Shoto Todoroki vs Katsuki Bakugo
Well, just like that the final match between Bakugo and Todoroki came. They both entered the arena, and Midnight called the start of the match. They started fighting but it seems like Todoroki was not in it and Bakugo was tired as he measured each of his strikes before firing.
During this time, I saw Ida getting a call and his expression drastically changing. It seems like Ingenium got into the accident like in the cannon. The chances are his injuries will be fatal enough that he won't be able to pursue his hero career again. I kind of feel bad about it because he was one of those heroes who got into the hero business to save the people and was not focussed on fame or money. This makes me think about the standards set up by the Hero killer.
I had not read the vigilantes comic, which is said to have information about how he had turned into a guy like this. But all I know is right now he is targeting all the heroes that does not fit the standards of being a hero that he had personally set up. But that is bullshit, the world is not black and white that some people who do heroic stuff can be regarded as hero and others are pretenders. Some say that nowadays the word hero is used to describe a job that people can take. This might be disagreeable to most but is one of the things that I agree upon.
Heroes are humans too. It is too much to ask them to sacrifice their entire life just to save people. I agree that saving people is important but at the end of the day, if it destroys the life of the hero, it becomes difficult for others to follow the path. But when it is converted into a merit-based system where each rescue is recorded and every hero is only allowed to take the jobs after learning all the rules and passing a set of tests proving their eligibility and skill level. The system as a whole helps the society as a whole. But Hero killer's method of killing heroes just to give a warning so that other heroes work more better is a path that will not work very well. The truth is he targets heroes who does not pass the level he decides on. He does not look whether these heroes are corrupt or not. If he had gotten to heroes who are corrupt, I would have agreed with him at least slightly. But his random targeting must be stopped. Looke like I need to contact someone for extra hands as the chance of the Nomu's being stronger than normal being in Hosu is very high so a bit of reinforcement will be welcome on that day.
Now the battle between Bakugo and Todoroki is going well but it looks like Todoroki has still not gotten over himself to use his flames and Bakugo is pissed at the fact as well.
BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM!
And there goes the giant explosion and the match was over with Todoroki taken down. Looks like all those giant attacks of ice has caught up to him. And his unwillingness to use his heat side might have accumulated some problem and suddenly activating it today for battle might have also used up a lot of his stamina.
"What the hell you bastard, this ain't over yet!"
Bakugo screamed and was about to attack the fainted Todoroki, but Midnight immediately took him out. Ending the match with victory for Bakugo.
I saw Endeavor going off in anger, so my guess is that he was not satisfied with the way the final match ended. And right now, everyone went to prepare for the award ceremony for all the winners. Midnight went towards the mic to give their announcement.
"And Now to present award for the winners of the tournament-"
Allmight suddenly came crashing down
"I'M HE-"
"Our very own no1 hero Allmight"
Oh my god, even though those cheers, I can feel the awkwardness rolling through the field. I had warned all those idiots to choreograph the prize distribution and other event yesterday and not to wing it. But it looks like it did not even go through their heads.
I can see Allmight giving a look of betrayal to Midnight and her apologising back for it as well.
Bakugo was not tied up this time and he seemed to be contemplating something. That's different from last time. Well in cannon he had bulldozered through almost each round and had beaten all of his opponents. But this time he had to push them off the stage and was extremely tired in the final round. Looks like he felt like the victory was not as easy as he had announced in the beginning.
And seeing that others had all vastly improved compared to the first group match where they battled as heroes and villains and he on the other hand was on the same level might have irked him by a lot I guess. Looks like my influence had also started to affect Bakugo as well I guess.
"Tokoyami-kun, you did very well compared to before, you had a handle on a few of your weaknesses and had found ways to counter it as well, I will wait for the time you manage to fight with full might in the darkness one day" Allmight said as he presented the medal
"Thank you for the advice sir"
Ida was also awarded third place but since he was not here, Allmight went to the next one.
"Glad to see you start dealing with your inner problems young Todoroki, the flames you showed before were magnificent and showed how much spirit you had"
"I have a lot of things to deal with, but I will try my best"
"All right but if you feel like talking, you can approach any teacher that you are comfortable with even me if you want"
"I will keep that in mind" he replied and Allmight moved to Bakugo
"Well, what do you know, you did exactly like you announced Young Bakugo, your moves were magnificent"
"yeah right" Bakugo grunted out and stopped speaking altogether.
Allmight seeing that he was not in the mood to speak, decided to speed up the process, though he looked like was worried about Bakugo's reaction.
Well, I can't deny it as any person that personally knows Bakugo knows that he is not normal right now.
"Well dear children, today every person who have fought in the stage has shown us that the future of Hero society. So"
