At last, Kanji's strength failed him. His knees gave out, causing him to fall to the ground and lose consciousness. With his arms crossed, Enazumi observed impassively, perhaps anticipating this result.
Kanji had a terrifying nightmare deep in his slumber. Years had gone by, and his age had come with his unwavering search for Enazumi. At last, he arrived at his destination and discovered Marumaya to be nothing more than a pile of bones. He was startled into wakefulness by this revelation.
He opened his eyes to find Enazumi standing over him, a cold, calculating expression on his face. The nightmare had been a stark reminder of the stakes involved.
Days became the same old pattern. When Kanji would awake, he would see Enazumi's unrelenting indifference and be filled with wrath and resolve. Their conflicts shifted from being about winning to being about a last-ditch fight for survival.
Kanji launched a powerful punch at Enazumi, aiming for his face. The red-haired man effortlessly dodged the attack, his movements fluid and graceful.
Enazumi said with a tinge of humor, "Yeah, you're becoming somewhat stronger every day, but that's not enough to impress my employer." "Actually, I think I might have to become your professor."
Kanji became enraged. "Stop talking such crap! You tormented a child who was my buddy, and now you're jokingly considering turning my professor? Though I know the Lord would view me as a sinner, I would torment you still."
Enazumi gave a shrug. "Anyway, I don't give a damn about what you think or feel about what I did. However, you are obligated to listen to me if you wish to torment me.
He continued, dodging a flurry of punches and kicks, "Every Yin is based on something, be it elements or paranormal abilities. Mine is based on fire"
Enazumi hesitated, a weird intensity glimmering in his eyes. "I have to visualize it in order for me to employ the power you previously seen or to fully absorb the power into my body. If my Yin is capable of it, it simply so occurs. For example, I may visualize my body becoming more muscular and veined and then envision that power coursing through it to strengthen myself. The same is true of powers. I envision the impact, come up with a catchy moniker, and presto!"
Kanji stood panting, his anger momentarily subsiding as he tried to process Enazumi's words.
A sly gleam sprang into Enazumi's eyes as he grinned. Yes, I think that the foundation of your Yin is light or electricity. He remarked in a humorous yet amused tone, "I mean, I don't need to tell you much what you can think of with that knowledge."
Kanji thought about what Enazumi had said, a knowledge dawning on him. He envisioned all the energy in the surrounding area blending into him as he became one with the light. He had visions of traveling at extremely high speeds—possibly even faster than sound or light..but for now he would just go as fast as he could, i could destroye my body if i got that fast.
Kanji was surrounded by a dazzling golden glow that was electrifying. As though pulled by an invisible force, his body appeared to lengthen and reach towards the sky. He was gone in an instant and was back in front of Enazumi, kicking hard at his skull.
With no change in attitude, Enazumi easily seized Kanji's foot. "This child is understanding what I'm saying. He said, his voice tinged with eagerness, "Maybe I can finally appreciate this." He came back with a bang, punching Kanji in the stomach to launch him through the air and land with a loud crash on a nearby tree. Kanji's body crashed into the forest, uprooting dozens of trees.
Kanji was stunned but not shattered by the hit, and he stumbled to his feet. An explosive rush of adrenaline shot through his body. "I understand," he said, "so my body can handle this much speed as if it were nothing." Try increasing this by at least three times.
The kid threw himself forward, his body turning into a flurry of movement as he gained new resolve. With a crushing kick, he reappeared in front of Enazumi after disappearing into a cloud of smoke and dust.
Enazumi's shocked eyes became wide. Kanji moved with a speed and strength he had never seen before. Although he was able to deflect the kick, the impact of it sent him reeling backward.
"How can you take that hit like nothing and not only that come back faster?" Enazumi exclaimed, his voice filled with a mix of astonishment and respect.
Excitation hammered in Kanji's heart. This was the shot of adrenaline he had been waiting for. He attempted to refocus by giving himself a cheek smack. He said, "Stop talking and fight!" before making another move.
Enazumi blocked the attack, his expression turning serious. "Very well," he replied.
An electric current shot through Kanji's body. He visualized his body growing more robust and sturdy. A golden glow surrounded him, and there appeared to be an electric charge shimmering on his skin. He moved with a speed similar to that of a plane, hitting Enazumi with strikes that fell like hail.
Enazumi had no choice except to protect himself, his motions growing more erratic. He became aware that Kanji was changing as a result of the battle's difficulties. His expression took on a somber resolve.
Enazumi gave Kanji a menacing look while displaying a mixture of enjoyment and rage. With a low, scary voice, he remarked, "Maybe I should stop acting like you're a baby; since you're fairly powerful now, I should act like such."
Enazumi's aura grew more intense, almost red in color. Kanji had a sudden wave of anxiety, a sense of imminent disaster. Getting brave, he said to himself, "I can overcome this even if it means sacrificing myself." All I have to do is beat him as quickly as I can and free Marumaya from those bonds. I may then pass away without regret."
Kanji concentrated on his Yin, using its energy. His body seemed to be changing as a strong golden light surrounded him. As he directed the force into his extremities, the earth gave way under him in cracks and crumbles. With a definite desire to strike with force, he created a thick, unbreakable barrier of lightning around his hand.
Kanji was gone in an instant, a brilliant burst of light that rang across the ravaged countryside like a war cry. He reappeared in front of Enazumi in an instant, his fist moving like a blur. It had a disastrous effect. The region was enveloped in a tremendous explosion, with the shockwave flattening the remaining trees.
The smoke cleared, revealing the aftermath of Kanji's attack. Enazumi stood there, his face unmarred, his expression a mix of amusement and contempt.
"What? You thought something of this level could actually do anything to me?" he taunted, his voice dripping with sarcasm.
Kanji's thoughts was spinning and he couldn't speak. He had struck with terrible force, although Enazumi appeared hardly to be impacted.
With a chilly, businesslike voice, Enazumi remarked, "Let me show you the gap between us." He touched Kanji's chest, directly above his heart, with a single finger.
As Enazumi said, "Calor Quantum," Kanji felt a wave of excruciating anguish. Something blindingly bright seemed to replace the world around him. As Kanji fell to the floor, his awareness gradually faded.
His thoughts was a blur of agony and disarray as he slipped in and out of consciousness. When his senses eventually returned, he was resting on the damp, chilly earth. Enazumi was standing over him, his face expressionless.
After that defeat, Kanji truly saw how big the different it was.
Weeks became months after days had passed. After endless hours of practice, Kanji's physique became stronger and his skills improved. His goal was to imitate Enazumi's fighting technique, tactics, and even his way of thinking. Still, there was still a huge gulf between them.
Kanji yearned for a breakthrough, a moment where he could finally inflict real pain on Enazumi. He wanted him to suffer, to feel the despair and anguish that he and Marumaya had endured.
It was an unpleasant and disheartening experience. Though Kanji was now more powerful, Enazumi always appeared to be one step ahead. He was unable to deliver a big blow, no matter how hard he tried.
Years went by in a never-ending cycle of training and failure. Kanji's skills improved by practicing for endless hours, and his physique became stronger. He made an effort to imitate Enazumi's combat technique, tactics, and even way of thinking. However, their difference remained enormous.
Kanji longed for a breakthrough, for the opportunity to finally hurt Enazumi in a meaningful way. He desired for him to go through the same pain and suffering that he and Marumaya had gone through.
It was a frustrating and demoralizing experience. Kanji had grown stronger, but Enazumi seemed to be constantly above. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't land a significant blow.
As time passed, Kanji created new methods and creatively used the power of his Yin. He became proficient in an attack he named "Lightning Strike," which was quick and strong and directed lightning energy into his fist. He also perfected the "Electric Shield" defense move, which surrounded his body with an electrical shield.
As for the attack that left a scar on Enazumi's eye, Kanji had named it "Golden Flare" It was a devastating blast of energy that could incinerate anything in its path.
Kanji had grown much since he had first met Enazumi, and he was now seventeen years old. His strength was far beyond he could ever imagine of human reach, and his progress was evident. Enazumi was still a very strong opponent, though, with powers and skills that were unmatched by anyone he met.
Kanji dedicated himself to physical training. His body transformed, growing taller and more muscular. He became a formidable physical specimen, a testament to his relentless dedication.
Enazumi observed Kanji's metamorphosis with a combination of wonder and laughter. He wondered out loud, "Why is he obsessing on his body so much?" "Perhaps he believes that if he trains his body, the cup (his body) might retain a lot more energy, making his Yin assaults enormously stronger."
Kanji had a definite plan. He thought that a vital aspect of his power was his physical strength. Despite his disregard for his Yin talents, his commitment to rigorous physical training had paid off.
He was patient despite his advancement. He refrained from lunging into another altercation with Enazumi. He wanted to be ready since he knew that the next battle would be crucial.
Kanji would tell himself, his voice full of resolve, "Wait, until the next battle we fight, it will be the last."
Them said day came around..
The kid that is now a teenager woke up, To the sight of Enazumi.
Enazumi grinned mischievously as he walked up to Kanji. I'm going to go hunting to get some food for us, which I will then prepare, just so you know. You are also welcome to come, He Said opening his hand to the boy's direction.
Since Kanji was still sleep deprived, he was initially confused. But as the words registered, his fury increased. Is he considering himself my friend or something else entirely? Why does he still act in this way now? He told himself, "I'll make sure he suffers for this"
"Please, go fuck yourself!" Kanji replied in a venomous tone.
With a laugh that reverberated throughout the clearing, Enazumi laughed. You're obviously prepared for a fight by now. His eyes sparkled with challenge, "Just wait, I'll be back later."
Enazumi moved quickly, disappearing behind a blur of speed. The air was heavy with the sound of falling trees and hunting animals.
With his rage bolstering his resolve, Kanji balled his fists. He mumbled, "I feel ready today." I'm running out of time to wait. Today is the day I've prepared for." He moved his arms in such a way that the veins under his skin showed.
Enazumi disappeared into the trees, and Kanji began to warm up. He did push-overs, one-arm handstand push-ups, and running circles in the clearing to see how strong he was. His mind was working quickly, formulating a plan to finally defeat Enazumi.
The simple plan was to use what he had from the start. Kanji understood that his physical strength and Yin abilities would not enough on their own. He needed to combine all of his skills and expertise to overcome Enazumi.
Enazumi reappeared at night, loaded down with just prepared meat. A tribute to his power, he had carried the enormous cargo with the help of a tree board.
A veteran of Enazumi's strange actions, Kanji couldn't help but wonder, "How can he act so innocent and then torture a little girl like it's nothing?" Kanji was so angry that he ended up eating all of Enazumi's meals.
It was a far cry from the first few days when Kanji had insisted on not eating anything that Enazumi had killed. He had discovered the hard way that compromise was frequently necessary to survive.
Kanji was fixated on Enazumi during their meal. Considering the atrocities he had caused, the man's carefree attitude stood in sharp contrast. How could someone be so vicious and yet so carefree, Kanji pondered.
"Can you at least let me finish?" Mouthful of food, Enazumi said.
Enazumi's face changed after they had eaten. With narrowed eyes, he turned to face the room. "Now, please display the outcome of my work for me!" he stated.
Blood ran cold in Kanji. He understood the reference made by Enazumi. He said, "You will pay for all of this!" with a sudden outburst of rage.
With a strong spell, Kanji conjured a massive golden hammer. The sword, decorated with elaborate blue embellishments, towered above the battlefield. It was an extremely powerful weapon and had a size of around 50 meters wide.
Kanji threw the hammer at Enazumi, its descent a whirl of movement. Enazumi saw the gravity of the situation and triggered his Yin, transforming his hands into gigantic, fiery dragonic red hands. He seized the hammer, his strength straining against its enormous weight.
Enazumi paused briefly while holding the enormous golden hammer aloft. A smile appeared on his face as he appraised the situation. With a flip of his wrist, he launched the hammer upward, sending a tremor through the woodland.
Kanji, ready for the onslaught, cast a powerful spell. The earth under Enazumi burst, leaving a hole where the red-haired guy had stood. Dust and rubble blocked the view, but Kanji knew his opponent was still alive.
"Now i will show you, the result of my work!" Kanji yelled, his voice full of conviction.
Kanji was encased in golden armor, a shimmering field of energy that protected his body from injury. The armor was elaborate and detailed, demonstrating Kanji's command of his Yin.
Kanji used another battle cry to summon a heavenly sword. The blade, a glittering beacon of light, emerged in his grasp, its might apparent. With a single swing, the sword chopped through hundreds of trees, leaving clean and exact slashes.
Kanji cast another spell, "Light Mode Times 5x." His aura strengthened, and his body became lighter and more nimble. The shift was agonizing, but Kanji persevered, determined to accomplish his aim.
The Teenager became enraged. He focused his wrath into Yin, casting a terrible spell. "West Blast Canon!" he yelled, his voice resonating over the devastated countryside.
A enormous ball of energy emerged on the point of his blade, its radiance dazzling. Kanji pointed the laser onto the crater where Enazumi was lying, his determination unflinching.
As the smoke cleared from the crater, the beam expanded, dazzling the sky with its golden brightness. Kanji yelled ''Take this!'' as the blast advanced towards Enazumi. The surrounding region was enveloped in a catastrophic explosion, the intensity of which rocked the very foundations of the florest. The blast also impacted the metal and stone chamber, which represented Enazumi's might.
The smoke from the explosion gradually cleared, showing the destruction caused by Kanji's onslaught. The crater had expanded greatly, its edges damaged and jagged. The woodland around it was a wasteland, with the trees reduced to charred remains.
Among the pandemonium, a person appeared. It was Enazumi, his body covered in a blood-red glow. The air became heavy and oppressive, and the atmosphere dense with anxiety.
Kanji had never seen Enazumi like this before. His aura stood in sharp contrast to the golden light that surrounding Kanji. It symbolized unbridled, unrestrained power.
"Hey, kid," Enazumi replied calmly despite the strength of the atmosphere. "You don't need to yell after each spell. You only have to think in your head."
Kanji was caught by surprise. "Why...why didn't he tell me that before?" he questioned.
Enazumi moved at such a breakneck pace that the human eye struggled to keep up. Kanji, employing his Light Mode, was able to react in time. He avoided Enazumi's onslaught with smooth and accurate moves.
Enazumi, taken aback by Kanji's quickness, blasted a tremendous energy blast at him. Kanji responded with a crushing kick, his foot striking Enazumi's arm. Enazumi was stunned by the hit.
Enazumi spun around, his eyes filled with a cold fury. He launched a massive red beam at Kanji, the blast engulfing the area in a fiery inferno. Kanji, propelled by the force of the explosion, soared through the air, his body a hundreds of meters into the sky.
Kanji hung in the air, his body throbbing with power. Enazumi materialized in front of him in an instant, with a speed beyond human understanding. As he readied to attack, his fists blazed ominously crimson.
Enazumi delivered a strong strike that knocked Kanji to the ground, causing a large explosion and shockwave. Four huge dragon-like hands appeared behind Enazumi, each larger than the hammer Kanji had summoned before. The hands were clinched, their force obvious.
As the smoke cleared, Kanji rose, his body bruised but his soul unwavering. He used Light Mode Times 15 to push his body to its limits. His body grew lighter and stronger as the golden aura around him increased.
Kanji vanished before reappearing above Enazumi. He launched a barrage of assaults, his blade slashing through the air. His strikes were caught by the dragon hands, which were extremely strong.
Kanji moved fluidly and precisely, dodging Enazumi's blows, his blade finding openings in the dragon's defenses. He managed to hack through one of the hands, severing its fingers.
Enazumi, his face furious, summoned another dragon hand. The hand materialized at an unexpected angle, hitting Kanji and propelling him into a neighboring mountain. The impact carved a large crater, and the ground trembled from the power.
Enazumi kept surprising Kanji, five massive dragon hands surrounding him.
Kanji lay in the hole, bruised and bleeding. The golden armor that had previously shielded him was fading and devoid of energy. He clutched his heavenly blade, his hold decreasing with every passing instant.
Standing amidst the carnage, Enazumi taunted Kanji. "If you can do something about this, you're finally done!" He yelled, his voice thick with arrogance.
Five tremendous beams of crimson light emerged from the dragon's hands, with enormous devastating force. Kanji knew that if he was hit by one of them, it would be fatal.
Kanji came to a difficult conclusion. He couldn't let himself die. He triggered Light Mode Times 50x, and his body shone with a bright golden light. The transition was terrible, but Kanji persevered.
With a final burst of speed, Kanji vanished from the crater, while the massive beams completely destroyed the mountain, Kanji reappeared before Enazumi in an instant. He swung his sword, leaving the blade a whirl of motion. The collision was severe, and Enazumi's head flew into the air.
Both Kanji and Enazumi collapsed to the ground, one dead, the other exhausted. Kanji had accomplished his aim, but at a horrible cost. He was badly wounded and his body had been wrecked by the conflict.
Kanji lying on the floor, wounded and injured. His chest felt hollow, a gap where his heart should have been. He was barely alive, with faint and raspy breaths.
Kanji made a final attempt to gaze around the ruined woodland. He knew there was one more thing he needed to do. Before he could react, he felt a chilly presence behind him.
Enazumi stood there, the dead body dissapering as if it never was in the first place; it was an illusion, and his gaze became strangely intense. "You have done it," he murmured softly. "That was around 70% of my power... and that is sufficient. "You've proven yourself." he them continued ''I Will be waiting for you to join me in the future son''.
A dark gateway appeared near Enazumi. He turned and went through, vanishing into the darkness.
Kanji attempted to move, but his body refused to comply. The pain was intense, and his strength dwindled with each passing instant. He could feel himself sliding away, the darkness engulfing him.
Kanji's mind raced with feverish intent. "You can't die yet, not now!" he whispered to himself. "You need to open Marumaya's chains at least."
Kanji struggled to his feet. His body hurt with each step, yet he refused to quit. He crept over the shattered terrain and massive craters, the anguish ever-present.
Finally, he entered the chamber where Marumaya was imprisoned. He gathered his last power and pounded the door with all his force. The door shattered, revealing the dark and dismal inside.
and what he saw...
