As we stepped out of Mr. Blackwood's mansion, I felt a chill run down my spine. His words echoed in my mind: "You'll never find Liam in time." What did he mean? Was Liam in danger? I turned to Maya, my eyes wide with fear.
"We have to find Liam now," I said, my voice urgent. Maya nodded, her face set in determination. "We will," she said. "But first, we need to figure out what Mr. Blackwood is planning." I nodded, my mind racing. We walked quickly back to our house, our senses on high alert.
