Honey
After I had finished eating, we got into Connor's Black Jeep Cherokee. I had no sooner buckled my seat belt and we were tearing out of the driveway. We drove along a paved road, the road twisted through the pine trees almost like we were on the back of a snake. The sky was overcast and it made the forest we were driving through seem ominous. I was looking out the window, and said, "It is creepily beautiful, isn't it?"
"That it is," Connor agreed.
"So, where are we going?" I asked, wanting to take my mind off of the forest outside of my window.
"It is a place I like going to clear my head and to just get away from it all whenever I need a break. I have a feeling you're going to love it," he replied.
Realising Connor wasn't going to elaborate beyond that, I just kept looking out the window and out the windscreen, seeing if I could see anything interesting in the trees. The only thing I could see though, was the creepy forest.
