Chapter 7 - Ch7- Travel to his place

When the phone tolled again, Micha picked it up, hearing her mama's voice on the other end." Micha, take care of yourself and make sure you eat well. We are just about to leave." Micha responded vocally," Okay, Mom. On the weekend, I am planning to visit another city to meet some buddies." Her mama replied with a gentle," Alright, take care of yourself," before saying goodbye.

After the call ended, Micha moved still to her bedroom, tidying up her effects. She picked up her phone, played some comforting music, and also slipped into the restroom for a long, soothing bath. An hour later, feeling refreshed, she finished her bath and took care of her laundry, hanging the clothes out to dry under the evening sky.

With the housework done, Micha turned her attention to preparing the feast. She moved around the kitchen with ease, enjoying the peaceful aloneness. Once the feast was ready, she settled down to watch a movie, savoring the quiet moments as she ate. Subsequently, she drew up and made her way to her bedroom, the day's conditioning leaving her feeling happy but tired.

As she lay in bed, Micha reached for her phone and texted So Hyung," Are you free this weekend?" His response came snappily," Not too important." With a smile, she replied," Okay, moreover I will come to your place this weekend. I miss you so much."

They changed communications, participating in studies and horselaughing until Micha made up her mind — she would visit him that weekend, eager to be by his side. With that decision made, she felt a warmth in her heart as she drifted off to sleep, looking forward to the days ahead.

After finishing her discussion with So Hyung, Micha set her phone away with a soft smile on her lips. She made her way to her room, where the gentle moonlight filtered through the curtains, casting a comforting gleam. Slipping under the covers, she felt a sense of peace marshland over her, knowing that soon she'd be with the one she loved.

As sleep took hold of her, Micha's studies dallied on So Hyung, and in the quiet of the night, she drifted into a sweet, romantic dream. In her dream, they were together, their chuckles echoing through the air as they participated in tender moments filled with love and warmth. The dream wrapped around her like a comforting grasp, and she slept peacefully, her heart full of affection for the man she cherished.

As the morning light strained through the curtains, Micha's dreams were shattered by the treble sound of her alarm. It announced constantly, tearing her from the romantic study where she had been lost in the studies of So Hyung. Frustration trickled up within her as the peaceful images of her dream faded, leaving her hankering for just many further moments of that joyful escape. But reality was grim, and the liabilities of the day signaled. With a heavy shriek, Micha dragged herself out of bed, feeling the weight of the world on her shoulders. The routine of brushing her teeth and washing her face felt mechanical, each action a necessary step toward the day she had to face, though her heart pained to be away.

As she prepared her breakfast, the aroma of coffee filled the kitchen, mingling with the scent of toast. She absentmindedly packed her lunch, her mind drifting to the study of seeing So Hyung after work. A spark of excitement burned within her, shortly lifting the dusk that had settled in her heart. The idea of being near him again, of feeling his arms around her, filled her with a warmth that made the morning's before wrathfulness feel trivial. Yet, beneath the face, a flicker of query dallied, a shadow of mistrustfulness that she could not relatively shake off.

She dressed snappily, her hands moving with a purpose that her heart did not completely partake. As she glanced in the glass before leaving, she forced a smile, willing herself to believe in the happiness that the day promised. But the smile did not reach her eyes, and she knew it. The trip to the office felt longer than usual, each step heavy with expectation. She tried to concentrate on the tasks ahead, but her mind kept wandering back to So Hyung, to the complications of their relationship, to the love she felt and the fears she harbored.

By the time she arrived at the office, her smile had grown a little wider, but it was still pigmented with the melancholy that had come to her constant companion. She saluted her associates with the same polite enthusiasm as always, but her studies were far down, with the man who held her heart. The hours passed in a blur of meetings and reports, her mind only half-present as she counted down the twinkles until she could be with him. The study of their impending reunion brought a flutter to her heart, yet it also stirred a pang, a quiet memorial of the distance and the time that had worn down at the edges of their love.

As the day drew to a close, Micha's excitement grew, her earlier angriness forgotten in the rush of feelings that surged within her. She could hardly stay to leave the office, to see So Hyung and wrap herself in the comfort of his presence. But as she packed her effects and set to leave, a small voice inside her rumored of the distrust that still crept. She brushed it away, choosing rather to concentrate on the joy that awaited her. The day might have begun with the harsh reality of a ringing alarm, but it would end with the possibility of love renewed, indeed if just for a moment.

Micha started her day with a broad smile, her heart filled with a quiet joy that sounded to radiate through every action she took. The study of reuniting with So Hyung after work made her giddy with expectation, adding a vibrant energy to her usual routine. As she sat down at her office, she immersed herself in her work, cutting business strategies with a position of focus that belied the excitement washing within her.

She was determined to address every challenge the company faced, courteously relating sins and pitfalls while proposing innovative results that showcased her keen business wit. Each decision she made, every problem she answered, felt like another step closer to the life she was confecting not just in her career, but in her particular life as well.

When lunch arrived, Micha slightly noticed the time, so focused was she in her studies and plans. She snappily ate at her office, her mind formerly drifting to the evening ahead. The bare idea of seeing So Hyung again filled her with a warmth that she had not felt in days, a deep craving to be near him, to feel the comfort of his presence after the long hours spent piecemeal. The autumn passed in a blur of exertion, her hands moving snappily over her tasks, yet her heart remained fixed on the moment when she'd eventually see him.

As the workday drew to a close, Micha's excitement came nearly inviting. She rushed back to her room, her hands pulsing slightly as she packed her luggage. Every point she placed in her bag carried a sense of purpose, each one a memorial of the time they would soon spend together. She slightly contained her appetite as she left the office, her heart pounding in her casket as she hastened to the hack stage. The lift to So Hyung's place felt like an eternity, her studies consumed by the image of his face, the sound of his voice, the sense of his arms around her.

Her feelings swirled — joy, craving, a hint of unease — all mingling together as she neared her destination. The closer she got, the further her heart swelled with a love so deep and consuming that it made her breath catch in her throat. The study of being with him again, after all the waiting, made everything additional fade into the background. For Micha, this was further than just a visit; it was a return to the person who made her world feel complete, a moment of connection that she had been hankering for with every fiber of her being.

As Micha sat in the reverse of the taxicab, the geography blurred past her, but the joy she felt outside was sharp and pictorial. Her heart was contending with expectation, each passing afar bringing her near to the city where So Hyung lived. The study of seeing him after such a long time piecemeal filled her with a happiness that was nearly inviting, a joy so profound she could hardly contain it. But when she eventually arrived in the city, that joy began to wane.

She called him, her voice full of excitement, only to hear a response that transferred a stitch of disappointment through her casket. "Hello, So Hyung, are you free just now?" she asked, her voice dyed with relief. "Nope," came his curt reply. " Can you come to my place? I'll shoot you the position. "

Micha's heart sank. She had traveled so far, with her heart full of love and expectation, only to find that he'd no time to hail her, no time to indeed meet her at the hack stage. The sadness that washed over her was like a heavy surge, nearly knocking the breath out of her. She forced herself to smile, thinking, He must be busy, trying to explain the hurt she felt.

She snappily arranged for another hack, her fritters pulsing slightly as she entered the new position into her phone. The lift through the strange thoroughfares felt lonelier than the long trip she had just completed, her earlier joy now replaced by a growing sense of apprehension.

When she eventually arrived at the position, Micha stepped out of the hack, her heart beating with a blend of unease and stopgap. She reached his home, the door standing before her like a hedge between the dream she had of their reunion and the reality that awaited her inside. With a deep breath, she turned the handle and pushed the door open, stepping into the dimly lit room.
