"You have a reputation for dispatching your opponents easily. Often times in a single blow. I can assure you that will not be the case today." Tero said.
"Oh really? You sound pretty confident in your ability to win. You must be pretty tough then." "War" said.
"It's not particularly confidence in my toughness, I actually do believe you have the power to kill me in a single blow. I Just don't believe you'll ever have a chance to actually strike me with it." Tero replied.
"Eh, whatever let's just get this started already." "War" said as he started to rush towards Tero.
Flame Dimension!
As soon as "War" stepped forward he found himself engulfed in flames and magma. He tried to protect himself but there was no way to avoid the flames.
Tero's ability allows him to send his opponent to one of his four dimensions. The first of which is the Flame Dimension, this dimension is filled with fire and volcanoes spewing lava. Only Tero can move between the dimensions and while his opponent is trapped in another dimension he remains safe by not having to enter the dimension himself.
As he stood there, everyone else in the arena was confused, as all they could see was Tero standing by himself.
"Alright let's see how he's doing." Tero said while recalling "War" from the Flame Dimension. "War" had some burns but was mostly unharmed. "He must have used Kuija to defend himself. Oh well, it doesn't matter I'll just move on to the next dimension."
As soon as he had returned he was transported again.
Blizzard Dimension!!
This time "War" was taken to a dimension filled with snow and ice, and he was frozen immediately. However, it was still not enough to significantly damage him.
Storm Dimension!!!
This dimension was home to violent hurricanes and lightning. The winds ripped through "War" and he was struck repeatedly by lightning.
Warrior Dimension!!!!
The final dimension he was sent to was filled with undying spectral warriors. No matter how many he cut down, "War" could not stop the flow of soldiers. As he cut them down more would appear in their place. He eventually started to take damage from the relentless assault.
Although "War" was unable to come out of Tero's attack unscathed, he was still able to rush towards him after going through all four dimensions. Tero would go on to put "War" through two more cycles through his dimensions, and while he continued to accumulate damage he was undeterred from his attack.
As "War" was stuck in his dimensions again, Tero was considering his next moves. "Other than Keisha, nobody has ever survived three cycles through my four dimensions. I might have to use my ultimate technique, I never thought I'd have to use it on someone other than Keisha. It's a risk but I have to do it before I run out of aura, I can't have this turn into a fist fight."
Four Dimensions Convergence!!!!!
"War" was now being assaulted by the effects of all four dimensions at the same time. He was struck by frozen lightning and cyclones made of flames, all while being attacked by warriors wielding the elements of the other three dimensions.
Tero's ultimate technique completely exhausted his aura, but when "War" reappeared every bone in his body was broken, and he was face down in an ever growing pool of his own blood.
The Extorian crowd was cheering while the Imperial spectators were silent. The referee seemed to not know what to do as several moments passed he was forced to make a decision.
"I-It seems we have a winner it's-"
"Wait!" "War" shouted as he struggled to his feet. "Did you really think something like that could finish me off?"
"Heh, of course. There's no way Lord "War" would be defeated so easily." Toudou said.
"Yes, that's quite good. I have to admit that I had thought there was no way for him to counter his opponent's ability and win." "Earth" said.
"This fight was a match up between opposing abilities. Tero's ability is extremely powerful and allows him to attack his opponent with unavoidable techniques with no risk to himself whatsoever. Therefore it's an ability that expends an incredible amount of energy." "Wind" said as he and "Wolf" entered the room.
"Conversely, "War's" ability is extremely simple and only effective because of his martial arts skills and physical strength therefore he expends a minimal amount of energy. Now Tero is completely exhausted while "War" has nearly a full reserve of aura. This match is over." He continued.
"This is bad, even as injured as he is I know there's no way I can win without being able to use my ability, he already has an extreme advantage in close quarters combat. I need to just try to avoid a confrontation until my aura recovers. He's already a step away from death after all." Tero thought.
While Tero was strategizing "War" rushed forward to attack.
Spear Form: Piercing Thrust!!!!
"War" used his spear hand and thrust it through Tero's heart and killed him in a single blow. After he won his match he struggled to walk out of the arena. Toudou and Denjimi went in to help "War" to the medical center as he was in critical condition.
At the conclusion of the match the 7 Elements had won the War Festival 7-0. The Minister of the Left was speaking to "Light" about his failed mission.
"I don't know what was so difficult about what I asked. All you had to do was not fight! What were you thinking you fools?" The Minister of the Left asked.
"Well you see grandfather, we wanted to complete our mission but we made a deal with "War" and our honor was at stake so we were forced to do as he said." "Light" explained.
"Do you think I care about your honor and don't call me grandfather. You are nothing to me but my daughter's failed experiments. I tried to find a use for you two but I suppose it was pointless." The Minister replied.
"But-" "Light" tried to protest.
"I'm not interested in entertaining this conversation any further. Rest assured, I will crush the 7 Elements eventually, and now you two will be a part of it." The Minister said as he cut the call.
"So brother are you going to make the 7 Elements a part of the Royal Guard now? It would seem that they earned a reward after that performance." The Minister of the Right said while laughing.
"Go ahead and laugh, I know you thought they weren't going to be a threat. Now at least you should see that I was right." The Minister of The Left said.
"As a matter of fact I do. Especially if they are able to somehow sway "Light" and "Darkness" to their side. This "War" seems to have an uncanny ability to acquire allies." The Minister of the Right said. "We need to prepare another strategy to take care of them."
