The scene shifts to the King of the Harpies striding quickly through his palace, descending to a hidden door in the basement.

Unlocking it with a swift, practiced motion, he entered the dimly lit chamber, his demeanor changing instantly.

As soon as he closed the door behind him, he began to tear at his lips and peel away the skin that had come into contact with Charybdis.

In the darkness, a voice spoke, its owner obscured from view. It was Feldway. "No need to rush."

The blood and flesh the Harpy King shed ignited the magic circle on the ground, confirming their theory: Charybdis was indeed a Cryptid.

The king's wounds healed almost instantly, and his wings retracted back into his body, revealing a more sinister form beneath the harpy facade.

Feldway addressed him again, "So, you have the preparations ready?"

The man nodded. "Even if I die, the plan won't fail. You may have to ask Ashoka if he is ready from his side or not."

From the shadows, the silent conqueror Ashoka spoke up, his voice laced with confidence and disdain. "I have already gathered 3,300 unique skills and have the resources to summon the required individuals at any given moment." He paused, glancing towards a darkened corner of the room with visible disgust. "Just make sure you keep your pet working."

Feldway chuckled, walking towards the same shadowed area while continuing to speak. "Michael has been very generous in helping us. His efforts are always top-notch."

As the flickering magic light illuminated the corner, a monstrous visage was revealed: a red dragon with 108 angel wings and thousands of eyes. At its forehead, a human-like body protruded, naked and exposed. It was Velgrynd, her eyes hollow and glassy, her will almost completely overpowered.

"He has already perfected Cthugha, after all," Feldway remarked, pride in his voice.

Velgrynd, once a proud True Dragon, had been twisted and corrupted by Michael and Feldway's machinations. Her monstrous form, a horrifying hybrid of True Dragon and Angel, was a testament to their dark collaboration. This was their creation, a being born from the overpowering of Velgrynd's will by Cthugha, an abomination of immense power and horror.

Feldway looked upon Velgrynd with satisfaction. "Our plans are moving forward. Soon, Charybdis and her abominations shall be crushed."

As these events conspired, Charybdis, who was snuggling Noir in bed and using him as a body pillow, felt a shiver run down her spine.

Her danger sense blared genuinely, a sensation she hadn't felt in centuries.

Ignoring the disappointed sounds from Noir as she got up from bed, she walked towards the source of her unease.

She reached the edge of the palace, her eyes narrowing as she gazed out into the distance.

Her marble phantasm, reacting to her distress, caused lightning to crackle in the sky, illuminating the surroundings with a stark, eerie light.

The storm reflected her turmoil, a manifestation of her heightened senses and the imminent threat she felt.

Standing there, Charybdis's mind raced through possibilities.

She could feel the presence of something ominous, something that threatened not just her but the entire realm she ruled.

Her instincts, honed over centuries, told her this was no ordinary danger.

The sky grew darker, the lightning more intense, as if the very heavens were preparing for a confrontation.

Charybdis, ever the ruler, stood tall and resolute, her mind already formulating plans and countermeasures.

She knew she couldn't afford to be complacent, not when the safety of her kingdom and her loved ones was at stake.

After observing the horizon, Charybdis made a decisive move.

She needed to fasten the progress on Project-B.

For the first time in centuries, she felt that her complacence and confidence might have put her kingdom in danger.

She left the palace and headed to her laboratory in Asur Lok, the former Demon Realm.

There, she would put all her focus and energy into ensuring the success of her most ambitious project.

Though armed with her two ultimate skills—Lord of Sin: Angra Mainyu and The Mother of Asura: Charybdis, her personal manifestation in the skill system—she knew she still had to prepare for any mighty enemy that might come.

Her resolve was unshakable.

After the warning issued by her instincts, Charybdis decided to pull the curtains on many farces that had been going on for centuries.

With a thought, she appeared on the Tower of Babel. Thousands of adventurers were within the tower at that moment.

To her, it didn't matter. She connected to the tower, absorbing the millions of souls that it had been storing for the past millennium, causing its magic to flicker.

With full control, she massacred all those currently present in the dungeon.

The souls in the dungeon were special. The special power awarded to adventurers through the Excelia system was an advanced application of her soul research.

This was her way of creating souls that synchronized with each other in fluctuations, maximizing their absorption efficiency.

She pulled on the seven powers she had granted to seven individuals to become true heroes.

None disappointed her, as all had become one despite it being a path available to few.

She had altered their structure to optimize that path of evolution.

She pulled on their special connection and absorbed their souls, causing each of them to fall like dolls without strings.

As she did this, Charybdis began to bleed from her soul.

The process was excruciating, her very essence being torn apart and reformed. Her once radiant skin began to pale, dark veins appearing and spreading across her body as their conflicting nature poisoned her.

Her eyes, usually gleaming with predatory intent, now looked strained, with blood vessels bursting in a horrifying display of the toll this ritual was taking on her.

The reason for this adverse reaction was that Charybdis had drastically bypassed the boundary of a being's ability to store souls within them without absorption.

This caused her spiritual vessel to suffer, stretched beyond its limits, and now threatening to shatter under the immense pressure.

She pushed these seven souls into two unique skills she had gained some time ago: Hero of the People and People's Queen, sub-evolutions of the fragmented Politician.

These two skills, powered by the souls of seven saints, were pushed to their limit as the skills were forced to evolve.

Her physical appearance continued to deteriorate.

Her luxurious hair, which had always flowed like a river of shadows, started to fall out in clumps, revealing patches of raw, bleeding scalp.

Her regal attire became stained with her own blood, dripping from the wounds that opened spontaneously across her body.

She could feel the fabric of her existence fraying, each soul she absorbed and manipulated tearing at her very being.

Charybdis had personally petitioned the Voice of the World to award her this ultimate skill, much like her own manifestation in the skill system she had gained after gaining a significant bond with the Voice of the World.

She had gained the intrinsic property of the Voice of All Things, allowing her to directly petition the Voice of the World in times of need.

The unique skills synchronized with each other as their rudimentary nucleic cores cracked by the collision of countless other smaller skills to give birth to a new ultimate skill: King of Heroes: Gilgamesh.

But Charybdis wasn't done, despite the toll it was taking on her body. She petitioned again with 70% of the souls she had absorbed from the dungeon.

Her body convulsed violently, more blood seeping from her pores.

Her vision blurred, but she pressed on, knowing that this was necessary for the path she had planned next.
