The next few days, I was in my room when I received a call from one of the interviewers, I wasn't expecting the call at all, I cleared my throat before I answered.
"Hello?" I said cautiously.
"Hi, is this Joanna?" a familiar voice asked. I recognized the voice as one of the interviewers from the airline company.
"Yes, it is."
"Hi Joanna, this is Emily from United Airlines. We met a few days ago during your flight attendant interview." I wondered where this was going.
"Hi Emily, how are you?" "I'm fine, thanks. I'm calling to follow up on your interview. We were impressed with your skills and experience, and we'd like to offer you the position." I was thrilled.
"Really? Thank you so much." However, before I could accept, Emily added,
"But we do need to discuss one thing. Our training program starts in tomorrow and we need to ensure you're available to start on time." My heart skipped a beat.
