Chapter 56 - Elmesia El Ru Sarion

As the grand celebrations came to an end, the Golden Palace of Lanka returned to a serene silence, the halls now empty of guests.

Yet, two figures remained: Charybdis, reclining on her throne, and Elemesia El Ru Sarion, the queen of the Sarion dynasty, who stood in the hall, lingering with a sense of unresolved purpose.

Elemesia, throughout the festivities, had kept to herself, engaging in idle conversation here and there but never approaching Charybdis.

Now, as the last dignitaries departed, she signaled her aide to stay behind, indicating with a stern look that she intended to speak with Charybdis alone.

The aide, understanding the gravity of the situation, complied silently.

The hall grew quiet as Elemesia approached Charybdis, neither of them uttering a word.

The weight of the moment hung heavily in the air.

When Elemesia reached the throne, she suddenly prostrated herself at Charybdis's feet, her movement swift and filled with desperate reverence.

"Forgive me, Your Majesty, for not being useful enough," Elemesia pleaded, her voice trembling with genuine emotion.

Charybdis sighed, recognizing the familiar scene.

She was well aware of Elemesia's inferiority complex and the unparalleled "love" she harbored for her creator. It was unfortunate that Elemesia's heart had shattered upon learning that Charybdis had no interest in women, a matter Charybdis decided to set aside for another time.

Charybdis lifted her bare leg, placing it gently under Elemesia's chin, raising her face to meet her gaze. "I won't repeat my words, Elemesia. You are useful enough."

The history between them was complex.

Elemesia was not a natural-born queen; she was crafted by Charybdis through Project-Re:Life.

After the elves had been devastated by Milim's rampage, Charybdis had silently captured 98% of the surviving population, subjecting them to intense experiments.

Most were either physically or mentally destroyed, but from the ashes of this cruelty, Charybdis gained the insight to craft life itself.

Elemesia emerged as the perfect elven queen, a being who was partially nature and partially the embodiment of magic.

Her talent was unparalleled, possessing the concept of magic as her inherent trait.

At just two years old, she was sent by Charybdis to win over the fragmented elven survivors.

Remarkably, within two years, Elemesia returned having established a full-fledged kingdom.

Through Elemesia, Charybdis had effectively bound the entire elven population to her will.

Their food, water, and air were all mixed with her essence, transforming their very blood into a blend of cryptid and elven.

Every child born under this new order inherited the bloodbound servitude before even having a soul.

As Elemesia knelt before her, Charybdis regarded her with a mix of satisfaction and calculated control.

"You have done well," Charybdis said, her voice soothing yet authoritative. "Your efforts have not gone unnoticed."

Elemesia's eyes filled with a mix of relief and admiration. "Thank you, Your Majesty. Your words mean everything to me."

Charybdis leaned back, her expression softening just a touch. "Continue to serve me well, Elemesia. There is much more to be done, and I will need your unwavering loyalty."

"Always, my queen," Elemesia vowed, her voice firm with devotion.

Charybdis watched her with a calculating gaze, satisfied with her creation's loyalty.

The future of her kingdom, and the control she held over it, seemed ever more secure with such dedicated servants at her command.

Hearing the praise from Charybdis, Elemesia's face broadened with a smile that bordered on the edge of madness.

She lowered her head, unable to contain the excitement that bubbled within her.

"May I... may I ask for a reward, Your Majesty?" she stammered, her courage faltering midway as she hastily added, "If you wish, of course."

Charybdis sighed, a small smile playing on her lips. "What is it that you want, Elemesia?"

Expecting her request to be denied as it always had been in the past, Elemesia trembled, a hint of liquid seeping through her undergarments.

Still, she dared not overstep her bounds. "I... I would like a kiss from you, Your Majesty."

Charybdis, who was in a particularly good mood, considered the request.

She could see the desperation and longing in Elemesia's eyes.

With a faint chuckle, she decided to indulge her devoted creation.

Using her blood control, she lifted Elemesia effortlessly into the air.

Elemesia's breath hitched as Charybdis drew closer.

She felt the gentle yet firm touch of her queen's lips on her forehead.

The sensation was electric, sending shivers down her spine. Disappointed that the kiss wasn't on her lips, Elemesia's blush deepened.

However, to her astonishment, Charybdis leaned in again, this time planting a kiss on her cheek, tantalizingly close to her lips. "If you behave, Elemesia," Charybdis whispered, her voice dripping with a promise, "I might have some remedy for your predicament ."

With that, Charybdis released her hold and walked away.

Elemesia's legs went limp as she collapsed to the ground, a satisfied smile on her lips.

Her legs gave out, unable to support the overwhelming surge of emotions, and a pool of liquid formed around her a fishy aroma spreading aroun her as she succumbed to her intense feelings.

The hall, now empty save for Elemesia, echoed with the sound of her shallow, ecstatic breaths.

She lay there, the scent of her queen still lingering, her heart racing with the possibility of future rewards.

And a stupid smile on her face.

As for the remedy she knew what it was, The queen would allow her to open the configuration lock placed on her being when she had crafted her.

Allowing her to bexome someone worthy of her love.
