Chapter 37
Shrugging through the forest, he continued onward for days, eating nothing but fruits. He managed to come by only to be exhausted once again after having to face off hundreds of newly turned monsters.
" It was my fault for not asking where he came from." He thought, slapping his palm against his forehead as he fell on his knees, " If only I had asked him where he came from."
Picking himself up, he continued forward once again threading lightly until what seemed to be a settlement finally came to view once again.
He heaved a sigh in frustration, praying that he would see at least one living person on his way there. Maybe then there could be hope left for him.
It took him another hour before he finally set foot inside the small village, and once again, it was abandoned as he had expected. There was nothing but the horrible smell of dead bodies.
