Charybdis sat at a grand table, surrounded by the lively chatter of her family.
The boisterous blonde man with dark skin tone, her father Veldora, laughed heartily at some jest.
While her son, Krodha, with his six eyes, merely smirked.
The Elemental Lord of Darkness, now turned Asura, sat beside Krodha, exuding a calm yet powerful presence.
Harita, with a ring on her finger, leaned affectionately towards her husband, Krodha.
Across the table, Milim, more mature , engaged in a spirited conversation with two other girls who bore inhumane features loosely resembling Charybdis.
They all sat within the grand palace of Lanka, a place that resonated with power and history.
This was Charybdis's family.
Her sons and daughters, her cousin Milim, and her father Veldora were all present.
It had been 300 years since Krodha and Harita had married, their love had been budding for quite some time at that point.
Charybdis reflected on her life over the past millennium.
It had been a time of immense growth and enjoyment, interspersed with moments of profound research and discovery.
She had to deal with the nuisance of the Tenma War that ravaged her pet kingdoms, but the pesky angels couldn't even come close to the island before being incinerated by the passive marble phantasm manifestation.
It was a huge pain in the ass to rebuild all the stuff.
About 400 years ago, Charybdis had summoned another otherworlder second one after Ashoka.
During that time, she found herself with ample free time, which she spent bonding with him.
Their relationship, while not reaching the level of marriage, had been meaningful.
From their union, a daughter was born.
This daughter, unlike her other siblings, inherited her curiosity and the free-spirited nature of her father.
A dangerous mix.
As Charybdis looked at the empty seat at the table, she sighed for the umpteenth time.
She had a soft spot for her daughter and regretted allowing her so much freedom.
She had run off to the Babel tower with her friends.
Her absence at the family gathering was a constant reminder of the wild and untamed spirit that she had fostered.
Despite her daughter's absence, the room was filled with warmth and laughter.
Charybdis took a moment to appreciate the family she had built, the legacy she had created, and the countless years of research and discovery that had brought her to this point.
Life had been good, and as she looked around the table, she felt a deep sense of contentment mixed with the slight pang of anger for her daughter.
But the ever constant thinker shifted it to the back of her mind.
Charybdis's thoughts drifted back to one of her most amusing preoccupations: Ashoka.
His relentless struggle for power had been a constant source of entertainment.
She had watched his every move in the past millennium with a mix of amusement and annoyance.
His attempts to marry had particularly irked her, prompting her to ensure all his brides met a swift and mysterious end.
Ashoka was her property. None could lay hands on him other than her.
The idea of him seeking companionship or forming alliances outside her control was intolerable.
His ambition, though admirable in its persistence, was futile. No matter how hard he tried, he would never escape her grasp.
The memory of his last encounter with Krodha brought a slight smile to her lips.
Watching him flail uselessly against her son had been a reminder of the vast power gap that separated them.
Despite all his acquired strength and skills, Ashoka remained a pawn in her grand design.
As the lively banter continued around her, Charybdis leaned back, her eyes twinkling with a mixture of pride and anticipation.
Which soon was broken by the familiar mental jolt that she had been experiencing for some time now.
Charybdis had recently begun to feel an intense, mentally irritating sensation, coupled with an unbearable surge of horniness.
It was a feeling she hadn't experienced since her time with the otherworlder, and upon closer study, she realized it was a sign of her ovulation.
As a spiritual lifeform and a pseudo-cryptid, her inherited dragon anatomy had an unusual, uncoordinated, and infrequent ovulation cycle.
Despite her powerful and dominant nature, Charybdis had never shied away from sexual pleasures in her previous life; she just saw no significant value in them.
But now, faced with the unrelenting mental itch, she found herself divided on how to address it.
She could destroy it but that would be a huge waste considering the ability of my body to produce an egg is very low.
The irritation wouldn't subside until the egg was fertilized or destroyed.
She could self-reproduce using her cryptid anatomy, a process that would leave her heavily weakened.
Alternatively, she could seek a mate, which she preferred as it wouldn't compromise her strength.
As she got up from the table, her movement drew glances from the others.
She waved them off with a simple smile and walked to her chambers, her mind swirling with thoughts.
Entering her bedroom, her eyes fell on the now dull necklace displayed as a showcase.
This very necklace had been used to distill the entire strength of the demon race into her body, fueling the birth of two Ultimate Skills, her demon lord seed, and even partial awakening.
One name surfaced in her mind as she contemplated her options: "Noir."
She had left him along with the others alive to grow and become perfect food for her complete awakening.
But He was a primordial of the strongest order, and his lineage could indeed be worthy.
The idea of seeking out Noir was tantalizing, the prospect of a union with such an eccentric being both unpractical and thrilling.
She liked that!
A smirk of challenge descended on her face as she made up her mind.
