A few months ago, while Sasaki was still completing his first main quest, he spent nights learning from The One System as his three sons slept safely.
The One System, an origin containing every history since the Big Bang, taught Sasaki about the creation of the world, darkness and light, and other profound secrets, which Sasaki then passed on to his sons.
One day, The One System told Sasaki about the ancient Demon Ranks, a hierarchy lost in the sands of time. In the past, demons were not ruled by a demon king but by a Demon God.
The title of demon king was a false creation by the goddess of corruption, under the orders of the goddess of light.
The first Demon God was created by Darkness to lead all demons on the right path. The Demon God was not only a leader but also a judge, a source of power, and a protector.
This true ruler of demons held the power to protect mankind and maintain order among demons. The four core roles of the Demon God were: Leader, Judge, Power, and Protector.
The hierarchy of demons was structured based on the number of chaos circles they manifested in their mana hearts. Demons with circles ranging from 1 to 3 were considered low-level ranks.
Those with 4 to 6 circles were classified as mid-level ranks. Demons possessing 7 to 8 circles were known as high-level ranks. The intermediate circle rank demons had 9 to 10 circles.
The more powerful demon generals had between 11 to 15 circles, while the demon lords were those with 15 to 20 chaos circles in their mana hearts.
The Demon God stood above all demons at rank zero, manifesting chaos energy beyond the limits of mortals and demons.
After the 20th circle, the mana heart could no longer contain chaos circles, and the Demon God used a different technique to harness chaos energy, reaching a level far beyond any other.
Sasaki stayed in the main room to cultivate the chaos circles while his sons selected the three spacious rooms outside the main area.
It was now time for Sasaki to implant the knowledge of the Chaos and Heart technique into himself.
He closed his eyes and confirmed with The One System to transfer the knowledge directly to his mind.
As soon as Sasaki confirmed, the information began to flow about how to cultivate the chaos heart.
This technique was different from the ones he had given to his sons, as it broke the norms of how many chaos circles a demon could form.
When a demon reached the 20th chaos circle, this secret art introduced a new approach that went beyond these limits.
As Sasaki meditated, shadows swirled around him, and an enigmatic figure formed behind him. The aura was eerie and ominous, as if darkness itself had materialized into a human-like form.
This dark figure placed its hand on Sasaki's head, transferring all the knowledge about the Chaos and Heart technique.
Once the process was complete, the surroundings returned to normal. Sasaki moved his hand, feeling a surge of knowledge and clarity.
Everything was now as clear to him as calm water, reflecting his newfound understanding. His mind was as clear as a still pond, reflecting everything with perfect clarity.
Sasaki sat in a meditative pose with his eyes closed, his hands resting on his crossed knees. He took a deep breath in and let it out slowly, focusing on the difference between chaos energy and mana.
Sasaki remembered the knowledge in his mind: while mana is everywhere, chaos energy is different and needs special concentration to absorb.
Mana is like the air everyone breathes. It's abundant and easy to take in, like humans breathing oxygen. No special effort is needed.
But chaos energy requires a demon to concentrate. Sasaki, with his awakened demonic bloodline, could sense chaos energy through his nose. His nostrils sent signals to his brain when they detected this chaotic energy.
To practice the Chaos and Heart technique, Sasaki needed to let chaos energy in and push mana out of his body.
He focused on breathing in only chaos energy and expelling all mana. This was like the lungs taking in oxygen and releasing carbon dioxide.
Mana is found everywhere and is an abundant resource, present in the air, ground, and all living things.
It is like the air we breathe, always around us and easy to access. Chaos energy is different. It comes from darkness and can only be practiced in places with no light. It is not as easy to find as mana.
Chaos energy is also emitted by living beings who feel strong emotions like anger, lust, greed, hatred, and vengeance. These negative feelings release chaos energy into the surroundings.
Next, Sasaki concentrated on forming a circle of chaos energy around his mana heart. He imagined chaos energy forming a hollow tube around his heart.
This tube wasn't a full circle but a passage that connected to the veins of his mana heart. Chaos energy flowed through one end of the tube and out the other, ready to be used for casting spells.
Sasaki focused intently, guiding chaos energy to form a unique structure around his mana heart. This structure, known as the chaos ring, was hollow like a tube.
Unlike a typical ring that might float around the heart, this hollow pipe had its ends connected to the veins of the heart. One end of the pipe attached to one vein, and the other end to another vein.
The mana heart then played a crucial role in gathering chaos energy from the body. It absorbed this energy, which circulated throughout Sasaki's muscles.
The chaos energy entered through one end of the pipe, was stored in the hollow tube, and then transferred through the second end back into the body.
This efficient system allowed the chaos energy to flow directly to Sasaki's muscles, particularly those in his hands, enabling him to cast spells with precision and power.
