Deep within the mysterious cave, a colossal spider, Arachnox, had been lurking on its web, that stretching far across the ceiling.
Suddenly, the beast dropped down from the ceiling with lightning speed, its sharp legs pointing downward, thrusting towards Reychard's team.
"Dodge it!" Reychard shouted.
Bam! Crack!
Reychard's team was caught off guard as Arachnox hit the ground hard, sending dust and debris flying into the air. The impact shook the entire area, leaving the team reeling.
Fortunately, they managed to dodge the surprise attack by mere seconds. If they had been even a millisecond late, they would have been impaled by Arachnox's sharp legs and their bodies would have been torn apart by the sheer force of the impact.
Nikos coughed, his hand brushing away the dust in front of his face as he struggled to stand up.
"Are you okay, sir?" Liriel asked, quickly helping Nikos to his feet.
