Chereads / Tensura : [Charybdis] / Chapter 16 - Shashvata narakam {Eternal Hell}

Chapter 16 - Shashvata narakam {Eternal Hell}

Charybdis awoke in a Temple that was both familiar and disturbingly altered.

The realm where she had once been trapped after her initial reincarnation now felt more sinister, the atmosphere heavy with a palpable sense of dread.

She pushed herself up, her body aching from the phantom pain of the recent battle with Noir and

The temple that once held an idol had been replaced by a gaping, bottomless pit that seemed to devour light itself.

The once blood-red waters now housed the very monstrous entity she made to be the core of her skill—a grotesque fusion of squid and crab, resembling an aborted embryo with three unsettling eyes and countless writhing tentacles.

It was an abomination, a testament to the unfinished development of her Ultimate skill.

The realm she stood on was something she was always quite divided on , it's current state was a by product of her sub skill , Marble Phantasm: Shashvatam Naraka (Eternal Hell).

Yet it had existed before the skill was even formed, leading her to believe that it was most probably installed within her or had different origin pertaining to her nature of being.

Anger and disappointment simmered within her.

The battle with Noir replayed in her mind, each misstep, each failed strategy a sting to her pride.

She had been so close to unleashing her full might, only to be outmaneuvered and struck down.

Her complacency had been her downfall.

As she stood, the creature's three eyes locked onto her, a mixture of curiosity and recognition in its gaze.

This monstrosity was a part of her power, an extension of her will and potential.

Its unborn state mirrored her own incomplete mastery of the skill, a potential not yet fully realized.

Charybdis approached the creature, her steps slow and deliberate. The tentacles writhed, responding to her presence.

She reached out and gently petted its grotesque head, drawing a series of approving noises—a cross between gurgling and clicking.

Despite its horrifying appearance, she felt her soul resonate with it.

"You're still growing, aren't you?" she murmured, her voice tinged with frustration.

"We both are."

The creature's response was a low rumbling sound, almost like a purr.

Charybdis felt a flicker of satisfaction. This realm, this creature, they were manifestations of her strength and potential.

The unfinished state of the skill represented the challenges she had yet to overcome, the power she had yet to fully grasp.

She took a deep breath, her mind racing with thoughts of her recent failure and the path ahead.

The bottomless pit, the blood water, the monstrous creature—each element of this realm was under her control, a testament to her dominion.

Yet, she couldn't shake the bitterness of her defeat, the knowledge that she had been outplayed before she could utilise even a fraction of this vast untamable power.

As she petted the creature's head one last time, she stepped back, her resolve hardening.

"Let's get to work," she said, her voice firm despite the anger bubbling beneath the surface.

"We have a lot to accomplish and we also have the time to accomplish it."

The creature's eyes gleamed with understanding, letting out another approving noise.

Charybdis smiled grimly.

This was her realm, her domain.

She would master it, refine her skills, and harness her power to its fullest potential rather than just being haphazard about it and leaving growth to time.

The battle with Noir had been a harsh lesson, but it also fueled her determination.

She would not be caught off guard EVER again.

As Charybdis's presence faded from Veldora's senses, an overwhelming wave of grief and panic crashed over him.

Their bond as Daughter father, was suddenly severed , leaving behind an echoing emptiness that reverberated through his very being.

In the heart of Jura Forest, where Veldora resided in his majestic solitude, he felt the abrupt absence like a sharp, stabbing pain.

Without a moment's hesitation, fueled by a mix of desperation and determination, he unleashed his full strength.

In a mere 15 seconds, he streaked across the skies, crossing vast distances with unparalleled speed.

"Not act rash ? You say? "Veldora said a few words, that came out in a demonic tone.

Sweat went down Velgrynd's face, for the first time in her life Velgrynd felt scared of Veldora and his power, she couldn't understand how this child could cause her fear.

While velgrynd was intimidated Veldora roared to the world

"Answer me Who did this ?"

Almost immediately the spirits whispered to him the culprit of it to avoid getting his wrath.

Veldora prepared to fly towards the filthy Mongrels that harmed his precious child and destroy all traces of their race itself.

But his flight was stopped by a wall of magma that sorrounded him.

"I can't allow you to go Veldora becuase i know your rampage this time wont end once it starts"

"Open my way sister" he growled out

"I refuse " came a simple reply tinged with determination.

" The hard way it is"

Muttered Veldora disappointed in his siter and in the next moment he attacked her with a point blank thunder breath.
