Later on, Bakugo got saved by Deku from the attack of the slime villain. That time again he was hit with the inferior feeling of being weak. He then chose to disregard everything about Deku and focus on UA entrance exam.
And he got in at first place easily without any competition as well. But when he saw the list and found out that Deku was third. It shocked him again deeply. It made him angry and scared in a way as well. He thought after getting into UA e will be free of Deku, but he was proven wrong.
Later on, the fact that Deku had a quirk being revealed was also something that brought him even more shock. He did not know why Deku did it. Why he hid his quirk all these years. Was he silently mocking him and everyone while hiding it. Thoughts came too fast for him to process that he did the only thing that he felt like doing.
He lashed out and was about to attack Deku in their quirk assessment test. But something made him distracted enough that he immediately turned to what he found then.
He first saw Allmight and then he saw the same guy that knocked him out before. He knew that Deku started changing after this man came that day. He knew all those sleepless nights he got where triggered by something done by that guy on the day he knocked him out.
He did not even think about the fact that he was a teacher and attacked him just so he can vent the frustration he has been holding back for two years. But again,
Damn it the same single strike
The last thing in Bakugo's mind as he fainted from the strike to his chin. Later on, Bakugo faced Deku in the match of villains vs heroes and taunted Deku to using his quirk to defeat him with his own. Since Deku has a quirk of his own, he can now use attacks that are excessively lethal to a normal person.
So, he tried to battle him, but every time he came close, Deku managed to easily outsmart him at every move. Every time Bakugo came close it was like the fight with the annoying teacher, as if he knew how he will attack and therefore will be able to easily counterattack as well and strike back very easily as well. The most frustrating thing was that Deku was not even using his quirk. The more time passed, the more frustrated Bakugo got and finally he could not control himself and he used the weapon modified by the tech department that collected his sweat for a single ultimate attack.
He was warned that the resulting explosion will be deadly to people, so he was supposed to use it with caution. But at that moment he was only thinking about making Deku use his all and beat him to stop everything that has been bothering him.
Deku dodged and then later won the match while using his quirk to destroy ten floors of the building while taking Bakugo's explosion using his bare arm.
Bakugo was shocked as he heard Deku say he can't use his quirk because of the lack of control he has over them. But that was not what was in Bakugo's mind. The only thing in his mind was imagining what would have happened if Deku had used that attack on him.
He was not able to imagine any scenario where he can escape.
He knew that Deku will only be able to use one or maybe two shots if he can stay awake after breaking one of his arm. But no matter what Bakugo imagined, he was not able to think of a way to escape.
The move he used seemed to be filled with Kinetic energy and he seemed not to have no problem pointing it to a direction.
The only thing that made Bakugo feel inferior to Deku until that day was his heroic spirit. But that day, he saw that he will lose even in the case of strength and quirk.
Later Deku said some things about his quirk but that only made him angrier.
Later in the sessions with Inazuma, the man that he hated the most currently. He tried to win by a battle then and there but was not able to and was taken down easily. He then gave a lecture about not telling anything until I find the flaws I have.
Pissed me off enough that I did not even want to hear about it. Then Late the attack on the USJ happened where he saw Blood lightning taking down the villains as if they are nothing to him. Allmight has been his greatest target as he considered him as the top of the Hero Board. But that day he had to reaffirm his thinking.
He had heard of Blood lightning. Even though that person was never in the official hero board, he knew according to many reports that the person was strong. That day he saw the Nomu being easily taken down by that man in an instant. Bakugo knew that if the man wanted it, killing the Nomu was even easier for him than what he did right now. He then saw Allmight take care of that Nomu but at that moment he realised that Allmight might not be the strongest hero out there.
He still worshipped Allmight as the greatest hero ever was as he knew that even if Blood lightning was stronger than Allmight, he cannot be the symbol that Allmight was as the topmost hero. But that day he knew that he must become even stronger than Blood lightning for him to reach his dream.
Then came the first step towards that dream. The UA Festival where he was supposed to come first and prove to many the=at he was strongest in the class.
But that day too he was struck by somethings that shocked him deeply.
A/N- hope you like it; I wanted it to be two chapter with each chapter about Deku and Bakugo from their perspectives. But I had no idea that the image I had of Bakugo was this deep Deku only takes one chapter. So, this will last one or two chapters.
