Chereads / India : Godly Doctor / Chapter 2 - Big heart

Chapter 2 - Big heart

After checking the materials and coming to the conference room, Vishnu saw that there were already quite a few people sitting in the conference room.

The guy should be about the same age as Vishnu, and he and Yuva found an empty seat to sit down. Who knew that the guy saw Pooja at a glance and ran over directly. Vishnu was a man of brotherhood, so he could only reluctantly rush in front of Yuva and sit between the two.

After Yuva gave Vishnu a look of "you are really a dog", he sat down unwillingly.

The three of them had already known each other before. Seeing Vishnu and Yuva coming over, Pooja gave him a sweet smile again.

"You are not slow, let's formally introduce ourselves. Pooja, a doctoral student at the School of Medicine of Kavya University, majoring in oncology."

Yuva directly rushed to shake hands, "Yuva, a master's graduate from Neeraj University, majoring in cardiology."

Vishnu felt that he should not be here at this time. A doctoral student at the best university in India, and a master's graduate from a top university in the world, he knew that this place was full of hidden dragons and crouching tigers, but who could have thought that the dragons and tigers were lurking around him.

The two of them focused their eyes on Vishnu, as if they were waiting for Vishnu to introduce himself.

Vishnu gave them a very different feeling. He looked about the same age as them, but he had a sense of calmness and some special qualities that they couldn't even explain. In short, he gave them a feeling of great competitiveness.

"Graduated from the N.D Medical University with a master's degree in general surgery."

Yuva didn't actually realize that after integrating that memory, he had actually changed a lot, especially in temperament, which was very different from these students who had just graduated from school.

  N.D Medical University?

Pooja and Yuva looked like they were kidding me. Yuva even leaned over to Vishnu and whispered, "Brother, tell me quietly, which backdoor did you come in through?"

Vishnu immediately gave him an expression that said your head was pinched. If there was really a backdoor, who would want to take the exam with you?

This guy was dressed slutty, and his brain circuit didn't seem like someone who had studied abroad. If there weren't so many people, he would have to ask him if he bought his degree. It was so annoying.

Pooja said slowly, "In order to take care of several regions, one or several resumes will be selected from each region in the audition. Vishnu should be one of them. However, the school cannot fully represent the strength. It also depends on the results of this written test."

  Hmm!

The little girl is good at talking, and it makes people feel comfortable to listen to her, unlike this kid who took the back door right away.

"Okay, let's start the written test now. The written test time is one hour."

While speaking, the students who came to participate in the exam have all arrived. Leena walked into the meeting room, did not delay, and directly began to read the exam rules and then handed out the papers.

The vigorous and resolute appearance made Vishnu think of a doctor's words: racing against time is to cherish time and protect the patient's life.

In the First Affiliated Hospital of Dhalora, this sentence seems to be implemented very thoroughly.

The test paper was quickly handed to them. Looking at the number of questions, one hour was definitely very tight. The meeting room suddenly became quiet. At this time, they had all spontaneously sat down in a seat. They were all from famous schools and had some self-awareness. After reviewing the test paper, they began to answer the questions silently.

Unlike the test paper in school, the test paper in hand seemed to be more clinical, which gave Vishnu a considerable advantage.

There were 100 multiple-choice questions, and the difficulty was increasing, which was frightening.

"Time is up, stop answering questions."

Vishnu , who had just finished answering the questions and filled in the answer sheet, breathed a sigh of relief. At least he had finished answering the questions, and he still had some confidence.

But when he looked around, he felt a little depressed. It seemed that Yuva and Pooja had finished answering earlier and seemed to be at ease.

Sure enough, excellent people always have their reasons for being excellent.

The machine for on-site examination was in the medical department. After asking everyone to wait for a while, Leena returned to the medical department with the test paper and answer sheet.

Ten minutes later, Leena appeared in the conference room again. The atmosphere in the conference room was a little heavy.

It can be seen that these talented students were also very nervous. Well, Vishnu finally found something in common with them, that is, they were all nervous.

"The students I will call will stay for a while, and the other students can leave."

Everyone knew what leaving meant, and they all looked more nervous.

  "Yuva ... Pooja ... Vishnu..."

When Vishnu was called, Vishnu clearly felt the eyes of Yuva and Pooja sweeping over him. Yuva's eyes were more obvious, as if he was saying, "Okay, brother!"

Pooja was obviously a little surprised, but he quickly calmed down. That being said, the chances of Vishnu really getting into the interview were not small.

  "Other students can leave."

After the voice fell, the other students left the stage with regret. Leena continued, "The written test scores and rankings will not be announced for the time being. The interview will begin next. The four teachers who will be interviewing are in the next room. When I call your name, you can go for the interview one by one, Yuva."

  This is the interview!

  Is the rhythm so tense?

Watching Yuva leave, Vishnu could feel that Yuva was really a big-hearted person. He didn't seem nervous at all. What a strong opponent.

In this program, only two people can get offers in the end. It is really difficult. The students who are here now may become each other's opponents in the future.

Each person's interview time is five minutes.

Pooja was the seventh to go. In the meeting room, because Leena did not allow him to speak, Yuva could only wink at Visbnu after he came back. Well, what did he mean specifically? Vishnu said that they had not yet reached that level of tacit understanding.

Among the students who came back, some were happy and some were worried.

Most of the time, the interview was more difficult than the written test, especially this time. For Vishnu, these students were all academically superior, but compared to the mentors sitting at the interview table, they were simply children. Being nervous was the norm, and making mistakes was normal.

  "Vishnu."

It was finally Vishnu's turn. Vishnu was the last one to be called. Facing leena's gaze, Leena looked at him twice more when reading the written test results. He was probably surprised that Vishnu could enter the interview.

Entering the interview room, Vishnu said that he was very calm now.

After integrating that memory, it seemed that Vishnu also had a big heart that was enough to face everything.

"Hello, teachers. I am Vishnu Gupta. Here is my resume."

Facing the four teachers, Wu Xiaofu did not look at them for long. Instead, he began to adjust himself according to the necessary etiquette for the interview in his memory. Opening and closing the door, sitting posture, etc., are actually very particular. Some teachers really care about these things. If there is anything that makes the teacher uncomfortable, it is not impossible to deduct points.

The interview only lasts five minutes, and the time is already being counted.

When Visbnu handed over his resume to the four teachers, three men and one woman, he glanced at their name tags.

Chief physician of neurosurgery Kartik Sharma , chief physician of cardiology Ajay chauhan, chief physician of general surgery Lucky verma , and chief physician of emergency department Laxman Ramji .

They are all industry leaders. Facing these leaders, Vishnu dared not relax at all.

The one who spoke was chief physician of general surgery Lucky verma.

"Student Vishnu , please give us a brief self-introduction in English first."

  English!

As expected, he couldn't escape English after all. Fortunately, with the blessing of that memory and his own accumulation over the years, Vishnu English is pretty good. Although his accent is a bit rural, it is still understandable. Well, I'm sorry to show my ugliness.

"It is my honor to have this opportunity to introduce myself. Dear Madam and Sir, My name is..."

After the two-minute self-introduction, the four teachers looked at each other with surprise in their eyes. Vishnu resume was in their hands. Compared with the students in front, he really had no advantage. Unexpectedly, Vishnu written test score was very good. What was even more surprising was that Vishnu had not been nervous at all from the interview to now.

Although there was some flavor in the English introduction, it was just some flavor. There was no problem with the rest.

He was born with a big heart. Even the students in front of him, many of them performed poorly because of nervousness. Vishnu really exceeded their expectations.

"Student Vishnu, to be honest, your resume is not outstanding among these students. Can you give us a reason to keep you?"

  "I'm tall!"

The four teachers' faces darkened. They knew that you were from the north and were tall, and they emphasized it. To be honest, Vishnu's height of nearly 1.9 meters is still very eye-catching.

Seeing that the four teachers' faces were not right, Vishnu hurriedly continued, "Teacher, what I mean is that I am tall, I am strong, I can endure, and although my academic qualifications are a little worse than other students, I believe that I will not be worse than other students in other aspects. Hard work, self-confidence, responsibility, and strong communication skills are also my advantages.

If the four mentors are willing to give me a chance, I will use my lifelong learning to defend the honor of medicine.

" The person who asked the question was Luxman Ramji, the chief physician of the emergency department. He was not from a famous school either. After seeing Vishnu in front of him, he was still willing to give him some opportunities.

The other directors also asked a few questions one after another, but they were not professional questions. The interview environment was unexpectedly relaxed.

Combined with that memory, Vishnu also understood something. In fact, this interview is to test students' stress resistance and adaptability. Professional knowledge is secondary.

"Come on, you are studying general surgery, so incision and suturing should be the most basic, right? Come on, give it a try."

Lucky verma, the chief physician of general surgery, stood up and walked in front of the prepared mold and said.

Vishnu was naturally not afraid of the stage, and walked straight over.

This is indeed the most basic, and it is even simpler if it is not on a living person.

But it is difficult to stay calm and complete the operation. Four directors and eight eyes, to be honest, this is more nervous than a real operating table. After the fusion of souls, in addition to the improvement of experience and skills, perhaps a strong mentality is Vishnu biggest advantage.

He held the knife and cut a five-centimeter-long incision on the rubber sponge, steady.

Everyone looked at Vishnu, and their eyes lit up. This is an interview that all surgical students have to go through. But among so many people, who is the least affected by the outside world and has the most stable mentality, it must be Vishnu. They are all old doctors, and they can naturally see what Vishnu is like at a glance.

Potential, talent, and basic skills are even more obvious when Vishnu sews later.

In fact, to see whether a medical student is suitable to be a doctor, you don't need to look at too much, just simple operations will do, just like this suture, insert the needle vertically 90 degrees, remove the needle vertically 90 degrees, the distance between the needles, the distance between the wounds, these are originally very small details, but few people can maintain the standard.

Not to mention medical students, even they are lazy most of the time.

But Vishnu did it, which can leave a good impression on them. Just based on this operation, Vishnu is undoubtedly the best performer among these interviewees.

"Okay, classmate, you go out first."
