An explosion echoed as I struck the head of a Fungoru, which fell to the ground with a thud. At the same moment, I focused my mana on the tips of my fingers and plunged them into its massive eye.
A quick movement caught my attention. As I turned, a second Fungoru leaped directly at me.

Before I could react, a yellow line sliced through the monster, sending it flying away. It crashed to the ground, lifeless, its body collapsing several meters away.
'She… a third-circle mage. Her mana is incredibly high… No, more like at least a thousand times greater than mine'. I thought as I watched Margareth.
I couldn't help but let out a sigh. While it would have been better for me to kill the monsters to gain experience, Margareth kept taking care of the rest as if she couldn't help herself.
