CHAPTER 28
There was an awkward silence after he heard everything she said. He knew that she wanted something from him - perhaps a secret she was curious about but wasn't sure of.
It wasn't the first time he had come across this kind of person - the type who would go on ranting in an attempt to get you to say something you don't want to. Her hunch was correct, but she wanted a confirmation to prove her doubts.
" Are you suggesting that I'm from the future? Maybe?" He asked, forcing a slight smile onto his face.
She let out a slight awkward chuckle as she quickly averted her gaze.
" Hahaha... And just what makes you believe that I think that you're from the future? You could have seen it or perhaps heard about it. Maybe it was just your future, you know, just your own future."
