Rafe was still standing in his place when all the attacks from various sides shot up, dozens of fire arrows rained down on Rafe, suddenly Rafe's right hand was enveloped in lightning. Rafe swung his right hand at dozens of fire arrows, dozens of lightning bolts suddenly struck from Rafe's right fist.
The dozens of incoming fire arrows immediately shattered and exploded in the air as they were hit by the lightning. Seven fireballs shot from behind Rafe at the same time as fifteen spears of various elements shot from Rafe's left, and without turning his head in the slightest, Rafe slapped his left hand, already covered in elemental lightning, backward.
Dozens of lightning bolts shot back, hitting the incoming attacks until they exploded in the air. The second wave of attacks came, this time hundreds of poisoned arrows from three different directions. Rafe casually swayed his body to avoid all of the incoming attacks. Rafe only used his hands when an arrow was about to hit his body.
The seven soldiers who saw the scene didn't blink. They were shocked to see someone who could dodge so many attacks without the slightest scratch. The soldier who had used the knife earlier even seemed to be trembling with fear.
"Impossible, his movements are not like a D-rank adventurer," said the soldier carrying the shield.
"Rank A assassin. That's the only explanation that makes sense," the soldier with the knife muttered.
At the same time, dozens of people landed on the battlefield. Some had their feet on the roof of the fort, some on tree branches, some on the ground, and some were riding wolf-like monsters.
They all seemed to be wearing different armor and weapons. There were also people who kept their distance, watching from a distance. There were also those who hid in the bushes while drawing their weapons. They were none other than the adventurers from Rhymus City, who had come after seeing the signal from the soldiers blocking Rafe.
"I'm not good at counting, but there are a lot of them," Rafe muttered when all the attacks on him were over.
"Is he really the serial killer?" said one adventurer.
"Isn't he a kid?" another adventurer said as he gave Rafe a sharp look.
"Kid or not, the reward for catching him is huge. We just have to catch him," said the sword-wielding adventurer as he drew his sword.
"I just wanted to ask them, how did it come to this?" muttered Rafe as he scratched his head.
"Be careful. His movements are very fast! He's probably the equivalent of a rank A assassin!" shouted the soldier with the knife.
"Rank A?" said several adventurers with shocked looks on their faces.
"Don't joke, it's impossible for a snot-nosed kid his age to be Rank A!" argued one adventurer, pointing at Rafe.
"Rank A? What is that? Is that an insult?" said Rafe with a confused look on his face.
"No, it's definitely an insult to call me a snot-nosed kid," Rafe grumbled as he turned his head to the left to look at the person who had insulted him.
"Hey you! Who did you just call a snot-nosed kid?" shouted Rafe as he pointed at the adventurer who had insulted him.
"We'd better prove it!" said another adventurer who couldn't wait to kick Rafe's ass, he quickly swung his sword at Rafe.
Water sparks seemed to form around the sword, but they didn't last long, for the water sparks were immediately destroyed as the adventurer approached Rafe. Suddenly, the adventurer was surprised to see him, but his sword had already shot from the right side at Rafe's neck.
Without even turning his head, Rafe grabbed the tip of the sword aimed at him with just his index finger and thumb. Meanwhile, Rafe's attention was still focused on the adventurer who had insulted him earlier.
"Who are you calling a snot-nosed boy? I'm Rafe Lostfield, the Neutron Party member who defeated Demon King Xavier!" said Rafe proudly.
"Demon King Xavier?" said the adventurers as they looked at each other in confusion.
"Looks like he's just a snot-nosed kid with delusions of heroism," scoffed one adventurer.
"Didn't you notice that he blocked your ranged attacks?" asked the soldier with the sword.
"We must attack him simultaneously. Don't underestimate him," said the warrior with the staff. Now, directly above his head, five wind spears were created from the condensed air.
"Tch. They really underestimated me," Rafe grumbled as he unclenched his fingers on the sword.
Suddenly, the adventurer who was trying to draw his sword fell backwards as he was carried away by his own strength. The gathered adventurers seemed to turn their eyes to Rafe, they began to be suspicious after hearing the words of the soldiers blocking Rafe.
"I will serve you if you want to fight with me! But don't blame me if you get hurt," Rafe said while clenching his hands.
At that moment, the lightning in Rafe's hand formed a lightning knife. Suddenly, the adventurers present were surprised to see it. Materializing an element that resembled a weapon required high concentration and mana control, something even top-level adventurers found difficult.
"Wind spear!" shouted the soldier with the staff as he stomped toward Rafe.
At that moment, five wind spears shot at Rafe. Rafe easily changed the direction of the five wind spears with the lightning knife in his hand, and the five wind spears shot at the adventurers who were there.
The five adventurers with the Guardian class immediately stepped forward and used their protective magic to block the five wind spears. A loud explosion was heard as the five wind spears hit the guardian's protective magic.
The adventurer who was knocked down this time immediately jumped up with the other adventurers and swung his sword again at Rafe from the left side. In front of Rafe, a Lancer-class adventurer slashed at his spear, and on Rafe's right, another Swordmaster-class adventurer slashed at his sword.
Meanwhile, behind Rafe, a wizard-class adventurer was attacking from afar with seven fire arrows. The lancer and swordmaster attacking Rafe looked shocked as the magic surrounding their weapons suddenly vanished as they approached Rafe.
"Don't expect to hurt me with a crude attack like that!" said Rafe as he parried the two swords coming from the side with the lightning knife in his hand.
While Rafe dodged the seven fire arrows coming from behind by twisting his body, the spear coming from the front also pierced the side of his right armpit.
Rafe grinned and wiped out the lightning knife in his hand. Rafe grabbed the hands of the two swordmasters beside him and smashed their heads together until there was a loud crack. Rafe also grabbed the two swords that had slipped from their hands and threw them backwards at the wizard who had attacked earlier.
The Lancer in front of Rafe tried to jump back, but Rafe grabbed his leg and threw him to the ground. Rafe then grabbed the pebbles on the ground with his hands and threw them at ten different locations among the adventurers.
This time, four adventurers lunged at Rafe with their respective weapons, and six adventurers jumped into the air while slashing their weapons. From another direction, an adventurer with the Archer class shot an arrow at Rafe.
But Rafe just smiled and grabbed the lancer's spear that was lying on the ground. Rafe parried four attacks from below, and the weapons of the four adventurers were even scattered as their hand was hit by the spear in Rafe's hand.
Rafe quickly kicked the four floating weapons into the air. The four adventurers who were already floating in the air couldn't dodge anymore and were hit by the four weapons Rafe kicked.
A loud clanking sound could be heard as the four weapons struck the armor of the four adventurers. Rafe then played with the spear in his hand to block the attacks of the six adventurers attacking from above. Sparks flew from the friction between Rafe's spear and the weapons of the six adventurers.
"What happened? My magic is gone," said the adventurer with the sword.
"The wind element that coated my knife suddenly disappeared?" wondered the assassin-class adventurer.
"Your attacks are too slow," taunted Rafe as he leapt into the air to avoid the wind-arrow magic that the Archer-class adventurers were casting from a distance.
"Ouch!" yelled the six adventurers who were hit by the wind-arrow magic.
"Attack him while he's in the air!" shouted the warrior with the wand.
"Fireball!"
"Water spear!"
"Air Blast!"
"Burning rain!"
"Waterfall Rain!"
"Wind Arrow!"
The adventurers of the Wizard and Archer classes simultaneously used their magical powers to shower Rafe with attacks. Dozens of fire arrows, water arrows, wind arrows, fireball magic, and water, wind, and fire spear magic simultaneously shot at Rafe's floating body.
"This kind of raw magic attack is just a toy in my eyes," Rafe said with a grin.
The sound of successive explosions rang out as all the adventurers' attacks collided in the air where Rafe was. Thick fog was created in the air from the collision of the various attacks, and flames, water sparks, and wind waves began to scatter in different directions due to the impact of the collision.
"Die!" the Beast Tamer class adventurer shouted happily.
"Hahaha... don't dream! Raw magic like that won't even scratch my body!" said Rafe with a laugh.
"Impossible," several Assassin-class adventurers said as they turned their attention elsewhere.
It seemed that Rafe was already standing among the adventurers, relaxed. The spear in his hand even rested on the ground as if he didn't need it anymore, and Rafe grinned as he looked at the surprised faces of the adventurers.
"I don't see any movement," said the Archer class adventurer.
"That doesn't make sense, his movements are faster than S-rank adventurers," muttered some Assassin-class adventurers with pale faces.
"Why is that? Do I need to show you my perfect magic?" challenged Rafe with a grin.
"Don't attack yet!" suddenly came a loud shout from the top of the fort.
