clothing to you're liking, Mr. Cain?"
"Yes, sir vendor of the clothing shop. This will suffice."
Cain handed the shop handler about 5 gold coins, buying the clothes he is currently wearing. A black priest robe with a light grey cloak to complete the outfit.
Cain left the shop, fully paying the clerk in gold coins, about 5 of them. Cain thought a priest robe should allow him to blend in as a supposed believer of the God of Preservation and not the Goddess of Death.
"Please do not be angry, mother. This disguise is only temporary."
"..."
"Why the Perservation? Well, as much as I hate to admit, they are more looked up upon than every group upon this world, even the believers of the Goddess of Knowledge." Cain said.
Everyone who was near him, all heard his mumbles. Making jokes at how he must one of the Preservation believers, and he vowed to the God of Preservation to preserve the idiot mumbles of humanity.
"Are you angry for me, mother? Awww...how sweet. Don't worry. These...heathens will get what's coming to them. After all...death is always at their door at any time."

In another city. Inside the church, this was dubbed the main headquarters of the believers of Preservation. Inside were mant known figures of the world. One such was a black haired woman, dressed in an all white military uniform.
She dawned a variety of medals. Each representing a battle she won, and one medal that represented her devotion to the God of Preservation.
"...It's quiet here. Has he gone our again?" She said.
"I'm afraid so, Lucy. Our little...intern believer has gone out in pursuit of knowledge again." A soothing male voice said.
Then, a man entered in. His hair was as green as grass as his robe was all white, but around his neck was a white scarf as his hands, dawning fingerless gloves were juggling a coin through each finger.
"Indeed he has, Alheim. The church is unlively without him around." Lucy said, noticing the quietness.
"Do you miss him antics, Lucy?" Alheim asked, curious about her feelings towards their other member.
"Mixed. His such a peculiar man. A man who rejects the God of Preservation but is not only eligible, but is wanted by the god itself." Lucy answered.
"Yes. To think the Gods themselves sent a message to us directlt through visions. He may be the hero of this generation..."
"...After all...he self-proclaimed a vow. A vow to Preserve the future of humanity." Alheim finished.
"Such a dangerous task...but...I'm sure Nikola can do it. His eccentric...is something else."
"Hehehe...that indeed."

Back to the previous city, Cain can be seen walking through the streets, all alone, thinking of a way to gain more abilities and please the Goddess of Death.
Cain knew that his mother can be pleased with certain energy. Energy only given by relics, in which he can sell via a non-organice sacrifice. Giving up the magic within the relic and offer it up to his mother, making the relic a usual, common item.
Though, relics are quite rare, and going on a killing spree is non-ethical, but to Cain, it was just not professional. To him, death must be deserved to the individual. Their sins and souls reveal the truth and will decide how they will die.
"If I do this, mother. What would you grant me this time? A new ability? A summon? Or a companion?"
However, at the mention of wanting a companion, as if something or someone did it, Cain's head began to hurt as if somethint, adjacent to a karate chop had hit the back of his head. Cain rubs the hit area as he laughed softly.
"Hehehehe~ Sorry for upsetting you, mother. No need to feel jealous over a new companion with me."
The people all look at Cain with disdain, confusion and disgust. They all think his a crazy patient who got out, talking to himselr as if he was talking his mother. But Cain just ignores them as if they weren't even existinf around him.
'Now...let's see where the adventurers guild is at.' Cain took a look around the central of the city.
Many stores were present in the center of town where a fountain was present. There was a weaponry, where pre-made weapons were sold, a blacksmith, where you can have a weapon made with specifications to you're liking, a armory shop, which is self-explanatory, and then lastly a magic shop where potions, ingredients and low-level artifacts were sold.
But Cain paid them no mind. What he wanted was the adventurers guild, where he can gain some work via completing some quests. Of course, he still had to register for it since he was killed before even registering.
'Hmm...the central is quite large...maybe...There!' Cain's eyes locked on to a building.
It was this town's adventurers guild. Many individuals exited the guild, holding weaponry and armor. All with sigils and badges to signify the god they worship. Cain sighed of relief to finally found one. This world is like one from famous comic books, unlike his old world.
Cain approached and entered the guild through the front door. It was also a bar from the front for adventurers and none-adventurers alike, fully open to all of the citizens.
Of course, Cain noticed that there were 2 floors, The ground was where adventurers were for easy access to the exit to go expedition and the 2nd floor was for citizens to enjoy, with the ground floor counter built for both being a bar to the right and a adventurers guild counter to the left.
Seeing this, Cain approached the counter to the left in order to register for the guild and become an adventurer. He arrived there to be greeted by the employee. An elf who wore a maid uniform of green and white as her ears were sticking out, and blonde hair that reached the back of where here chest area is.
"Hello. Are you here to register as an adventurer?" She asked as Cain nodded.
"Yes please. Is there any requirments?" Cain asked.
"There is. Just please fill out this form." She handed Cain a sort of contract.
Cain began to read it. It wanted his info. His name, date of birth, age, and...class type. He thought of putting on Swordsman, Marksman, Archer, Paladin or other badass types but...he knew what he was...a cleric.
'...This is gonna be a hassle, huh mother?'
