Aidan stood his ground, a surge of confidence coursing through him. He had three of the strongest mutants by his side: Kitty, Bobby, and Jubilation. They were going to take down Avalanche together, he was sure of it.

But as the confrontation began, Bobby quickly formed an ice barrier, encasing them in a thick wall of frost. "Everyone, get back! I'll hold him off!" Bobby shouted, his voice strained.

Aidan frowned, confusion furrowing his brow. "What are you talking about? We can take him on together!" He looked to Bobby, only to find the other boy sweating profusely, his face pale. Aidan's heart sank as he realized the truth—Bobby was exhausted. He had barely managed to create the barrier, and it wouldn't hold for long.

The harsh reality hit him: these were kids, not the seasoned heroes he remembered from the shows. They were scared, vulnerable, and far from the powerful mutants they could be. A wave of determination washed over him. "You guys need to get out of here. Now!" he commanded, his tone leaving no room for argument.

"What? No way! We're not leaving you!" Kitty protested, her eyes wide with disbelief.

"Just go! Leave Avalanche to me!" Aidan's voice rang out firm and resolute.

Avalanche, lurking just outside the barrier, sneered at their exchange. "You think you can run? This is where your story ends!"

Before the others could argue further, the ground shook violently as Avalanche unleashed another small quake, breaking through the ice barrier. In the ensuing chaos, Jubilation wasted no time. She gathered her energy and unleashed a blast of electricity, hitting Avalanche square in the chest.

He staggered back, stunned for just a moment. Aidan saw his chance. Channeling his wind magic, he leaped into the air, shouting, "Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!"

A powerful burst of wind erupted from his hands, slicing through the air and catching Avalanche off guard. The force of the attack pushed him backward, cutting into his flesh and leaving deep lacerations.

"Now! Get out of here!" Aidan shouted, turning to his friends.

Bobby and Jubilation were clearly exhausted, their energy spent. They exchanged a look of understanding with Kitty, who nodded reluctantly. "Okay, Aidan. We trust you!" Bobby gasped, panting heavily.

Without another word, they fled, leaving Aidan alone to face the fury of Avalanche.

Avalanche's expression twisted with rage as he locked eyes on Aidan, his voice low and threatening. "For that, I will destroy you!"

As he watched them Leave, Aiden turned to Avalanche

The trees rustled as the ground beneath them rumbled from Avalanche's attack, the forest now a chaotic battlefield. Aidan stood across from the older mutant, the wind swirling around him, his eyes sharp and focused. The tension was thick in the air, but Aidan felt a grin tugging at his lips. He couldn't help it. This was going to be fun.

"Not so tough without your little friends, huh?" Avalanche sneered, his eyes filled with hate. He clenched his fists, ready to trigger another earthquake. "You should've run with them, kid. Now you'll be buried under your own arrogance!"

Aidan rolled his eyes, clearly unimpressed. "Buried? Please. The only thing getting buried here is your ego when I wipe the floor with your third-rate villain ass."

Avalanche's face twisted with rage, his fists slamming into the ground as a shockwave rippled through the earth. The trees shook violently, and the ground beneath Aidan cracked. Aidan quickly jumped back, avoiding the split in the earth by a hair.

"You little—!" Avalanche growled, raising both hands to send more tremors in Aidan's direction.

Aidan, still smirking, raised his arms, feeling the wind gather around him. "Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!" he shouted, unleashing a powerful whirlwind of air that tore through the trees like a storm, aimed directly at Avalanche.

The wind crashed into Avalanche with tremendous force, throwing him backward into a nearby tree. The villain grunted, struggling to keep his footing as the attack cut into his skin, leaving him gasping for breath. His face twisted in disbelief.

"You... You're just a kid!" he spat, wiping blood from his lip.

Aidan landed softly on his feet, his mocking grin never leaving his face. "A kid who's kicking your ass. What's that make you, old man? Pathetic."

Avalanche's face turned beet red with fury. "I'll rip you apart!"

He slammed his fists into the ground again, causing the earth to tremble violently. Chunks of dirt and stone flew into the air, but Aidan was already moving, his body becoming a blur.

"Fast wind that runs the heaven... Vernier!" Aidan's voice rang out, and in an instant, his speed increased, making him almost impossible to track. He weaved effortlessly through the quakes, dodging every attempt Avalanche made to hit him.

"What the—!? Stand still!" Avalanche shouted, clearly frustrated.

"Why? So you can keep embarrassing yourself?" Aidan shot back, circling the man with dizzying speed. "You'd think a guy who controls earthquakes would be a little more dangerous, but nah—you're just sad."

Avalanche roared in anger, swinging wildly at Aidan, but he couldn't land a single hit. "I'll kill you! You're nothing but a loud-mouthed brat!"

"Oh, I'm so scared," Aidan taunted, his voice dripping with sarcasm as he leapt into the air. "Let me show you what a real attack looks like! Sky Dragon's Claw!"

In mid-air, Aidan brought his foot down in a powerful arc, unleashing a massive gust of wind from his leg that tore through the forest like a blade. The force hit Avalanche square in the chest, sending him crashing through several trees, each impact leaving him more battered than before.

Avalanche groaned, struggling to get back to his feet, his body covered in cuts and bruises. His breathing was ragged, his anger now mixed with fear. "You... little... bastard..."

Aidan landed gracefully, dusting off his hands. "Damn right I am." His face darkened with a smirk. "You talk a lot of trash for a guy who's losing to a 'loud-mouthed brat.'"

Avalanche's fists clenched as he pushed himself up, shaking with fury. "I'll destroy you! I'll destroy this entire forest if I have to!"

"You could try," Aidan said, his tone now more serious. He could feel the wind gathering around him, the power building up inside. It was time to finish this. "But I'm not giving you the chance."

Avalanche charged at him, desperate and blinded by rage, but Aidan was already ready. He inhaled deeply, feeling the energy surge through him as the winds intensified.

"Sky Dragon's Roar!" he shouted, his voice echoing through the forest.

A massive, hurricane-like blast of wind erupted from Aidan's mouth, the force of the attack unlike anything Avalanche had seen before. The blast tore through the ground, uprooting trees and slamming into Avalanche with the power of a natural disaster. The sheer force of the attack lifted Avalanche off his feet and hurled him through the forest, his body crashing into the earth like a ragdoll.

When the wind finally settled, Avalanche lay motionless in a pile of debris, his body battered and broken. Aidan exhaled, wiping sweat from his brow as he surveyed the damage.

"Maybe next time, pick on someone your own size," Aidan said as he walked towards him

Aidan stood over Avalanche's battered form, the wind still swirling around him, ready to strike again. His eyes narrowed as he raised his hand, wind gathering at his fingertips. One final slash, and this fight would be over. He walked toward the defeated villain, the wind around him intensifying, shaping into blades. Avalanche was barely conscious, but he still glared at Aidan with hatred.

"Time to end this," Aidan muttered to himself, preparing to unleash his magic.

Just as he was about to strike, a loud crack of thunder echoed through the sky. Lightning flashed, and a bolt of electricity struck the ground right in front of him, forcing him to stop dead in his tracks. The shockwave sent a jolt through his body, and he stepped back instinctively, eyes wide.

"What the—?"

He looked up, and there stood Storm, her eyes glowing with power as she descended gracefully from above. The storm clouds loomed overhead, swirling ominously. Her voice cut through the chaos, firm and commanding.

"Enough, Aidan! Your enemy has already been defeated!"

Aidan's heart pounded, his adrenaline still high from the fight, but he clenched his fists, forcing the wind to settle. His eyes met Storm's, frustration flickering in his gaze. He wasn't done—he could finish this. "He deserves it—"

"I said enough!" Storm's voice rang out sharply, and her expression left no room for argument.

Before Aidan could protest further, Beast arrived, charging in with surprising speed for his size. He moved quickly to Avalanche, cuffing the unconscious villain with metal restraints designed for mutants. Once Avalanche was secure, Beast turned to Aidan, his face a mix of concern and disapproval.

"You've done well to protect your friends and yourself," Beast said in his deep, rumbling voice, his eyes softening slightly. "But what you did was reckless, Aidan. You put yourself in far more danger than you realize."

Aidan tensed, his fists still clenched as the remnants of wind whipped around him. He didn't like being lectured, especially when he had been in control the whole time—or so he thought.

Beast's expression grew more serious. "You could have died, or worse, you could have taken a life." He gestured to Avalanche's unconscious form. "If you had gone any further, there would have been blood on your hands."

"He deserved it!" Aidan shouted, his voice filled with raw emotion. "Avalanche was about to kill me, kill all of us!"

Beast, who had just finished cuffing Avalanche, nodded slowly. "You're right, Aidan. He did deserve to be stopped." He met Aidan's fiery gaze with a calm, understanding expression. "But there's a difference between stopping someone and ending them. As mutants, we walk a delicate line. The world doesn't trust us, and if blood is spilled every time we're threatened, it would only push us back to the dark days of mutant persecution."

Aidan frowned, still on edge. "But he was going to—"

"I know," Beast interrupted gently, standing and placing a firm, yet kind, hand on Aidan's shoulder. "But you're still young. You shouldn't have to carry the weight of blood on your hands. We've fought for years to show the world that we're more than just weapons. If we give in to anger, fear, and violence every time, we risk undoing everything we've worked for."

Aidan clenched his jaw, the fight still burning in his chest, but Beast's words began to sink in. He wasn't just thinking about this battle. He was thinking about the bigger picture—the world outside of this fight.

Beast's voice softened further. "You've done well to protect your friends, Aidan. You showed great courage today. But there's more to being a hero than just winning battles."

Storm, who had been watching quietly, stepped forward. "You're just a kid, Aidan. You don't deserve to have blood on your hands. That's why we're here—to guide you, to make sure you never have to bear that burden."

Aidan looked down, fists still trembling, but the intensity of his anger was fading. He let out a slow breath, the winds around him finally calming. "I… I get it," he muttered, though he still felt the weight of the moment.

Beast nodded, satisfied. "Now, go check on your friends. They're worried about you."

Aidan glanced over at where Bobby, Kitty, and Jubilee were standing, concern etched on their faces. He gave a small nod, his gaze softening as he started walking toward them.
