Hitoshi was very clearly not expecting the most heavy question right of the bat. His eyes narrowed clearly searching the shorter boy's face for any malice or disgust.
"Don't worry we already know the basics of your quirk!" Mei waved off. "ZuZu took notes on it while you used it during the tests."
Izuku looked up at him, curiosity apparent in his eyes.
"Oh! How 'bout we tell you our quirks first?" Izuku proposed excitedly.
"My quirk's called Zoom! I can zoom my eyesight in or out at will! It's really helpful when building small babies!" As if to give an example, the cross-hairs in her eyes shrunk and got wider.
"Inventions. She calls her inventions, her babies because she makes them." Izuku helpfully supplied the stock-still Hitoshi.
Izuku got both quieter and closer to the taller boy like he was sharing classified information.
"And legally I'm quirkless, but I manifested late so I named my quirk Yeet. I can summon anything of my imagination. It takes a lot of stamina and energy though when it's bigger things that I summon." Izuku explained. As an example, he held out his hand and summoned a black, tuxedo cat. He handed the cat to Hitoshi.
"Hope you're not allergic. You look like a cat person tho," his gaze turned cold all of a sudden, like a switch had been flipped. "Do not tell anyone about this. Only MeiMei and Aki-san, MeiMei's mom, know about my quirk. If that bitch Inko finds out she'll only get worse."
Hitoshi nodded mutely.
"Right! Your turn!" Again his mood took an entire 180. Gone was the heavy and thick aura, and back was the cheery, bouncy aura. Hitoshi felt like he was experiencing emotional whiplash.
"Um sure I guess. I need a verbal response to a question I ask and then I can control them." Hitoshi waited for the disgust and hatred to radiate off of the two support students, but it never came.
"Alright cool cool." Izuku wrote down notes on what Hitoshi had just said and some potential questions and experiments to run with the taller teen.
"Ok so here's what we're going to doㄧ"
~~~~~~
Hitoshi walked back to his class, thoroughly terrified of the two support students and feeling as though this year wouldn't be too bad.
Black Wolf jumped from roof to roof. It had been awhile since he had just let himself run free in the middle of the night and not worry about school. He felt relaxed as the wind blew past him, trying and failing, to brush his hood off of his head. He had made sure that not even wind could blow it back after his first night out as a vigilante. He didn't want to get caught so easily, so he attached the inside of his hood to the strap that lay on the top of his head, holding up his mask. It was quite easy to figure out how to sew strong enough magnets onto both the inside of the hood and the strap.
His head slightly twitched to the left - a tell he had developed after a while of running from bullies when he was still quirkless - with the feeling of being watched. Unless the person was looking for it, the tell went unnoticed by most people. Slowing down his pace he spun around to face the silhouette of a pro hero he had grown fairly close to over the years - though he wouldn't tell that to the hero.
Sue him, if he thought of the only kind older man as a sort of father figure. What do you want him to do? Not get attached to the only Underground Hero who doesn't try to bring him in any chance he gets?
"Yo Eraserhead!" Black Wolf called out. "Not here to try and tie me up again are you? I must say I did not enjoy it all that well the last time."
He cheekily smirked behind his mask, the LED lights mirroring his expression so Eraserhead could see as well. The hero huffed.
"No kid. And stop insinuating that's what my capture weapon is for." The man looked extremely tired, but there was a hint of something Black Wolf couldn't decipher in his tone.
"No can do old man!" The vigilante sat down on the roof, a silent invitation for the hero to do the same.
"Problem Child. Will you at least tell me the school you're attending or are you going to make me go on a wild goose chase?" Eraserhead sighed. Black Wolf could tell that he just wanted to know and there were no ulterior motives, at least ones that involved him getting arrested, in his question.
"Mmm," the vigilante hummed. "No I don't think I willㄧ" he held up a hand to silence the hero, "ㄧbut I can give you small hints if we happen to run into each other while I'm in my civilian clothes."
Again the vigilante wasn't going to drop even the vaguest of hints that he attended school where the hero taught. Internally laughing at the hero's attempts to mask the disappointed expression on his face, Black Wolf was already planning all the ways he could drop hints for the hero.
Oh what a fun year this was going to be.
The next morning, specifically 6:30 am, saw both Izuku and MeiMei leaving the house together. (it's a wonder your Aunt Mitsuki hasn't reported you as a missing child yet. Tf? lol) Donned in their cargo pants - Izuku's black and MeiMei's dark blue - and U.A. uniform shirt with their own hoodies tied around their waists - Izuku with a homemade Eraserhead hoodie and MeiMei with just a plain black hoodie -, they made their way to the train station.
Since it was so early in the morning, the train station wasn't packed with people. The two had left extra early so they could work on the gear they promised Toshi they'd have. Granted they told Toshi they'd have it ready for him by the end of the week, but they were both excited. So they couldn't wait and wanted to get a head start on it. Luckily their student passes let them into the school at any time; day or night.
They waited for their train in not so quiet whispers. When the train arrived, without breaking conversation, the duo stepped onto the train and headed back towards an empty double seater. Sitting down, they shoved their bags under their seats and continued discussing how best to go about making Toshi's support gear.
"Maybe we can make him his own scarf. Like Eraserhead's!" Izuku whisper-exclaimed.
"Yeah but first we'd have to take his scarf, and that's gonna be hard unless he's unconscious with no chance of waking up." MeiMei defeatedly sighed.
"Oh don't worry. I can get him to hand it over to us pretty easily." Izuku's grin stretched from ear to ear, almost an exact replica of Eraserhead's famous "logical ruse" grin.
The train ride lasted for 10 minutes, as they didn't live that far from U.A. in the first place. Quickly exiting the train station, they walked as quickly as they could to the front gates, and scanned their passes.
Shouta's day started out normal. Wake up, drink copious cups of coffee before husband wakes up, once husband wakes up get ready for the school day as aforementioned husband makes them both coffee and breakfast. Consume breakfast and coffee, then head out to work at 7:20 after the blonde gets himself ready for work.
Keyword: started . When he got to school, there was an ominous note on his desk. Cautiously picking up the note, he opened it to read out a quick:
"Yo Eraserhead! Dude buddy! Do me a favor and lend ur BDSM scarf to those 2 little support course students….Hatsume Mei and Midoriya Izuku I believe their names are! If u do, the next time we meet up on patrol I'll give u a crumb of the info u want! <3 Thx! XOXO Black Wolf"
He sighed. On one hand, he couldn't just loan his scarf to two random support course students, but on the other; if he did, Black Wolf would give him a clue as to the school he was attending. It's not like Black Wolf would know if he actually gave them his scarf…right? Shouta looked down at his desk to see a sticky note under where the note was moments before. Picking it up he read it as well:
"P.S. I'll know if u don't give it to them. I have my ways of finding out. They just want it 4 some harmless experiments and testing. They also promised to return it to u by the earliest 4th period and latest; 7th."
Harmless experiments his ass. Shouta heard Majima grumbling about those two, just from yesterday's events. Whatever. Shouta sighed, resigning himself to the day without his capture scarf. He left the lounge and headed towards the support department classrooms. This was going to be a long day.
