Lucas and his team moved swiftly through the woods, the darkness providing cover as they made their way toward Steven's house. The confrontation with Abomination had taken its toll on all of them, but they couldn't afford to slow down. Abomination's words echoed in Lucas's mind—filled with rage and a determination that bordered on madness. Lucas knew that they had only bought themselves a little time.
"We need to keep moving," Lucas urged, his voice low but steady. "He's not going to give up that easily."
"Damn right," Spark muttered, rubbing her arm where Abomination had struck her telekinetic shield with his bare fists. "That guy's like a freight train. We're going to need a better plan if he comes after us again."
Sam, still in his Nexsteel suit, nodded. "We gave it everything we had, and he still kept coming. I'm not sure how much more of this suit can take."
