The competitions in the UA festival went off without a hitch after that. The traditional high school competitions were also done. The marathon was very exciting for a 6-year-old Eri and after the incident with Recovery girl, she fell asleep while Inazuma and Clara watched the festival.
While watching those kids a few years younger than them enjoying the life that they never had made them feel a sense of longing but having each other made everything that they did worth it. They both reached a place that others do not even think of at the age in which they achieved it. Clara became the head of one of the world's most leading companies and Inazuma unofficially became one of the powerfullest heroes ever.
"We skipped a lot didn't we" Clara asked knowing what he is thinking right now
"yeah but we gained a lot as well. Even though we never had a life that can be considered as normal. We achieved something that people spend their whole life to achieve" he put his head on her shoulder as he said this.
"yes we did" she smiled while she replied.
The competitions went on its way. The only difference was the lack of cheerleaders which was the result of Mineta's and Kaminari's hormone induced thinking in cannon. Since the rehabilitation, Mineta has been a proper gentleman and Kaminari had also not gotten involved in any of those because of the lack of OG Mineta.
Then I looked at the battle round players and found out that they still followed the cannon. Looks like the power that makes cannon stick is still there. But I hope the students can show an even better match than cannon.
Midoriya Vs Shinzo
The first battle went without any hitch. This time because my influence from before, Midoriya was more level-headed and practical and did not fall for his taunts as easily as in cannon and managed to get him out easily.
Seeing this I contacted Aizawa
"Hey, you saw that kid's potential right" I mentioned to Aizawa
"I'll look into it and see if he can handle it" Aizawa replied curtly
Well Shino will be in for it I guess
But right now, I need Midoriya to get controlled by him at least once and break out of it himself. My guess is getting brainwashed by Shinso had actually eased his contact with other vestiges of One For All. So for his development, I need him to get brainwashed. Well guess I had to plan for that.
Shoto vs Hanta
That was a tragedy for Hanta. I forgot about the fact that Endeavor is going to rile up Todoroki and it ended just like in cannon. Luckily he did not use the freezing move I recommended in our session as that would have led to some major injuries for Hanta.
Ibara Vs Kaminari
Well, this one was a no brainer. Kaminari was in deep trouble because Ibara's quirk was a direct counter for his. So, this ended with him using up his power all at once and being whammied. Looks like I need to train him somehow to manipulate his lightning more without his equipment. Well thought for another day I guess.
Ida vs Hatsumi
This was as funny as I saw in the anime. But it also was not cut off like in the anime, so I was able to see the full scene of Hatsume using Ida as her advertisement material.
"that kid's interesting" Clara said
"Make sure to get her alright, the chances are whichever industry joins with will be the leading ones in a few years" I replied knowing her potential
"I'm going to talk to Nezu" Clara said as she went away.
Mina vs Aoyama
Just like in cannon, Mina won very easily.
Fumikage vs Momo
Momo seemed to have created rocket skates this time instead of freezing in place with just a shield. But Tokoyami was versatile and manged to change her direction and push her off the stage.
Ejiro Vs Tetsutetsu
Now this was a manly match that was really interesting. Since both of them had increased in power because of my advice, the battle was even more exhilarating. But this time instead of a draw that led to a subsequent match, Ejiro won in the last second but lost a lot of stamina which has a chance of effecting his subsequent battles. Though still at the end he showed good sportsman spirit and got the cheers of audience in the end.
Katsuki vs Ochaco
This battle was highly exhilarating with almost the same instances as in the cannon with Ochaco giving her all and Bakugo being cautious and not using his full power. And after some time, she started to plie up damages on herself which began to rile up the audience who began shouting at Bakugo.
I waited for Aizawa to give his speech, but it did not come. When I looked I found out that he was near Shinzo and was talking to him and it looks like the jeers of the public are increasing.
Damn it why do I have to do this.
I put on my suit and went near Mic who was also joining in jeering Bakugo. I slapped the back of his head hard enough that his face smashed on the counter and then I took the mic.
"What kind of idiots were shouting right now. Are you pro heroes, then I suggest you give up this job and take employment elsewhere"
Woah, my deep mask voice with the mic has a scary combination. Almost everyone looked at towards us and the cameras were focused on my face.
"Woah its Blood lightning"
"he's real"
"oh my god he's awesome, though his voice is scary"
Well, I continued without letting the comments stop me
"This is a battle between two students aspiring to be heroes. If you are commenting upon the boy being harsh, don't forget the girl could have surrendered as well but she is still fighting. There are many times when heroes face villains stronger than them and instead of running, she is fighting head on using her determination and spirit.
And the boy is clearly being cautious of her moves and is therefore conserving his stamina and energy in the battle while trying to think about the moves the girl is going to make. He is doing this because he is recognising the strength of the person he is battling right now.
If you idiots who are wearing the hero costume does not even have the common sense to know this, just like I said before just quit your hero career"
By then a hand came to my shoulder to stop me
"I will handle the rest, good job" it was Aizawa, and he took the mic and criticized the heroes too. Since the jeering's had lasted longer, some of them had crossed the line and Aizawa was pissed. I saw this and went back to the viewers room where I was before.
