"I was done, and now it felt like I had just come back to my senses. But nevertheless, I was satisfied and filled to the brim. Now I felt sorry for my actions; I really didn't know what came over me.
(DING)
HUNGER SATISFIED!!
WARNING: 6 HOURS 47 MINS TILL END OF TASK!! GET YOUR HEAD IN THE GAME, LAD!!
Great, I almost forgot.
The task... I think I should make amends before leaving, maybe apologize to them and tell them I didn't mean any of my actions?
But they all looked like they were just waiting for the moment I dropped the gun so they could devour me. I could tell from their looks as they all stood still, watching me.
Maybe I'll just make my way out of the house and run away to prevent getting beaten up or killing someone, considering my strength and temper. Yeah, that was the best option.
But I was about to get up on my feet when I felt a blunt poke at the back of my neck.
"'You move, I'll blow your brains out,' a deep, rough voice spoke behind me.
Darn it, I guess this is it, I thought to myself as I held the gun in my hand, low. I guess he didn't see it. 'Now put the gun down slowly and be quick about it, or I'll blow your damn brains out.' Nah, I was wrong; he saw it, and he didn't sound like he was joking. I followed his instructions, dropping the gun before me just when one of the guys in their cluster came and picked it up.
"'You thought you were so smart, didn't you, huh?' the voice behind me said right before hitting me really hard behind my head, making me fall to the ground in pain. I turned around to see who hit me just when a foot came straight at my head against the ground.
I saw a flash of white for a second there, and my head felt like a bomb went off in it. Seconds after that, I felt them stepping on me and kicking all over me. One of the girls among them jumped on my stomach, making me throw up all I ate. Now that was what got me mad.
I mean, what's the use of holding myself back when I threw up all I ate? The food was the only reason that made me go through all this."
"So now it was like they were hitting me for nothing. My anger had never grown so fast before; I reached out for any leg I could get first to be an example to others, and unfortunately for this bitch, her left leg was the first thing I caught.
I managed to spring up on my feet, pulling this girl to the ground as they all stepped back for a moment, giving me a little space.
So I took the opportunity to grab a fork from the center table and quickly pulled this girl up, holding the fork to her neck. 'Nobody shoot, reflex action,' I said, holding the fork pressed below her neck.
"I swear I will do it," I said, and they all stepped back for a moment. She was already sobbing, "Please don't kill me, I'm sorry.
I beg you, please spare my life." Really, you were the one who gave them all the encouragement to try to get me killed, and now you beg like I'm the bad guy here? I wasn't going to kill her anyway; I made a vow in my life never to lay my hands on any woman until I get to paradise.
"I have seen situations where ladies get beaten up by their husbands or boyfriends, and I never liked the scene. It always irritated me anytime I saw a man hit a woman.
I once sunk a pen into my uncle's lap the moment my aunt was about to fall backwards down the stairs as she tried running from him.
He saw it but kept on hitting her, so I just happened to hold a pencil at the moment and stabbed him behind his thigh, a little bit below his left ass cheek. I stabbed him so hard the pencil went halfway in. I bet anytime he tried sitting, he'd remember me.
"He would have probably killed me back then if he got a grip of me, but I ran away immediately, pulling my battered aunt along as we made a run for it. She was so pretty, with a quiet face, and she was just right - not too much, not too little. She was perfect from her hair to her feet; she was everything a man could wish for in every aspect, and her cooking drives me insane.
If I was in the right state, I would have married her. Still, with all these features, he hit her so many times. I wonder how he did that, looking at her angelic face.
"Well, I didn't want to be anything like him, so I made a vow never to lay my hands on any woman again, and I always stand by my word.
This bitch kept on begging, 'Nobody shoot, please. I don't want to die. Please, I don't want to kill you either.' I whispered into her ears, 'Go on, tell them to put their weapons down. Tell them that I said I'm sorry for my actions, and I wish to make amends.' '
"He wants to make amends, please guys, put your guns down,' she said immediately, and she didn't sound remorseful, just scared.
"Yes, she's right. I want to make amends," I said, letting her go and putting my hands in the air.
"I'm sorry for everything, guys," I said, turning to the guy who hit me to the ground. Turned out he wasn't really holding a gun. Huh! What a nice move he made, playing with my mind there. I really thought he had a gun with him.
"Look, man, I'm sorry. I was just hungry and didn't know what came over me," I said to him.
"Really, man, how does hunger make you shoot someone in the leg?" Like I said, I wasn't in control. This guy seemed to be an understanding one.
"Okay, then, everyone put your weapons down," he commanded, and everyone did so immediately. "Let's hear him out."
