Chapter 27 - Weapon Master.

Harry opened his eyes and saw some familiar faces.

He was in his room, and his friends were talking to each other.

"How much time has passed? Am I going to die?" he asked in a weak voice.

Liam slapped him on the back of his head and said, "It's only been half an hour, and I'm sure you won't leave us sooner than Tyler."

A smile appeared on Harry's face, and he stood up. He checked on his friends, and they were all in good condition, except Tyler, who had a swollen face and looked rather amusing.

One part of him wanted to joke about Tyler, but he refrained from doing so.

[Congratulations, you have failed your Quest.]

Harry shook his head. 'Now even this system is mocking me,' he thought.

"Umm... what happened to the weapon class?" Harry asked, ignoring the notification.

"We still have one hour before it starts, but while you were unconscious, a teacher came and gave us a warning. He said that if we fight outside the challenge rings again, we will be expelled," Liam informed him.

Harry nodded and stood up from the bed. "Let's go to the class."

"I'm taking a leave; you can go ahead," Tyler said.

Harry and Liam understood that Tyler didn't want to go, not because he was injured, but because he didn't want to appear before the girls with his swollen face.

They left the room and started heading towards the training hall.

If Harry remembered his fight correctly, he was as strong as Eldrich in terms of power and had the advantage of a soul body, but the biggest difference was Eldrich's water element. He realized that elements could significantly impact fighting. He wished he had wind or earth elements.

This fight had a profound impact on Harry and his friends. They were all excited to obtain their elements, but before that, they had to reach the 'elemental master' realm.

In the training room, not many students had arrived yet. There were various weapons leaning against the wall: swords, scythes, katanas, bows, crossbows, daggers, knives, and many more.

The few students present were practicing with the weapons they were comfortable with.

Harry was proficient with a bow, but these were different types of bows. They were not used for targets but for real combat. They were heavier and more challenging to use.

He grabbed an ordinary-looking bow.

He tried to draw the string, and it was much more challenging than a normal bow, but he was also stronger now. So, he didn't have much difficulty.

He drew the string to its full extent and released it. The string made a sharp noise, almost breaking the sound barrier.

He was impressed with it. He experimented with it for a while, and soon their teacher entered the room. All the students arrived on time.

Their teacher was a handsome man, appearing to be in his early 20s. He didn't say much or introduce himself.

"Hello, welcome. This is the weapon learning class. As you can see, there are various types of weapons. You can choose the one you like, and I will guide you one by one.

This class will only happen once a week. Once you choose your weapon, practice with it on your own, and I will guide you next week and correct your flaws," he explained and clapped his hands to signal that it was their time to start practicing.

Liam chose a saber, a weapon similar to a sword but with a curved blade. Blake wielded a spear. Harry decided to practice both bow and sword simultaneously. He already had knowledge about bows, and his aim was good. He just needed to sharpen his skills.

Now he wanted to focus on his sword skills so he could use his soul judgment sword effectively.

He remembered that Aiden told him not to show that sword to anyone, so he grabbed a sword that was available there.

Inspect.

[Foundation building level 6 sword.]

It was an ordinary sword, perfect for training.

Liam had some knowledge about swords, so he started teaching Harry the basics like how to wield a sword, hand positioning, and simple movements.

Their teacher was guiding the students one by one, giving them tips.

When it was Harry's turn, the teacher started analyzing him.

After about two minutes, he stopped Harry.

"You are a novice with swords, am I right?" he asked.

Harry nodded in response.

"Swords are easy to learn but difficult to master. I saw you training with bows. Why did you abandon them?" he asked.

"Uh... I already know a lot about bows, but now I want to learn swords," Harry replied.

"Alright, let's start with the basics. Grip the hilt firmly, but not too tightly. You want control, not tension," the teacher instructed.

Harry nodded, gripping the hilt as instructed.

"Good. Now, bend your knees slightly and find your balance. You want to feel firm and stable on the ground," the teacher continued.

Harry adjusted his stance, trying to find the right balance.

"Now, watch me. This is the guarding position. Sword raised to the level of your chest, ready to strike or defend. Always keep your opponent in sight," the teacher instructed while demonstrating.

Harry observed attentively, mimicking the teacher's steps.

"Excellent. Now, let's work on footwork. Step forward with your right foot and keep your movements fluid. Imagine gliding; don't stomp your feet down."

Harry took a cautious step forward, trying to mimic the teacher's steps.

"Good effort. Remember, it's all about control and precision. Now, let's practice some basic strikes," the teacher said.

The lesson continued as the teacher guided Harry through the fundamentals of swordsmanship, focusing on technique and concentration.

The teacher then moved to the next student, who was using gauntlets. Although Harry hadn't noticed it previously, he now realized that this teacher was knowledgeable about every weapon as if he were an expert.

Inspect.

[Spiritual sage level 6.]

'He is a spiritual sage, but that doesn't explain how he could master so many weapons,' Harry thought. He couldn't make any sense of it.
