Malek didn't know what too say to Tanya when Yaren had left and it was now just the two of them. He'd suddenly become nervous as they stared at each other. This is the first time they were actually going to speak to each other after everything had happened four months ago.
Malek carefully looked her up and down. Tanya was dressed normally, her make up wasn't dramatic like she used to do for him. Her expression was unreadable to him. He was used to the desperate look she used to have in her eyes.
She would have jumped at the opportunity to be alone try to get his attention with him in the past. However, right now she looked like she'd had no interest in doing that at all. For some reason that stung Malek a bit.
As he looked at her standing before him; What should he say to her? he thought to himself.
"Well then I will excuse myself, Your Highness," she said as she bowed before him.
