the captain!"
Geoff coughed beside them, his face darkening.
Warren chuckled sheepishly, then continued.
"In short, she's a favored daughter of heaven, an almost perfect existence!"
"She even has a title, the 'Swan Sword Maiden'."
"If you're her enemy, the snowflakes you see may not be real snow, but the sword edges she's cut down."
"And..." Warren leaned in closer to Mike, speaking mysteriously, "I heard her background is no small matter, even the prince of the Zailas Kingdom has to bow his head before her!"
"In that case..." Mike mused, stroking his chin, "She must be hard to pursue, huh?"
Everyone around them stared at Mike as if he were an idiot.
"Shh-" Warren quickly stopped Mike from saying more, flashing a smile at the other students who had overheard.
"He's new, don't mind him..." Warren said, as he and his brother Walter hurriedly pushed Mike away from the crowd.
"Why can't I say that?" Mike asked.
Warren shook his head. "Dude, just call me 'big bro', don't say stuff like that here!"
"I know Hilda is beautiful, and everyone likes her, but you can't be so... blunt about it!"
"If the student council people hear this, we might not make it out of the campus in one piece!"
"Whoa, that's scary," Mike chuckled and nodded. "Alright, I won't say anything. Don't stress."
Warren and Walter were speechless. How could Mike be so unbothered?
"Big bro, are you going to pursue her?" Walter asked nervously.
"I was just joking around," Mike waved his hand, turning to head towards the library.
Hearing this, Warren, Walter, and Geoff all let out a sigh of relief.
But the next moment, they heard Mike say,
"If I were to be pursued, it would be her pursuing me. I'm a man she can't easily obtain."
Everyone was stunned. This guy, who looked like a simple, honest person, how could he be so arrogant? This was beyond self-confidence - it was pure narcissism.
The group followed Mike with exhausted expressions, except for Qiqi, who giggled happily. She found Mike's self-assured, almost narcissistic confidence very attractive. Because strong confidence is a quality that a powerful person must possess.
And this wasn't limited to just the cat-people girls - they all admired strength.
Arriving at the library entrance, they could see many students leaving in groups, as classes had just ended.
Mike soon spotted the buyer - a woman in her late twenties, with long blue hair, a beautiful face, and an impressive figure. She was also wearing gold-rimmed glasses, exuding a mature charm.
"Professor Holland, the potions you ordered have been delivered to the unloading area of the academy," Geoff, who was familiar with Holland, said smoothly.
Holland, who had purchased magical potions from the potion shop many times before, with Geoff regularly accompanying the deliveries, smiled and nodded. She glanced briefly at Mike, whose physique was quite eye-catching.
However, she didn't pay him much attention.
It was then that Geoff spoke up with an apologetic tone, "But... there was a problem this time, some of the goods were damaged..."
Holland's brow furrowed slightly as she asked, "How much was damaged?"
"Thirty bottles of low-level potions, and... ten bottles of mid-level potions," Geoff said, glancing at Mike.
Mike, meanwhile, was standing with his hands on his hips, admiring the beautiful campus scenery.
It seemed that when Holland heard this, she let out a relieved sigh.
This time, she had ordered five hundred bottles of low-level magic potions and fifty bottles of mid-level magic potions, all of which were for experiments and potion improvements.
When she heard about the damage, her heart skipped a beat.
The academy had a potion-related experiment project that required results in a short period, otherwise, the academy wouldn't approve the experimental funding, which would be a big problem for her.
Luckily, only forty bottles were lost, which was acceptable.
But this still left Holland somewhat unhappy.
The charming female instructor leaned against the doorframe, her red lips pursed slightly as she shook her head and said, "This won't do, these potions are very important to me, and I'm one of your regular customers..."
She didn't finish her sentence, clearly waiting for Geoff to speak up.
Geoff quickly said, "Don't worry, we will compensate you, whatever the loss, we will make it up to you!"
Hearing this, Holland nodded satisfactorily, "Then make up for it, and bring it to me as soon as possible."
"Okay! Thank you very much!" Geoff immediately replied, visibly relieved.
He didn't try to make any excuses, as safely delivering the goods to the buyer was his main task. What happened in between didn't matter - the buyer only cared about the result.
Afterward, Holland followed the group to the unloading area, as she needed to inspect the goods and provide unloading services.
While Geoff and the others were laboriously unloading, Mike was leisurely leaning to the side, seemingly not intending to participate in the unloading. He had already done the important task, leaving the trivial matters to Geoff and the others.
After most of the potions had been unloaded, Mike suddenly remembered something and went to the back of the third wagon, taking a burlap sack from the carriage.
The sack was quite large, about as tall as a person, and it was bulging and stained with fresh blood on the surface, giving off a pungent odor that attracted flies.
This made Holland, who was supervising the unloading, frown and cover her nose and mouth, asking, "What is that?"
She certainly didn't want her potions to be contaminated by whatever was in that sack. If that happened, she would demand a replacement.
"Oh, that's werewolf corpse parts," Mike casually replied.
He was planning to go to the market in Gorilla City later to see if he could sell them. The prices should be higher there than in Seadot.
But when Holland heard the words "werewolf", her eyes widened.
"Wait a minute!" she exclaimed.
