"Kirikkikkikkik"
The goblin folk present were in vivid discussions.
"Ik'lana m'akuto pekana malia?"
(Why was he talking to our enemies, has he gone mad?)
"A'kala muntope rak'kana kamia."
(His father did the same thing and look where that got us...)
"Wak'uma l'apanga loum."
(May he never find peace.)
An elder goblin motioned to the two to stop talking.
"Alman'ka kum antari."
(Be quiet. If the king hears you, you'll be dragged to the chambers like the rest.)
"Werka pn'tula mahi."
(Despicable creatures they think I can't hear them?)
"Mi'i Ka'ngi mali tama."
(My king, it's time.)
"Saman p'ali akum'ang tu..."
(But his Shamanic abilities are without rival...)
"...uhnta paku."
(...here he comes.)
The doors gently creaked open. Out from the darkness came a white skinned being adorning a skull helmet with red feathers. They danced lightly against the wind. It was nighttime by then.
The light from the illuminating flames made the numerous eyes hidden in the darkness sparkle like stars in the night sky.
"K...Khm."
"R'eklana atuma monka um..."
(As you all know, the ones before us usually have a unique way of connecting to us...)
"Op'ran tumkela atito kun..."
(...in an unforgiving way or vice versa...)
He took a short pause then he continued, the starry eyes listening silently, unblinking.
"...hah..."
"...l'okela kalima kon'pa."
(...today was a perfect example of that.)
"Re'kana mupto kuman..."
(He actually looks hurt...)
"Bakumo tu'nga pumanti..."
(But I've come to a certain realization...)
He took a longer pause.
"..."
"...Ung'etra p'okka menta ila."
(...Unforgiving scenarios reward the best.)
This stirred the entire forest.
The bulked guards struck their heavy spears down twice and the chatter was no more.
"Tanku."
(Thank you.)
The king cleared his throat once more.
"I kolnte kum'paka tume ilkona."
(Show them what I saw in my dream.)
A lady who was standing behind the king the whole time tossed the wrapped item to the audience.
They altogether looked at the bandaged item and back to the king.
"On'pa."
(Open it.)
There was a ruffle.
Silence.
A gasp.
Silence.
Then an all-around cry of joy that shook the entire forest.
They held the head up high. It belonged to the king of the western lands, one of their neighbors who they constantly fought with.
One of the goblins spoke up.
"Bunka ankang'kang' tuklina...!"
(But wait, if they got his head, doesn't that mean...!)
They all stared at the king.
"..."
"Ku kakata kalaka..."
(You have finally seen it...)
"...popoka."
(...victory.)
"..."
7:00A.M.
"...Since its multi-regional you can decide to clear all of them or use a stone once you're done with one region."
He pointed to a brown box with horrible scribbling on it.
"You pick one and get in."
"I hope there are no more questions."
Baxter raised his hand.
"What now?"
"I need to pee."
"Shower the goblins as you much as you see fit."
"Well that crashed..."
Baxter lost his smugness.
"...and burned."
"Thank you so much for agreeing to be in our team."
"..."
Park looked over Ash's shoulder and back to him.
"Am not that scary, am I?"
"Give him time."
The Green hair behind Ash nodded in agreement.
"The last three please hurry up!"
"Oh! It's our turn!"
Park reached in the box and pulled out a balled-up fist. His knuckles whitened.
"Don't break it."
He didn't even notice it.
"Yeah! Right."
They pocketed their rocks and got in.
"..."
"So, what do you think they actually look..."
"Earth Wall."
An arrow was now just some inches away from Ash's left eye.
"Quite a strong welcome we have here."
"Kikikikikikik."
Park's senses were triggered.
"Earth's embrace."
They could all see it from within the enclosure. Tiny metal arrowheads poked through.
"Why are they so agitated..."
"UKPO...! UKPO...! KAKUMO TA UKPO...!"
(WAIT...! WAIT...! I SAID WAIT...!)
"..."
"...what's that?"
"She's telling them to wait."
They all looked at Park.
"...What..."
"..."
"I understood them, didn't I?"
There was a knocking on the earth mound.
"Should we?"
After a brief moment of thought, the earthen shell opened up. It unraveled like a flower in bloom as each tendril got hold of the arrows gently discarding them away.
"Greetings travelers of another world..."
"She can speak our language!"
"Indeed."
"I wish to formally apologize for the warriors' actions."
"Apology taken."
"Hathera kumonka kak'namana?"
(Saved by those devils?)
"K'onpalaka."
One warrior spat.
The female goblin sighed.
"Let's just go. The King awaits."
She led them into the jungle.
"...also please be wary of your surroundings, our habitats tend to have unforeseen effects on your kind."
"Then we just have to prepare in kind."
{Shadow has been linked to Ash's shadow.]
{A full link has been established.]
{All shadows are in close proximity to the user.]
{The shadows' stats have slightly increased.]
"Looks like they are still alert of us."
"..."
"Your senses are really sharp. But don't worry about them, it's just because of recent events. That's all."
"What of..."
"Any other questions that are anything but general shall be answered by the King."
"Sorry."
"No problem."
"We're here."
She reached into her bag and pulled out a dagger. Plain looking with a dull blade. There were unimpressed at best.
Or so they thought.
kekeke... so they are still around.
With one slice the space ripped.
"Is this one of those boundaries you mentioned?"
Park held Maruna's hand.
"That quick huh? No stranger danger?"
Park chuckled.
"No but it's something similar."
The rest linked their hands to each other and disappeared into the rip.
The town looked vibrant.
"Why did it take us directly to the King's hall?"
"Wouldn't want to ruin the festive mood..."
She pointed outside.
"...and also, the dagger you saw was a bit more special than the rest that they use."
"But it looked so..."
"...normal?"
"Normal's a better word actually."
"Try..."
"...boring."
"My king!"
She bowed in reverence.
"I see you brought them."
Maruna forced Park's head in a bow and the chain followed up to the last.
"..."
"Hahaha...I feel younger already. You may rise."
They could now see him more clearly. He was more of Charles's height. White skin, a skull helmet with green leaves on it. He was smiling ear to ear.
"You did a good job."
"Thank you."
Someone came into the room.
"So that's the advisor."
He gently spoke to the king.
"The representatives have arrived."
"..."
"But I don't know how they will feel about them."
"But they were in my dreams."
"One was, my king."
"The more, the merrier."
"..."
"As you wish."
The advisor bowed and left the room.
"Is there a problem?"
"...sadly yes."
"The people in down there do not view your kin in that good of a light."
"Can these help?"
Ash was shaking three purple vials.
"Converters?"
"How...?"
"Don't ask."
"What are those?"
The king curiously looked at the glass tubes.
"These are called converters. They can solve that slight problem that we currently have."
"So, if you drink them, you'll become like us?"
"Exactly."
"But I've never tried it before. Of course I can't tell them that."
"Please hurry up then. I reckon I've kept my visitors waiting far too long."
"Maruna..."
"Hmm...?"
"..."
"Uhhh...may I...?"
"..."
"Even for a king there is a level of respect that he should show us."
One of the guards spoke up.
"Watch your tongue Rumpara."
"What's this...? A mere knight dares...?"
Another representative held Rumpara back.
"Easy my brother. Look..."
The king stepped out of his room.
"...he's here."
"Finally!"
The advisor rushed before the king.
"You're he..."
"..."
"...what just happened?"
"I'll tell you all about it later. But for now, my guests take priority."
"Welcome my dear brothers to my humble abode. I am dearly sorry for making you wait."
"There was a bit of an issue with my dear representatives you see. I hope you can forgive me."
"No! No! No! No! No! Why! Why! Why! Why!"
"Why would a king be that invested in his subjects?"
"I'd rather you see it for yourselves."
