Chapter 45 - End of Subjugation

=========================

When the subjugation finally ended, Charybdis rose from her throne, her eyes glowing with a mix of satisfaction and power.

She had absorbed the souls of billions of lesser daemons and three of the Primordials, their essence now a part of her formidable strength.

The cables connected to her armor detached with a series of mechanical clicks, and the pulsating lights dimmed as she stepped away.

Standing at the helm of the massive ship, she gazed out over the conquered demon realm.

With an euphoric smile on her face as the Demon Lord's seed formed inside her soul.

"Three down four more to go", she muttered to herself.

The once formidable territory now lay in ruins, a testament to the might of Lanka's forces and her unrelenting ambition.

With a wave of her hand, she issued the command to release the information to the world.

The message was clear and concise, spreading like wildfire across continents.

News of the complete eradication of the daemon race within their realm and the death of four Primordials, including Noir, sent shockwaves through every kingdom and territory.

In human lands, reactions varied. Celebrations erupted in some quarters, with naive well-wishers hailing the Kingdom of Lanka as heroes.

They failed to grasp the true implications of such a decisive victory.

In contrast, the more astute rulers and strategists began preparations, aware that this shift in power could spell their own downfall if they were not vigilant.

In the Kingdom of Nasca, the grand hall was filled with a tense silence.

Rudra, sat deep in thought, contemplating the formidable alliance that had been revealed.

The power of Charybdis, Veldora, and Milim, along with potential unknown allies, loomed large in his mind.

As the news spread, preparations were made in every corner of the human world.

Armies were mobilized, alliances forged, and strategies devised.

The balance of power had shifted dramatically, and everyone knew that the future was uncertain.

Back on her ship, Charybdis stood tall, her wings unfurled and glowing in the dim light as she filled the Deamon realm with her magicules in an attempt to overrun its desolate nature.

The bionic slimes, a junction of technology and biology, floated around her, pulsing with energy.

The sphere at the centre of the ship with its concentric rings spun steadily, with holy power.

"It's done," she murmured to herself, a satisfied smile playing on her lips.

"Let the world know our strength. This is only the beginning."

Her grin widened as she thought about the next interesting plot she had devised.

It wasn't destructive and it wasn't manipulative no it was even benefiting to Humans.

A dungeon full of resources for anyone with a dream to come and take advantage of.

"Hehe Hahahahaha"

----

Three weeks after the News of Deamon Realm's subjugation

In the heart of the desolate plains, where the once vibrant Kingdom of Harpies had thrived, a tower suddenly emerged from the earth, defying logic and reason.

For three days, people from distant Kingdoms gathered cautiously, observing the abnormality in the world.

Scholars debated theories of ancient prophecies while soldiers stood watch, their gazes fixed upon the mysterious structure that loomed over the horizon.

Amidst the murmurs and speculation, seven individuals emerged from the crowd—a blacksmith from Dwargon, his calloused hands stained with the sweat of labor; a scholar from Nasca, the one who had taught holy magic to Charybdis ; a slave from Jistav, a fledgling nation emerging from the grounds of an illegal market ; a survivor from the Harpy settlement, marked by resilience; a warrior from Ruberios, his sword arm steady and true; and two villagers from the Western Nations, humble souls drawn into a fate they couldn't foresee.

As the sun dipped low on the fourth day, the ground trembled beneath their feet.

A brilliant, azure light erupted from the earth, swirling into a celestial dome that encompassed the chosen seven.

Within its radiant embrace, they felt a surge of power—a resonance that seemed to flow from the very core of their beings.

The blacksmith's hands tingled with the primal essence of metalwork, the scholar's mind expanded with arcane knowledge, and the warrior felt an indomitable strength coursing through his veins.

With dawn breaking over the horizon, messengers arrived from each kingdom, their urgency matching the gravity of the tower's appearance.

Before the champions could fully comprehend their newfound abilities, they were enveloped in a blinding flash of light, transported from the familiar plains to the shadowed depths of an ancient dungeon.

In the dimly lit chamber, their senses reeled from the sudden shift.

They huddled together, their confusion mingling with apprehension until their attention was drawn to a figure of ethereal beauty—a woman with four fiery wings and a mask adorned with the symbol of an all-seeing eye.

Her presence commanded both awe and reverence, as her presence radiated authority.

"Welcome, chosen champions," her voice echoed softly, carrying a weight that resonated deep within their souls.

"You have been called to the Tower of Babel, where your destinies will be tested."

With a graceful gesture, she conjured seven star-shaped lockets, each glowing with a gentle inner light.

The champions reached out, feeling the weight and significance of these artifacts in their palms.

Without a word, the lockets transformed into weapons of exquisite craftsmanship—each one a reflection of its wielder's inner strengths and aspirations.

"You have one month to ascend to the tenth floor of the tower," the ethereal lady continued, her gaze unwavering. "Should you fail, the consequences will be dire."

With those solemn words, she dissolved into a cascade of fiery energy, leaving the champions to contemplate the daunting path that lay ahead.

As they stood amidst the shadows of the dungeon, their hands grasping their newly forged weapons, they knew that their journey through the Tower of Babel would not only test their skills but also define the fate of their kingdoms in ways they could only imagine.

With hearts pounding and minds racing, they steeled themselves for the challenges that awaited, bound together by destiny and the quest that now united them as champions.
