Chapter 36 - Training Of The Imperial

Upon returning Charybdis was greeted by a sleeping Veldora who had "reshaped" the Throne room due to his large size once agin.

"Father," Charybdis began, her tone calm yet firm, "I think it would benefit you—and our kingdom—if you considered taking on a more humanoid form. It would make interactions with our allies and subjects easier and more... approachable.Plus i won't have to fix the chamber all the time"

Veldora snorted, his massive form casting a shadow across the room.

"Humanoid form? Why should I bother with that? I am the Storm Dragon, feared and respected in this form. Changing into something lesser would be a disgrace."

Charybdis sighed, knowing Veldora's adamancy was unshakable. "Very well, Father. I understand your pride. We will manage without it."

Veldora gave a nod, satisfied with his decision, and left the chamber "reshaping "it on his way out again.

Charybdis watched him go, her mind already shifting to other matters while she unconsciously fixed the Hall.

She turned back to her research but paused as a sudden surge of power rippled through the air.

Her eyes widened. "Krodha has awakened."

With renewed purpose, Charybdis altered her plans.

She left her chamber, seeking out Krodha to meet him in controlling and understanding his newfound intrinsic abilities.

She found him in her bedroom where he has been resting , his presence already radiating a raw, untamed aura.

"Krodha," Charybdis called out, drawing his attention.

"You've finally awakened krodha.

First of all I'm glad you survived this and you now have new powers. We must train you to control them and understand their potential."

Krodha looked at her, determination in his eyes.

"What are these abilities, Master?"

Charybdis smiled, proud of his eagerness. "Call me Mother, Krodha."

He hesitated, the word "Mother" caught in his throat. "Yes, M-Mother."

Charybdis's expression softened. "But before we get into that, I've prepared a meal. Let's eat first."

They moved to a large table where Charybdis had set out a feast.

The aroma of various dishes filled the air, a testament to her effort and care in preparing the meal.

She had decided to cook for him everyday this was her way of expressing her care, at least in her mind.

Krodha's eyes widened at the sight, his hesitation momentarily replaced by curiosity.

"Did you make all this?" he asked, taking a seat.

"Yes," Charybdis replied, serving him a plate.

"I've been working on it for quite some time. I thought it would be good for us to share a meal before diving into your training."

They ate in relative silence, the only sounds being the clinking of cutlery and the rustle of leaves in the distance. The meal was simple yet delicious, each dish crafted with precision and care.

Krodha finally broke the silence. "Thank you, Mother. This is... really good."

Charybdis smiled. "I'm glad you like it, Krodha. It's important to nourish the body as well as the mind."

After they finished eating, Charybdis led Krodha back to the training grounds. "Now, let's discuss your abilities."

She began with " Wrath of Earth This ability allows you to channel nature's wrath into your elemental magic, making it devastatingly effective against humans and demons from foreign dimensions. Feel the anger of the earth itself, and let it guide your magic."

Krodha nodded, closing his eyes as he tried to tap into the elemental rage. The ground beneath him trembled, but the energy didn't fully materialize. He opened his eyes, frustration evident.

"It's okay," Charybdis reassured him. "These abilities are new to you. Let's move on."

Next, she explained " Wrath of The Imperial This ability allows you to summon an unstoppable arrow that can pierce anything, provided your anger towards the target is strong enough. Focus on your anger and let it shape the arrow."

Krodha's expression hardened as he imagined a target, his anger boiling within him.

A shimmering arrow formed in his hand, but it was weak and unstable, a mere spiriton construct without a proper target.

"Don't worry," Charybdis said, placing a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "It takes time to master these abilities. Your talent will soon catch up."

Finally, Charybdis described " Judgement. When activated, your six eyes will bear words in Sanskrit: Nyay (न्याय - justice), Nishpaksh (निष्पक्ष - impartial), Amishra (अमिश्र - absolute), Amal (अमल - pure), Satya (सत्य - truth), Vijay (विजय - victory). These words set rules for both you and your opponent, but their meanings are defined by your perception. You can twist these concepts to suit your desires and beliefs."

"Each concept in these can be brought to your complete control if they are applicable to your target"

Krodha's eyes glowed simultaneously as the words appeared along with the power of Judgement, the words manifesting their conceptual weight.

He felt the weight of each concept, understanding the potential to shape reality according to his will. But activating the skill felt daunting, and the pressure to define each concept was immense.

"Use these abilities wisely," Charybdis advised. "They are powerful tools, but they require control and understanding. You have the potential to become a formidable force, Krodha. I will be here to guide you."

Days passed as Krodha practiced diligently.

Though initially, his attempts were weak and unstable, his increased talent soon caught up.

He learned to channel the earth's wrath, and the arrows he summoned grew stronger, driven by genuine anger towards his inability.

His understanding of Judgement deepened, allowing him to manipulate its rules more effectively.

As Charybdis watched him train, she felt a sense of satisfaction and pride in her son and her own work.

Obviously she never stopped her research on various topics.

After another rigorous training session, Charybdis and Krodha sat under the shade of a large tree. The air was filled with the sounds of the forest, a peaceful contrast to the intense training they had just finished.

Charybdis looked at Krodha thoughtfully. "Krodha, I promised you something before your rebirth. Do you remember?"

Krodha nodded, wiping sweat from his brow. "Yes, Mother. You said if I survived, I could have any reward I wanted."

Charybdis smiled. "That's right. So, tell me, Krodha, what is it that you desire?"

Krodha hesitated, his eyes lowering to the ground. He had gained immense power and abilities, yet he found himself at a loss.

"I... I don't know, Mother. I can't think of anything."

Charybdis tilted her head, studying him. "You must have some wish, some dream or aspiration. Think about it."

Krodha's brows furrowed as he tried to delve into his thoughts. He had been so focused on survival and mastering his abilities that personal desires seemed distant and vague.

"I want to be strong, to protect our kingdom and repay you for giving me this new life. But beyond that... I'm not sure."

Charybdis placed a gentle hand on his shoulder.

"Strength and loyalty are noble desires, Krodha. But remember, you are more than just a warrior. You have a soul, dreams, and a future. Take your time to discover what truly matters to you. When you find it, I'll be here to help you achieve it."

Krodha looked up at her, gratitude and determination in his eyes. "Thank you, Mother. I'll think about it. I want to make you proud."

Charybdis smiled warmly.

"You already do, Krodha. Every day. Now, let's continue your training. There's still much to learn and master."
