Fast-forward a bit.
Master Ebuka sat, arms crossed in the dark base. Abby seemed to be serving a spot of hot chocolate in a kettle, seemingly stonefaced.
"It had been a few years since Abby Windsor and I had fully embraced the criminal lifestyle, and things were on the up for us."
"Abby had used her share of the £80 million to build an expensive base near the Emirates Stadium, establishing herself as a millionaire with tons of money. Meanwhile, I, Master Ebuka had claimed room 703 of Lowen Apartments as my base, spending most of my share on recruiting hardened criminals. However, I learnt that I would need a larger base for his growing criminal empire and decided to hold a heist to fund it."
"I have been living the life I was always meant to ever since I embraced the call of evil," Master Ebuka thought, surveying his surroundings. "But to take over the world, I need a bigger base. I need to leave Lowen Apartments and build my own headquarters. How will I do that? Simple. I plan to commence my first-ever bank robbery with Abby Windsor to fund it."
"Master Ebuka. You've been thinking for quite a while now."
"What? Huh? Alright!" he jumped a little bit. "Just a mere zone out tis all," he said.
"So, what did you want to talk about?"
"Ah. Yes. Hey Abby, I need your assistance for a heist. Are you willing to join me?" he asked.
"A heist? With you? Count me in; I never got enough of crime anyway!" Abby replied eagerly.
The heist was complicated: first, Abby would hack into the cameras to disable them before entering. She would remain anonymous by wearing a mask to conceal her identity. Next, she would gain access to the vault by any means necessary. One of Master Ebuka's suggestions was to kill the bank manager, who was scheduled to be dismissed that day, and take his role as the new manager. Then, she would be given the vault code, which she could send to Master Ebuka covertly. Master Ebuka would handle looting the bank. An inside man would guide them within the bank to avoid contact with law enforcement agents.
"Embracing evil was the best decision I ever made," Abby mused. "With my skills, I have made myself a millionaire, much more than I had previously anticipated. I have enough money to live comfortably for the rest of my life and then some. Still, despite everything, the call of evil is so appealing that I can't get enough. I'll be more than happy to assist in another infinite amount of crimes."
Abby hopped on her hoverboard and flew across the city, scouting for a bank to target. They decided on a pretty "Standard" bank nearby and set off.
Abby approached the bank's entrance with the quiet confidence of a seasoned professional, despite this being her first time.
She manoeuvred her way past the guards with precision, dodging and moving faster than their eyesight. Then, she was able to find herself in a dark, high-tech room. It was lined She flicked a switch and found out that it was lined with LEDs. At the helm of it, was a massive hulking computer screen, with an equally proportionately sized keyboard and mouse.
"Hmm. I should buy myself one of these." she said, impressed."
With a few swift keystrokes, she disabled the security system. Then, she released the malicious computer viruses she had meticulously programmed, watching as they infiltrated the bank's network and began dismantling its defences from within. Overhead, the drones she had built for this very moment hovered silently, feeding her real-time data and ensuring there were no surprises. Within minutes, the bank's security lay in shambles, cleared away as easily as cobwebs, paving the way for the Master, who made his way toward the vault. He pacified the security guards using a tranquilizer dart gun, dragging them out of view. Those who saw his face met a far worse fate, as he killed them instantly.
Abby took on the role of the bank manager after killing him post-dismissal, gaining access to the all-important bank codes. With the money in their possession, the inside man had devised an escape route for them.
But as they decided to go further...
"Master Ebuka, do not go any further!" warned the first criminal. "The so-called 'escape route' that your inside man has set up leads straight to a whole squadron of armed police officers."
"Huh? What exactly do you mean by that?" Master Ebuka demanded.
"Did you not just hear me? There are about 150 police officers ahead, Master! Turn around now!" the second criminal urged.
"Hm, let's scan for them to see if these newbies are lying or not," Abby said, pulling out her X-ray scanner.
"Newbies? We've been at it for 20 years!"
To her shock, there were at least 150 officers, just as the criminals had said. She immediately informed Master Ebuka of the betrayal.
"It seems that the inside man planned to frame himself as a hero who discovered the secret operation of the bank robbers and pocket around 20% of the stolen cash for himself. " Master Ebuka mused to himself.
"Master Ebuka, this guy is trying to get us arrested. We need to find a new path and fast; the authorities are soon going to find out about our robbery," Abby reported.
Things quickly spiraled out of control. The traitor, desperate and scrambling, attempted to reactivate the security system he had earlier disabled. His frantic movements were no match for the vigilant criminals who had been shadowing him. They seized him before he could complete his sabotage and dragged him, kicking and pleading, to where Master Ebuka and Abby waited.
Master Ebuka's eyes narrowed with cold fury as he saw the traitor being shoved roughly into the dimly lit room. The air crackled with tension as the traitor, now visibly shaking, was forced to kneel before them.
"Why couldn't you just cooperate with us?!" Master Ebuka's voice boomed, echoing off the walls. Each word was a sharp, accusing lash. "You had one task: to guide us through the bank, and instead, you dare to betray us? You will regret ever daring to oppose us! You had one job, and now look where your treachery has led us!"
Abby's expression was a mix of cold determination and disdain as she watched the traitor squirm. Her gaze locked onto him, her anger barely contained. She crossed her arms, her voice icy and commanding.
"This traitor deserves to perish for his crime against us," Abby declared, her voice cutting through the tension like a knife. "Hold him still while I get my pistol."
The second criminal, a burly figure with a stern, no-nonsense demeanour, nodded sharply. "Understood, Mistress Abby. He needs to pay for daring to oppose you." His voice was steady, with a hint of grim satisfaction as he grabbed the traitor by the collar, forcing him to remain upright despite his attempts to wriggle free.
The traitor's pleas grew more frantic, his voice cracking as he tried to explain himself. "Please, listen! I didn't mean to—"
"Silence!" Master Ebuka roared, his patience worn thin. "Your excuses mean nothing now. You betrayed us, and for that, you will face the consequences."
As Abby retrieved her pistol, the room seemed to hold its breath. The traitor's eyes widened in terror, his futile attempts to squirm free only making his situation more dire. The cold steel of the pistol glinted ominously under the dim light.
"You made a grave mistake by crossing us," she said quietly, her voice a chilling whisper. "This is what happens to those who think they can play us for fools."
With a swift, deliberate motion, Abby raised the pistol and fired. The sound of the gunshot silenced the traitor's final, strangled cry. His body slumped lifelessly to the floor.
Master Ebuka watched with a cold, satisfied gaze, his mind already shifting to the next phase of their plan.
"Let this serve as a warning to anyone who dares to defy us," Master Ebuka said, his voice low and menacing. "In our world, loyalty is rewarded, and betrayal is met with swift and merciless justice."
The three mysterious criminals, along with Master Ebuka and Abby, made their escape from the heist with impressive loot: approximately £3.5 billion, along with a pogo stick. The stolen funds were quickly used, as Master Ebuka began constructing his grand vision—Master Ebuka HQ. This new base would serve as the nerve centre of his operations.
"The criminals who had revealed the traitor's deceit were none other than the feared No Damage Squad: Prosaic, Pack Attack, and Cyberman65. There was Prosaic, the squad's leader, who had a storied history of frequent incarcerations since my rise to prominence. Pack Attack, a hulking figure, was deceptively quick-witted and agile, his appearance belying his formidable intellect and speed. And of course, Cyberman65. He had sacrificed his humanity to become a fearsome cyborg. Together, they formed a ruthless team, dedicated to their sinister cause. And now, they're integral members of the Master Ebuka Association of Master Ebuka, or MEAME. Pretty good name if I don't say so myself."
"Master Ebuka?"
"Oh yeah, right!"
"It was quite fortunate that these guys saved us from the trap the traitor set," she said. "This heist has taught us an invaluable lesson: no one is to be trusted until they prove their worth to MEAME. We should ensure that loyalty is the only currency that matters."
"Agreed. Let us begin."
Over the ensuing months, Master Ebuka and Abby took drastic measures to solidify their control. They purged MEAME of over twenty individuals suspected of treachery, making it clear that betrayal would not be tolerated. Their base became a place where only the strongest and most loyal thrived, devoid of sympathy or kindness. It was the perfect embodiment of the ruthless environment they aimed to cultivate.
Master Ebuka, ever the strategist, took satisfaction in the firm grip he had on his empire. "Gaining control as a villain is remarkably simple," he mused. "Eliminate those who dare to question your authority, and the rest will fall in line, silencing themselves out of fear of suffering the same fate."
With their position solidified, Master Ebuka and Abby continued their criminal enterprises with unrelenting efficiency. They remained perpetually ahead of the law, their actions so well concealed that investigations rarely, if ever, connected them to the myriad crimes they committed.
The world would soon learn to fear the name Master Ebuka and the ruthless might of MEAME.
