"Not at all, I insisted on doing this, so you have nothing to apologize for," he assured her.
Why? Tanya asked herself. "I see," she responded. "Concerning my decision, I will take the time now to discuss with my brother how to proceed," she politely told him keeping her voice level. She couldn't make a decision just yet she needed to time think things over and figure out what was going on.
"Very well then," Malek accepted.
The two were silent as they stared at each other. Tanya was feeling awkward and desperately wanted to leave.
"Well then I will excuse myself," Tanya said hoping this was it and he had nothing more to say. The more time she stayed with him she felt like her emotions would explode. That and she didn't want ti risk upsetting him.
"Tanya, wait," Malek said.
Tanya gritted her teeth. What does he want now? She asked herself worriedly. She met his eyes once more.
