Chereads / Super Evil Charming CEO Husband / Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Chapter 3 - Chapter 3

Grace didn't chase her out; she knew her daughter would come back. Her filial daughter would never leave her behind, even if her daughter hated her to the bone right now. Grace walked to the small living room, and the black-and-white picture of her husband on the wall immersed the whole room in grief. "What I can't do, our daughter will be able to do!"

Jennifer stared at the phone at the booth in disbelief. Who should she call? She really wished she had someone to talk to. But what should she say? She often told people how much her mom cared about her. What if now she told her friends that her mom had sold her for money?

Jennifer's tears kept flowing, but she never dared to approach any of her friends. Let her suffer alone. Jennifer stared up at the gray sky. The night in Seattle was really annoying. Yes, she wanted to leave the city and never return for the rest of her life.

Seattle leaned against the phone booth and cried, "I wish I had known that I would have fallen in love in college. I would have been better off having sex with my boyfriend. If I weren't a virgin, maybe the old man wouldn't have wanted me!"

What the hell was she? A commodity? A piece of cargo worth half a billion dollars? It was amazing that she could be worth that much money. Jennifer was tired of crying and was going to drink her troubles away.

Jennifer walked over to the grocery store, which was not far away, and said, "Excuse me, I need two beers!" She couldn't drink too much; her mom would worry if she got really drunk and couldn't go home.

She hit herself hard on the head at the thought, "Your mom doesn't care about you anymore. Why do you care about her?!" Jennifer paid for the beer can, grabbed it, and headed to the curb to sit casually.

She took a big gulp of her beer and almost threw up. In a fit of pique, Jennifer threw the unfinished beer can into the middle of the road as hard as she could.

Her luck seemed to be super bad, and she actually hit a good-quality car that was driving by. The beer hall didn't break the glass of the car, but the beer was spilled all over the window. Jennifer hurriedly stood up, "OMG! I'm in trouble. What should I do? What if the car owner gets out and makes me pay for it?"

Jennifer rummaged through her bag and found less than a hundred dollars. All she could do was stare at the car that had just stopped. Suddenly, Jennifer slung her purse over her shoulder and ran away as fast as possible.

"Stop!" A man roared from behind her.OMG, the car owner really wasn't going to let her go. Why was she so unlucky? Not only was she forced into a marriage today, but now she was in so much trouble.

Jennifer didn't dare to look behind her to see if the man was following her or not. She ran desperately with her head down.

After running for a long time, she finally got tired. Jennifer stopped and looked behind her. The man actually did not catch up. She finally let out a sigh of relief. Now, she realized how sore her legs were. Looking back, Jennifer realized that she had collided with a handsome man. The man was looking at her with a smile.

"Sorry, I was just being chased by a wild dog, so I didn't notice anyone ahead." Jennifer couldn't help but look at the man a few more times. The man wore a white suit that looked very elegant, and the black shirt inside added a bit more wildness to him. His charming smile made people look at him, and they couldn't help but be moved.
