The East Asian Alliance.
The East Asian Alliance is a coalition of three nations located in East Asia: The Nihon Empire (Japan), The Kingdom of Goryeo (Korea), and The Republic of China (set in the period after the Qin Dynasty but before the rise of Communism).
These three countries have joined forces to protect their shared interests.
Currently, the Alliance is fighting a war on two fronts.
In the north, they are battling the Russy Federation, and in the south, they are facing pressure from the South East Asian Alliance (SEAA).
The Russy Federation, however, isn't fully committed to this war because they are expecting an invasion from the Great German Empire. For now, they are using the East Asian Alliance as a form of "target practice" or a "warm-up" for the bigger fight they anticipate.
Luckily for the East Asian Alliance, the Russy Federation isn't trying to invade deeper into mainland China. If they did, with their advanced weapons and tactics, the East Asian Alliance would likely be defeated.
This is because the East Asian Alliance's technology and equipment are still outdated compared to those of the Western nations. Their soldiers, for instance, rely on old rifles, such as the Jäger rifles from the West. Their mages still use long staffs and cast long winded spells, while some also use talismans. Their planes, on the other hand. are somewhat decent, however overall, they are still behind.
Recently, the Nihon Empire has started to improve its technology. This progress is slowly helping the Kingdom of Goryeo and the Republic of China catch up as well,
However… This 'catching up' is still not yet up to par if you compare it with the other nations…
That's why when the South East Asian Alliance attacked the East Asian Alliance's land in Taiwan, they were heavily pushed back, to the point that the military of the East Asian Alliance returned to Mainland China.
Afterwards, the SEAA wanted to incorporate their success by attacking the lands of the EAA directly.
The SEAA attacked China's Cathay Territory (modern day HongKong) with numerous ships and infantry however, the SEAA's infantry failed to land… the attack failed…
This led to the SEAA to be pushed back, back to the Taiwan lands, which is still currently a hotspot up to the current times.
To tell you guys the truth, the SEAA is a really backward group of nations. This is due to them being colonized in the past and just recently, some of them were eventually granted independence. Some are still a colony of major powers, but they were given a self-governing government as a 'show' of giving them 'freedom'.
Since the SEAA is still considered a group of backward nations, you might be wondering how the hell can they push back the more advanced (compared to the EAA) East Asian Alliance if they're more backward than the EAA, heck their service rifles are mere muskets, flintlocks, bayonets, etc..
The simple answer to that is they had received support.
They did not just receive support from just one country, not from two countries, but from three countries.
These countries are major powers which belong to the western world, with the exception of one, the Ottoman Empire.
The Ottoman Empire directly supported them with people and equipment because if the SEAA won, and incorporated the Chinese mainland lands, then they would probably gain another ally, which they can consider as border friends.
The two other nations who are currently providing support to the SEAA are the United States and the Commonwealth.
Their reason is a bit different from the Ottomans. Their reason for providing support is simple. They have their colonies and/or lands within the territory of the South East Asian Alliance.
Due to this, they still opted to protect/'defend' what is theirs, and attack/'seize' what they want.
With the support coming from the three major powers, the formerly backward SEAA became a dragon overnight, however, what they didn't foresee is that this 'dragon' is just a paper dragon, impressive at first glance but fragile underneath, easily crumpled, easily destroyed… Experience and tactics are still what wins a war.
Since the EAA are currently at war in the North, they opted to send the 'veterans' made from this so called 'war' against the Russy Federation, to fight and lead against the SEAA.
The East Asian Alliance did in fact also used the Russy Federation as a training dummy as well…
However, the East Asian Alliance knew that this was not sustainable. They are also sustaining medium damages, which in the long run, would definitely cripple the East Asian Alliance. That's why they also opted to gather support.
They gathered and shortlisted numerous nations to which they can solicit support from. They pushed out asking the Francois Republic for help since they are in alliance with the Commonwealth. They also removed the then-not-former Legadonia Entente Alliance due to the same reason as above.
They then removed numerous other nations due to a variety of reasons, until one nation's name stands out above all, The Great German Empire.
Asking help from the Great German Empire will be a great boom for the East Asian Alliance. However… they also knew that asking help from the Empire would be a costly matter, and it was costly indeed…
The Empire asked them to flank the Russy Federation if they ever attempted to invade the German lands.
It was not costly in the short run but… when the time comes… they will be forced to follow the contract between the two.
Going back to our story, Felix's plane had just landed in Tokyo's airport. In front of him is a parade of people, both military and civilians, with numerous instruments playing in the background.
The arrival of a major power's prince is a great boon for the East Asian Alliance. With this, the international powers would know that the Great German Empire supports the EAA, for reasons still unknown to them. May it be because the enemies are the prospective enemies of the Empire, or for something much more…
Felix waves his hand to the crowd, basking on the attention and cameras the people are giving him. Around him, his Imperial Guards are on the lookout for any potential attackers. They are also acting as a barricade between Felix and the people, which is a good thing.
At the end of the walkway, a man in a military uniform straightened up as Felix approached, his posture rigid and formal. His uniform was immaculate, the medals on his chest gleaming under the sunlight. As Felix drew closer, the man gave a sharp salute, his eyes meeting Felix's with a hint of curiosity mixed with respect.
He then introduced himself to the prince with his broken german.
"Guten Morgen, Prinz Felix… von Hohenzollern… Ich bin Ohashi Ryoko… Willkommen... im Ostasiatische… Allianz (Good morning, Prince Felix von Hohenzollern. Welcome to the East Asian Alliance)."
Felix smiled and eased the man. Though the man is of high rank, when compared to a prince, he is still a bit lacking.
For Felix's reply, he opted to use his newly learned language.
"おはようございます.お待たせしなかったことを願っています.(Good morning as well. I hope you did not wait long for me)."
Obviously, the decorated military man was shocked. Normally, a visitor or an ambassador from other countries would not even bother to return the greeting in Nihon's native language. They would just say it in their own language, or would say it in broken Japanese.
That's also the reason why the military man was impressed. The Prince did not only say it in their Japanese language, but he also said it fluently, like a local who has been speaking for at least 10 years. Impressed, the military man replied.
(From this point onward, all conversation would be in English! Have mercy on me.)
"No, your highness! We didn't wait for much."
Hearing that, Felix smiled at the military man.
"Then… that's good… I wonder if we can now proceed to our Hotel… I'm a bit tired you see…"
"Don't worry, your highness! Your accommodation while you are staying here in Nihon is already ready! It is now waiting for you, your highness!"
"Great! Please lead the way."
Felix and his entourage were led to a convoy of western made cars. They then went inside the cars together with their luggages. The car then went on towards the city center of Tokyo,
Peering through the window, Felix can see how underdeveloped the country is, if you compare it with the western countries.
The buildings in the city center are made up of mostly wood. There are also numerous rickshaws in the city center. They are those tasked with bringing their passenger from point a to point b with their sole feet as their capital.
There are also numerous carriages within the city center. These carriages are mostly driven by one or two horses as the main engine of the carriage.
After a few minutes, Felix and his entourage arrived at the house they will be staying in. To say it as a simple house would be an understatement. Instead, the word villa would fit this 'house'.
It was a traditional Japanese villa, with ponds, bridges, wood, and trees everywhere.
After all of the formalities, the guide went back to his military duties, while Felix went straight to his room since he was dead tired from the flight. He had also spent the night before at his factory, making sure that the developments were ongoing even without him.
He is now lying face-down on the futon that is within his room. He closed his eyes and breathed in the fresh smell of the tatami mats within his room. The room's freshness is evident in its natural grass smell, which reportedly is the smell of the tatami mats.
Whilst still lying face-down on his futon, Felix muffledly said.
"I miss Germany already…"
He then looked outside the opened shoji doors of his room and immediately saw Goldy setting up a nest just atop the cherry blossom tree, just outside Felix's doors. Felix had also noticed the difference between his country and Nihon. (Shoji doors are those sliding doors within Japanese homes)
Here in Nihon, it is a land where nature's calmness touches everything. Tall, ancient trees sway gently in the breeze, while quiet rivers reflect the sky's soft blue. Greenish leaves and Cherry blossoms fall like snowflakes, covering the ground peacefully.
Misty mountains rise in the background, protecting the quiet villages below. The distant sound of a temple bell echoes, adding to the serene and timeless feel of the land. Even if you are within the city, the buildings themselves are a testament to nature as it was made of wood rather than concrete.
Though Tokyo is in transition to the industrial era, with western type buildings popping up one-by-one, nature can still be seen.
That is the nature of Nihon, it embodies calmness and natural beauty amidst the changing tides of time.
On the other hand, the Empire is quite the opposite. The streets are busy and full of energy. Tall, grand buildings made of stone and iron stand proudly, showing the strength of the empire. The sound of horse-drawn carriages and soldiers marching echoes through the cobblestone streets. Smoke from factories fills the air, a sign of the country's hard work and progress.
Why is the difference too stark?
Felix spent his time lying face-down just admiring the natural beauty of his garden.
However, for some reason, he is currently seeing Tanya sitting together with him under a Japanese cherry tree. Yes, he can see himself together with Tanya under the tree… If this is not hallucination then I don't know what this is anymore…
I miss her.
Felix soon fell asleep, with nature as his backdrop music, he is now dead as a doornail….

Right now, Felix and his entourage are walking the hallway of the East Asian Alliance Military Headquarters within Tokyo. This headquarters is the only western type building in its block, and within 10 meters at the least.
He and his entourage are heading to a meeting room full of military people in order to discuss the role of the Empire within their war.
As they were walking, Felix stopped for a moment and faced his escort and best friend.
"Hey, Carl. Help me later if you ever feel I am in a bind. It is my first time leading an entourage after all."
He also looked towards the ambassador of the Great German Empire to the East Asian Alliance.
"If I ever make a mistake for the incoming proceedings, please forgive me in advance as it is my first time."
"Don;t worry, your highness! I would immediately intervene if there were any problems!"
Felix smiled towards this ambassador.
The ambassador was a soft-looking man, dressed in a Western-style suit. However, Felix knew that behind every soft demeanor could lie a hidden snake, most especially if he is an ambassador.
Ambassadors are the snakiest of all politicians, masters of deception and subtlety. They smile warmly, speak in carefully chosen words, and always seem to agree, but beneath that polished exterior lies a mind constantly calculating, always one step ahead.
They navigate the treacherous waters of diplomacy with ease, weaving webs of influence and manipulation. While others may wield power through force or charisma, ambassadors wield it through quiet cunning, making them the most dangerous players in the game of politics.
"Alright. It is nice knowing that you guys have my back."
Felix and his entourage continued walking towards the meeting room. As soon as they arrived within the meeting room, the previous calmness of the room was exchanged to a tense political game.
Felix himself could feel the tension in the situation, but he remained calm and composed.
The military leaders of the Alliance nodded towards Felix, to which Felix nodded back.
Felix, Carl, and the ambassador sat on the chairs just opposite of the military leaders, while the rest of Felix's Imperial Guards stood behind the trio, acting as guards.
As soon as they sat down, maids from the East Asian Alliance gave the trio their own tea.
The tea that was given to them is known as Gobocha. The aroma coming from this tea gives an earthy type of smell, which is a comforting reminder of nature's simplicity. As Felix lifted the cup to his lips, he noticed the deep, rich color of the brew, a sign of its strong, grounded flavor.
The first sip was warm and slightly bitter, with a subtle hint of sweetness that lingered on the tongue. It was a tea meant to calm the mind, to bring a sense of peace amidst the tension of the day.
The room is shrouded in a tense and awkward silence. The silence went on for at least 2 minutes before one of the military leaders asked Felix.
(The following conversations are in Japanese… just imagine it hahahaha)
"Good morning, Prince. How was your rest? I've heard that you rested for the whole night."
Felix put down the tea that he was sipping.
"Yeah, my room was so cozy that I immediately fell asleep. The natural beauty of the zen garden just outside my room is also great."
Felix then brought the tea to his lips and sipped on it.
"This tea is also great. If I may, can I buy some of this tea along with your famous Matcha leaves?"
The military leader who spoke smiled towards Felix.
"Is that so, prince? Then I would introduce you later to some stores selling these types of leaves."
Felix smiled towards this person.
"Alright, I would appreciate the introduction, thank you for that."
Felix sipped one last time, and put down his tea. He then changed his expression to seriousness, as a show that the talks would be starting.
Seeing the serious expression of the Prince, the military leaders also straightened their backs and readied themselves for the talk.
"As you all know, we cannot just interfere with this war of yours against the South East Asian Alliance. We need a good justification for us to be able to join the war."
The military leaders expected this and replied.
"Yes, prince, we all know this… That's why we are asking you for any help that you may provide, so that we may reclaim the Taiwan island from the South East Asian Alliance…"
So they are giving me the discretion on the extent of what my country can give…
"Then, this is our help, and this will be the only help that my father can give you without infringing on the laws of conventional warfare."
"First. We would provide the East Asian Alliance with supplies of our previous service rifles, the Gewehr 98. Please understand that we cannot give you food supplies since the way between our countries is blocked by the Russy Federation and the Ottoman Empire.'
"Second. We would support you with our ships, and would only be firing from at least 20 kms away from the shores of any island you guys are currently attacking. Our ships would be considered as artillery in your war."
"The ships would also be manned by our soldiers, and we have no intention to provide you with one. Please understand that our ships are top of the line and would involve numerous confidential technologies."
"Third. Since we have no intention of the ships being manned by others, we would also protect our ships ourselves. Take note that we would not send any infantry or personnel inland and would just provide artillery support from our ships."
"The only exception for the former is if the enemies targeted our ship. This will be seen as provocation and we would be compelled to destroy any artillery, mage, or anything that breathes if they even try to fire upon our ships."
"For 'fairness', we would employ one journalist from a neutral country to make sure that we would abide by these rules. Please understand that we cannot just join another's war since it will be seen as provocation by others. If this ever happens, the other powers supporting the SEAA would also interfere making it harder for you people."
Of course, this journalist is one of the sleeper agents of the Empire… so fabricating evidence will be easier, but the EAA military leaders would not know this.
"Fourth and last. In return for our help. The East Asian Alliance would help the Great German Empire, if the Russy Federation invaded the Empire."
The military leaders were astounded. Honestly, the offers given by the prince are amazing. It was way above what they initially expected. Although it's a shame that the Empire's troops would not make a landing, the artillery support from the Empire would be a great help.
Also, since the Empire's troops would not land, they can just take all the credit if they ever won.
On the other hand, the ambassador is also astounded. He thought that since this is the first time the Prince would be talking with another country's representative, he might be stuttering with every word he says, but no, it was flawless, perfect, and concise.
The military leaders of the East Asian Alliance then looked at each other and nodded.
"Thank you Prince for this help. Please send our thanks to the Emperor, your father. We would use these gifts you had given us wisely."
"Don't worry about it. I would personally send a letter to my father."
The military leaders wondered.
The ambassador beside Felix is also wondering
"Letter, Prince?"
Felix smiled towards them.
"Don't you guys know? I would personally lead our country's support within this war of yours."
