"Who are you?"
Abraham stared in shock at John, who stood with his back to the group.
Even Ephraim and Nora were shocked, their expressions guarded. John's sudden appearance had startled them.
That speed was not humanly possible!
"Now is not the time to discuss this!"
John's eyes were fixed on the direction Eichhorst had fled. The next moment, his body moved to meet the attacking vampires.
Eichhorst had directed the vampires towards John to facilitate his escape.
The next moment, under the stunned gazes of Abraham and the others, heads flew through the air, and tendrils that tried to pierce John couldn't even touch his clothes.
In the faint light, John's silver sword gleamed like lightning, slicing through the night. One terrifying vampire after another fell to his blade!
Compared to Abraham's simple and powerful strike, John's swordsmanship was far more profound—thrusts, slashes, and cuts, all executed with extreme precision. It was a visual spectacle as blood splattered everywhere!
"...Oh, my God!!!"
The vampires were being slaughtered one-sidedly. Ephraim and Nora watched in horror. Even Vasiliy, who had seen John's skills before, had a flicker of fear in his eyes!
The way he killed, as effortlessly as mowing down grass, was chilling, even though these "people" had become vampires!
"Hurry! Follow him!"
Abraham, unfazed, led the group in pursuit of John. He had secretly shone his ultraviolet light on John an action noticed by Ephraim and the others.
Sensing the group following him, John's lips curled into a slight smile. The next moment, he became a blur, and more vampires fell to his silver sword!
With a vampire fleeing in panic being impaled by his thrown sword, John's figure vanished from sight, only to reappear before the vampire, pulling out his sword and disappearing into the night as a blur.
"Wait!"
Abraham shouted, but John's figure vanished into the distance.
"Hey, hey!"
Dutch Velders suddenly rushed out from a rundown street store, a vampire hot on her heels.
She ran out in terror, shouting as she rushed towards Vasiliy and the others. Vasiliy frowned, leaping past her to confront the pale figure. As the vampire opened its mouth to extend its tendrils, his spear shot out, piercing its mouth instantly!
Roar!
The vampire's growl was cut short as Vasiliy approached, his waterproof boots crushing the vampire's head. As he pulled out his spear, he stepped back to avoid the unknown liquid.
"Hey, buddy, your skills are impressive!"
Dutch's eyes sparkled as she looked at Vasiliy.
"You were hiding in the store?"
Vasiliy frowned at the woman with long blonde hair and heavy smoky makeup.
"No choice, there are monsters everywhere outside!" Dutch said with a helpless expression, showing no remorse for not stepping out to help earlier.
"Alright! Let's get out of here!"
Abraham's gaze lingered on the spot where John had disappeared, filled with deep meaning.
Soon, the group returned to Abraham's basement.
"Wow!"
Dutch exclaimed, looking at a huge crossbow on the wall.
"That was used to hunt vampires in the past!"
Abraham's expression darkened. The night's events had exceeded his expectations, and the mysterious Asian man's appearance had planted an idea in his mind!
He looked at Vasiliy with urgency: "Do you know that man?"
Vasiliy hesitated, then nodded.
"I just met him. His target is also the Master!"
"Strange, why haven't I encountered him before? He has the speed of a high-level vampire, yet he's not one?"
Abraham looked incredulous.
"He told me the Master seems to be hiding in the sewers!"
Vasiliy said softly.
!
Abraham's eyes lit up, and he trembled as if he had heard some great news!
"Let's go!"
He said, surprising the group as he grabbed his cane and headed out.
Nora grabbed the eager old man, her face serious: "You're not going to kill that vampire master now, are you?"
"We can't let him escape!"
Abraham, usually composed, was now exhilarated knowing the Master's location, even putting thoughts of John aside!
"Madman!"
Dutch muttered, unable to understand the old man. She believed running from bloodthirsty monsters was the rational choice.
"I'm going with you!"
Vasiliy said gravely. Noble and just, he wanted to end this disaster, which was why he stayed!
This was also part of John's plan. Though he knew the Master hid in the sewers, he didn't know how to find him. That's why he had Vasiliy "coincidentally" meet Abraham and the others!
He wanted them to follow the original plot, find the Master's location quickly, and end it once and for all.
In Red Hook, New York, a figure approached a heavily guarded building.
He looked at the plaque beside the building.
"Stoneheart Group"
John walked in calmly. Two security guards in suits stopped him.
"Who are you?"
One of them, a burly man, demanded. The next moment, their necks were grabbed and lifted off the ground by John's immense strength, who smiled at the panicked Stoneheart employees in the lobby.
"I want to see Eldritch!"
Bang!
A gunshot rang out, and the security guards fell. John turned into a blur, instantly appearing beside the shooter.
With a lightning-fast kick, the man flew like a cannonball, crashing into the marble wall of the Stoneheart building!
The impact left cracks and blood on the wall, and the man seemed near death.
John's gaze swept over the terrified people, none daring to point a gun at him again!
